The drinks were good,
the atmosphere and music was good, the atmosphere was excellent.
I tried the full rack of ribs, it was delicious just not as good as I expected it to be, maybe next time.
Overall good experience, just nothing to say it is over the top.

Still an excellent place to visit.

100/10. Food was amazing & service was even better. We had Jane as our waitress and she was the sweetest. We had the jalapeños & flautas & they were fresh and filling! Will definitely be coming back to try more food items.

From the moment I stepped into Love & War in Texas, I was enveloped in genuine warmth and hospitality. I was greeted immediately and seated comfortably. My server, Jane, wasn't just friendly; she was exceptionally attentive. Following her recommendation, I tried the sliced brisket dinner with fries. The dish was not only flavorful but also generously portioned.

I was pleasantly surprised when the manager, April, stopped by my table. Her journey from employee to manager speaks volumes about the establishment's culture and dedication. The ambiance felt genuinely Texan, making it an ideal spot whether you're dining solo or with a group. April mentioned they host live music on weekends – an exciting feature I plan to explore on my next visit.

My wife and I found this cool place e by accident. We love coming and singing along with Mike Tuck and band. We do not go to any other bar consistantly. The service is great. The staff is friendly. The music is.over the top. Come.join in the fun.

We had an amazing time performing here. Although it's not known for its rock scene, I feel we gave it a great starting point. All the bands brought their "A" game.
There were several groups that came to eat, so I could understand the servers being swamped. The wild boar quesadillas were flavorful and smokey. I was really surprised I enjoyed the fried green beans and dipping sauce as much as I did. The flatulas sampler was crispy and tasty.
All in all, I can see a rock night taking off here. The stage held 4 bands comfortably. The PA was good, as was the lights. Lots of free parking (we had 2 tour buses with trailers) and awesome staff. Can't wait to come back! MESSER APPROVED!

The service here is amazing! They are dog friendly, and management is visible interacting with customers. The live music on the patio is great - so many places to hang out with my friend!

We use to go here many times a week for 20 years. Once it was originally sold it went down hill fast. They are under New owners again and what an extremely wonderful thing to happen. The food is top notch and the renovations are proof the new owner John knows how to take pride and care for the patrons they serve. Love and war is back and even better. Food,service, and atmosphere are top notch. We had the Bevo bites ( steak perfectly cooked and melts in your mouth) and the blackberry cobbler was wonderful as well. Thanks for bring back our favorite place for us.

The food here is ALWAYS amazing! Everything on the menu never disappoints!! Been coming here for years!!!

We have eaten here quite a few times now and it’s always good food and good service! We had Steven tonight as our server and he was great!! Would absolutely recommend coming here if you’re looking for good eats. Also they have live music which is awesome!

My husband and I frequently go to listen to live music and have yummy food. One of my favorite places for our date nights!
I always ask for a server named Tyler, as he ALWAYS gives us the best service around.

Came here for supper with my lovely wife and sat at the bar. We had the wings, spicy chicken and fajitas (all very good!). The bartender was extremely nice and attentive. The food came out quickly! Overall service was impeccable. 10/10!

Delicious Ribeye!! So glad we ate here. Our server Jane was fantastic. I've had ribeye everywhere and this hands down took the top place. The baked potato was perfect, not over done. My husband enjoyed the ribs. Very meaty and charred on the ends. You will have leftovers if you order the full rack. Keep up the good work. We will be back very soon.

Great food, good service, and good music. The location is neat and the decorations make the experience feel even nicer. The menu has a wide variety of options and they manage to exceed expectations in all categories. The ribs I ordered were pretty great and the sides were spot on.

Have been back here a few times. Absolutely great place. I strongly recommend the meatloaf, It's fantastic!

This restaurant is absolutely amazing the staff etc. Are so kind and on point, fast and quickly serve you, I do recommend this restaurant to anyone that really enjoys Texas foods 🤠 and Amazing Margaritas ect.🍹as always every year on my birthday 🎂 I go to this restaurant and this year I went there again , it is still the best ever , I do recommend this East Plano Restaurant to anyone wanting real authentic Texas foods. We were there for the Dallas Songwriter Association Hall of Fame event. My little Chicks Who Rock performed and I was so proud of them. The restaurant was really nice the first time I’ve been there and the food was great.

This was a new experience for me so I didn't really know what to expect. I went with my brother who happens to be a sports enthusiasts as we're both former athletes. That being stated we sat at the bar because there was a game on he didn't want to miss.
This was great! We were served by Shelly she helped me with my drink selection as well as our food selection. She was very knowledgeable. We decided on guac and chips as an appetizer. Omg!!! So good!!!! Next was our entrée. We had steak and shrimp. My shrimp was grilled, brother had his fried and both were great! Our steaks were NY strips were perfection!! The loaded baked potato we shared it was so huge. Greenbeans were amazing as was the spinach.
I could go on but go experience it for yourself. Make sure you ask for Shelly, she will give you excellent customer service which is rare these days. Enjoy!!

Not a bad place to go for Texan steak and meat options. Chips and guacamole was awesome. Good steak and brisket menu items. Visitor to Texas and I’ll be back.

Ate here with my family, we really enjoyed it & we had the best waiter, Tyler! He was so great at recommending entrees and went over and beyond with request and served our huge party so well. We will definitely be back!
