Lone Star Cafe

I really enjoyed my breakfast here. The service was excellent. She was so friendly, helpful and attentive. The food came out super fast and tasted fresh and delicious. I am picky about my eggs and hash browns, and they were perfect. The atmosphere was very classy and laid back. I loved the calming jazz music playing. It was clean and the interior is updated. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend coming here!

This place was nicer than I expected. The restaurant is nicely decorated and they have pleasant/ relaxing music playing which creates for a great atmosphere. The service is good and we received our food so fast that my daughter asked if we were at a fast food restaurant. The food taste really good. The oreo pancakes were a hit.

Arrived and was immediately greeted, within seven minutes of entering, being greeted and seated and ordering.. my food was already on the table! The Tuna Melt is delicious here and gives me nostalgia of a tuna melt I used to get all the time as a kid back in our hometown. This was my second time here, will be returning!

The food was very good. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I've had at a restaurant.
Niece's and Nephew's got burgers and the oreo pancake that they enjoyed. The youngest who ordered the Oreo Pancake said they should rename to the five-star cafe. The server and another woman whom I believe was a hostess she was wearing red, but I'm unsure, were both very polite, and took good care of us and the kids.

Lonestar was great! Our server was fantastic and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very calming. I give five stars for the customer service, food quality, portion size, and pricing. Owner and his wife were super kind and visited our table to welcome us. The potatoes in the meat skillet were fried to perfection and the salsa took it over the top! Overall very lovely experience, will definitely come again!

Stopped in on a Thursday morning. We were seated promptly, the place was clean and tidy. It had a really cozy vibe. The food is good. They have one “healthy” option meal. I may have missed if there were any gluten free options. Boasted farm to table for several of their menu items. Overall, everything was good. Service was great. The one waitress working that morning was on it. She had several tables and not one table went without attention. We definitely left with stomachs full of some good food.

Food was super tasty. Lots of variety on the menu. Service was not great, but not horrible either. We had to wait a while to order even though it wasnt very busy.

MY NEW REGULAR BRUNCH SPOT. This diner will not disappoint. The fries were extra crispy, & the hashbrown bowl was delicious. The new owner, David, is very kind & his staff are just as nice. The atmosphere was bright & warm. I definitely recommend this place for brunch!!!!! BEST FRIES EVERRR

Came here around lunchtime with a coworker.
We both ordered breakfast. Our server, Ana, was great. Very nice and helpful. She gave some recommendations on the menu for us, and did not disappoint.
As you can see in the pics, the portions are generous. The food was prepared well and the wait was not long.
Also, not pictured here is the glass of orange juice which was also quite generous compared to other places you may go to.

One of the best breakfast,brunch places I've ever been to. The Cafe is run by Korean couple, and they were the nicest people ever.

Ordered the country fried steak, lonestar benedict, apple sausage skillet, and very berry crepe (not pictured).

Everything we ordered was delicious. Their eggs over easy were perfection. Slightly runny whites and very runny yolk😤👌. Hollandaise sauce was delicious, and the hashbrown was crispy. The sausage in the skillet was super flavorful and sweet.

My surprise winner was the crepe. Each bite was filled with sweet whipped cream and juicy bits of fruit.

Will absolutely visit this place anytime I'm in the area.

Perhaps the best take out packaging of eggs benedic I have ever picked up. They package the order so well, it is impressive. But, the most important thing is that the order was wonderful. It is such a great place to dine or pick up food from. I look forward to visiting again.

This is my first time here, and I could not have asked for a better place. The staff is pleasant. The food was exceptional. The staff checked in with us through the whole meal. The atmosphere is cute and spacious … don’t feel crowded in . My only regret is that we didn’t come here sooner. Great job .

Tried this place out with my parents and wasn’t disappointed. The owners both were very friendly and welcoming! The food tasted like home cooking and very delicious. I live right down the street and would totally came back to support local business and eat yummy food.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was delicious. Very clean place, nice staff and friendly. The very berry waffle was out of this world. And the Sunny Side Up… eggs were delicious and perfect. Definitely coming back here again.

We were visiting from NC and found this place on Google. Food was amazing. I Had the hasbrown bowl and he had the Philly steak and fries. So much flavor on both dishes. Fries were nice and crispy. Hashbrowns had so much flavor. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Very much recommend if your in the area

Pleasant surprise when we found for Easter brunch. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and the atmosphere perfect. Prices are reasonable especially considering how great the food was. Apparently it's only been open 3 months but is run by experienced professionals. Highly recommend, we'll be back soon!

Was visiting from Massachusetts. Was told this is the place for excellent breakfast . Got there today. Ordered the eggs Benedict and side of corned beef hash. Best hash eaten. Wife ate Denver omelet. Good Strong coffee. Oh so good. Christopher our waiter was so kind, gracious and attentive. Agree this is a must visit when in grapevine.

We’re visiting the area for spring break and came upon this wonderful family owned restaurant! Every single staff member was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed! It’s such a nice, clean, and welcoming environment ❤ The food it’s self was amazing and so fresh! Definitely will come back on our next trip to this side of Texas 🤗My family and I give the Lone Star Cafe an A++++

We’re a food family we love to travel and try different places and this has to be hands down without a doubt the best breakfast spot we have found!! Everything was beyond perfect including the owner!!! All I can say is WOW!!
