Dr. Hernandez is fantastic. He takes his time while being efficient, is knowledgeable and friendly. The clinic itself is a well oiled machine, 10/10 would recommend. The only challenge is they are so good, it can be a bit booked out to get in as a new patient, but it's worth the wait!

I really appreciate the excellent medical care my family has been recieiving for over 8 years now. Dr. Ansari, Dr. Maxwell and Joshua Fink, PA have all had a positive impact on our health journey. Their expertise and compassion make it a very reassuring that we are at the right place. One thing I am very grateful for is the personnel that provides a friendly and caring disposition each and every time. I could mention many but the ones that come mind are Cookie, Lori, Ashlei, Veronica, Jennifer that guide us in the right direction and help sort out questions. They are extremly helpful all the time. I have however noticed a decline that the use of a Call Center could be improved for a much smoother experience or bring back the hospitality that so needed in this fast paced world. I would hope that Capital Medical Center would not fall prey to the McDonaldization of Society. I have had difficulty from please call back my computer is slow to confusion on how to schedule an appointment. I miss that personal touch of knowing the person at the other end of the line. Please don't become an impersonal, and having less communication just to satisfy the profit line while sacrificing the integrity of what many patients have known in the past as the Traditional version of Capital Medical Clinic. Thank you once again for your professionalism.

My experience with Dr. LaViolette was great. I went in for annual physical. She was very thorough, explained everything and spent over hour with me !! My long-time (25 years) doctor retired and referred her patients to CMC. I was a bit anxious about moving from a small 2-doctor practice to a larger more modern practice. But once I met with my doctor for the first time (Dr. Erica Carroll) I understood why my previous (and very holistic) doctor chose this practice. I immediately felt respected and understood; she listened and advised. The staff at the center —including the extensive lab— is so very professional. I’d recommend the practice to anyone (including my own daughters!)

My husband and I have both been seeing Dr. Maxwell for several years. He is personable and thorough. He listens carefully and responds with medical guidance that is thoughtful and considerate. I am confident in the medical care we receive from him and the team at Capital Medical. The office has a lab and diagnostic equipment, so much can be done there and not outsourced to a third party. The staff is courteous. Parking is convenient as well.

Parking is very easy. The checkin staff was very prompt and very clear in her instructions. Dr. Daniels is always very professional, very willing to discuss any of my concerns, and very helpful in pointing out what was good/bad/average in my lab tests. I never feel rushed and always feel she treats me as though she has all the time in the world to deal with my questions and issues.

A few days ago I sought an appointment with Dr. Sarah Daniels fully expecting to see one of her very able medical assistants. Not only did I receive an immediate appointment, upon arrival I was greeted by delightful, efficient and friendly personnel. Moments after seeing Dr. Daniels I was comforted and encouraged by her response. She made me feel able to greet the world again.
I left being grateful for every person I encountered at the clinic, thus, a happy ending.

I love Capital Medical! Everyone there is so nice and professional and they take plenty of time making sure you are cared for. I’ve been a patient for years, no complaints. Love the new building. Dr. Carroll listens and I don’t ever feel rushed.

Was establishing care for my father and couldn’t have had a better experience. The staff was ready to take us back before we even got finished with the wonderful front desk staff. Everyone was very respectful and kind. Dr. Buteau and Stephanie were thoroughly amazing! Getting my dad set up with such a terrific care team and knowing we are taken care of going forward is such a weight off. I have already recommended this group to many of my friends and will continue to do so. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Maxwell is a data driven doctor and explains to you his treatment recommendations in the context of what is known about then, and he'll sometimes cite studies. He also is not afraid of sharing more anecdotal results, from alternative therapies for instance, when discussing treatment options. To me this is great: he brings data to the table at this clinic and puts all options in context of what is known about them. Makes the patient a partner in their pursuit of overcoming what ails them.

I made an appointment easily, saw my doc's assistant, had lab and xrays, and was out the door. Everyone was super, professional and friendly. I am grateful for this group and for all the medical professionals here in Austin! We are blessed to have them!

I have been seeing Dr. Maldonado for many years at Capitol Medical Clinic. From the people who do your intake, to the medical assistants, PAs to their new high tech office where they have improved many procedures to better deliver a more positive experience, everyone is friendly, professional, and attentive.

The care you receive at this practice is exceptional. Reading some negative reviews on here surprises me, and I’m almost certain they were unavoidable outliers. From time to time I’ve had to wait a bit in the exam room before Dr. Maldonado comes in beyond my appointment time. On the infrequent occasion it has happened, it’s mostly likely he had a patient before me needing a little extra time, or he’s had documentation to finish or perhaps taken a consult call, or perhaps all three. It’s not a disregard for his patients. In no way should it be considered that I was forgotten or not a priority.

If you want a very good practice, with caring, professional, and friendly staff with in house labs, ekg services, and imaging services I would recommend Capitol Medical Clinic. I have actually done this. Dr. Maldonado is very good at whole health care including suggesting referrals to specialists you may need beyond the scope of his specialty and even the occasional brief assessment of your psychological state when faced with a challenge or fear. I hope to continue my care at Capitol Medical Clinic for the foreseeable future.

They also have a state of the art patient portal website, with a messaging service for important messages, appointments options, appointment reminders, a place to pay any remains balances you have online, your profile, your medical information you self report, medication list, chart documents and customizable settings. All on a secure network available only to you and your medical professional. This is why I give Capitol Medical Clinic and Dr. Maldonado Five Stars.

Incredible care! The staff is super professional. They actually pick up the phone when you call! And then follow through on all post- appointment details. I am so thankful there’s still a place in Austin with exceptional care. And Dr Vo is the best!

Dr David Vo is the best primary medical doctor in my 82 years. Always spends time with me assuring and recommending care. He supports my physical as well as emotional fitness and never hesitates to use labs, or appointment with specialists if needed. I trust him completely

This experience was great, thank you. Friendly. Efficient. Just personalized enough, nothing too sappy, just seemingly authentic genuine interest and care—thank you everyone involved. Over the past few years I’ve experienced numerous medical procedures here in ATX, and in Santa Barbara, CA, where I lived for many years. Some of the procedures and the individuals involved have mostly been positive and successful. And…and there’s been a few exceptions where the personnel or procedures have been less than enjoyable and a few downright uncomfortable and unsuccessful. I’m fortunate to be able to feel comfortable about my next appointment and procedure.

I loveeee my doctor. She is always very honest, direct, and caring. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. I have more than 8 years receiving care from them and I will never change.

Dr Amanda Laviolette is my Dr. She was excellent, great personality, answered all my questions , took her time to talk with me and made me very comfortable . She is exceptional !!!! Excellent experience. Went in for labs recently, prior to my annual, and I was incredibly impressed by the efficiency. Check in, EKG, chest x-ray, blood draw, and urine sample. In and out in about 25 min total!

Capital Medical Clinic is the best. Not only is my Dr great, if I need anything else done, they can do it there: labs, bone density, vaccinations, ear wax removal, --you name it. Maybe some day, they will give haircuts also.

I always have a great experience at Capital Med, the staff, nurses and doctors are first class.
Everyone is extremely friendly and professional.
If you need an internist this is the place to go. Ask for Dr. Johnathan Klocek, he’s the best doctor I have ever had.
