Went in to get my two bikes serviced.
Greeted by Fred and promptly sent to the service area.

Jimmy, the service manager, checked my bikes out to see what was needed on it. Stated things look good, lubed up my chains. Recommended some new tires for my bike (to which I purchased) and I went on my way. No charges for checking out the bike, applying the lube on the chains and some minor fixes that took less than 15 minutes. I would've also gladly paid for Jimmy's time if he asked, but there was no charge. Not to mention, Jimmy took his time to answer my questions about bike maintenance and even provided tips on how to ensure my bike is taken care of so it can ride better and last longer.

My experience here was much better than where I originally bought my bikes. They were friendly and weren't pushy on anything. I'm a bike noob, they could've stated I needed a detailed tune up and I would've went with it. But, they didn't.

In my short experience they were friendly and honest and that's enough to get me coming back and recommending folks to check them out.

Love these guys. They've worked on 3 of my bikes (aluminum roadie, carbon roadie, and steel single speed) over the years and they've always done great work. Their mechanics are very knowledgeable, and courteous as well when I had questions. Bike repair/maintenance prices have always been very fair when I've gone in. This includes fixing two almost VERY expensive damages done to one of the road bikes by a "expert bike friend" before I knew better than to just let someone go wild on your bike that's not really trained. Saved me a cool $300 easily on that one trip in. Planning to order my next road bike with them as well after the guy in the shop told me about one of the lines of women's specific bicycles (liv) since I want to get away from specialized and was lamenting about not keeping my old Giant.

I’ve been taking my Kona Libre to Jimmy at Blue Line bike lab since I bought it in 2019. I mainly use it for commuting to my job. At that point I was going to their old location on telephone road, now I go to their heights shop. Jimmy’s eyes lit up when I first brought it in since he had the same model, and clearly had a heart for that bike. It is always a great experience to bring in my bike to Blue Line. Usually jimmy fixes the issue there and then and gets me on the road again. Awesome mechanic, very quick and professional, and reasonably priced. If you have to wait I’d recommend tenfold coffee up the street. Jimmy is a great guy, and is full of good advice on maintenance etc. The store owner too is really nice, and clearly believes in what they are doing. I recommend Blue Line to all my friends and colleagues who bike, and those who used them came back with similar reports. They help make cycling in Houston a joy, particularly for us commuters.

Great local bike shop with attentive staff, fair prices, and good products. I picked up a bike and a kiddo trailer for my two little girls and they are awesome. Always good to have a local bike store to help with repairs when needed, and this is a great stop for folks in the Heights.

This place is top notch bike service. Brandon was the service manager who helped me out and he was super awesome. I needed a new chain and rear cassette because mine were so wore out. They took everything apart, cleaned and lubricated everything, and installed the new parts in just a few hours. I feel like I got amazing value for my money here. The service was great! Bought a brand new bike and before I walked out the door they gave it a once over to make sure everything was good on the bike. While I waited they even gave me a cold beer!

What a fantastic experience. I’ve come in to have my bike tuned in the past and always been happy, but hasn’t purchased a bike here until recently. The staff was exceptional. I recently took my bike to get the derailleur replaced and I must say they are hands down the best shop to take your bike for fixing. Prices are reasonable, good customer service, the guys from the front desk to the guys who work on the bikes very friendly and knowledgeable. One thing that actually helped my experience was providing my own part so it would make their job easier. So my experience overall was phenomenal. Thank you Blue Line Bike Lab for very good service. I will definitely recommend to anyone seeking bike or bike services.

I have been a customer of Blue Line for 7-8 years now and their dedication to customer service still amazes me at times. I purchased a high-end bike from them almost 3 years ago and have had a few warranty issues with the bike (OEM issues, not BL). Throughout all of the dealings with the OEM, Blue Line has been extremely supportive and always works as an advocate for me as the end user as opposed to holding a firm line on the manufacturer's warranty.

Recently there was an issue with the frame of my bike that required replacement. The bike carries a 2-year warranty, and the bike is 2 years and 9 months old. Fred truly went to bat for me with the OEM and got them to replace the frame under the warranty, in spite of being 9 months past the covered period. The warranty clearly states that the end user is responsible for labor and non-warranty related parts needed (I wanted new shifter & dropper cables). In spite of the clearly stated warranty, BL insisted on covering the labor for the frame swap and even installed new cables at no charge.

This is not the first time Fred and his team have gone above and beyond what is required or expected to take care of me as a customer. Besides all of this, Fred has put together a shop that has a great atmosphere and is just a cool place to hang and talk about bikes. I highly recommend you check them out!

It’s about my 4th maybe 5th time getting my bikes fixed here at blue line and they never disappoint me, make sure to get at Jimmy walked in today with my bike had a not to bad sprocket problem wanted to make Thursday’s ride and may I say Jimmy had me in and out of there in like 10 min told me what I needed to fix my bike but that I’ll be able to ride tonight, thanks blue line.

I am very impressed with their professional service! They are efficient. Now I understand why the place is a laboratory instead of just a shop. I will not look for help for my bicycles in any other place

Great shop for miscellaneous repairs. Had a flat on one of my SE bikes. Brought it in short notice and was repaired in 10 minutes while I browsed the shop. Wife seemed interested in one of their customs as well so will definitely be back.
