Wheatsville does everything so right! We love their beautiful produce at affordable prices, their donuts and sourdough bread are THE ONLY donuts and bread I enjoy, the deli is the highlight, and the bulk section is huge. If you're an owner, you receive an extra 10% off the weekly deals. The shopping experience is always mellow. If you need help, the employees are approachable and willing. Wheatsville also supports local charities - you can round-up your total to the next whole dollar to give to the monthly designated charity. This place is special<3

I've been a member since 1984, and I've worked there as well (I managed the deli in the mid-90s). Wheatsville is an Austin icon AND a great cooperatively member-owned grocery store. I can't count how many of my friendships have started at Wheatsville, but the number is huge and the people I've met through there are the best. I'm proud to have one of the older member numbers! I'll never give up my membership there!

Their vegan donuts are the best donuts I’ve ever had. So fluffy & soft. We drove 2.5 hours to get these donuts & it was worth it. Thank you!! Made my daughters whole week!

Also love that they let their employees wear what they like & be themselves. They all looked happy & were so kind. That’s how it should be.

Im not vegan..Lots of great options for vegan, vegetarian or regular shopping. My brother-in-law and one of my sisters are vegan.. I've been hooked on the popcorn and bbq tofu..with the cashew dressing and the cilantro lime dressing. I think I'm gonna stop there today and get some more! Definitely try the salad bar and hot food bar!

Excellent community cooperative grocery store. You do NOT need to be a member. Employees and shoppers are wonderful. Produce, shelf stable, and prepared foods are delicious.

Groceries, cute jewelry, bath products, home goods- this place has it all. Their staff are always helpful and friendly, and unlike most places these days, they sample a wide variety of their products! Which is really great for trying new things. It's a pretty good value for the quality levels you get. I do wish they had member discount days more often - the co-op where I used to live had them twice a month. But overall I love supporting a cooperative shop where they treat the workers well, where shopping is actually fun, and where they source many local, fair trade and organic goods. And all of it is delicious!

This place is great if you are looking for whole, organic and or fresh groceries. Staff is always friendly and the place clean. Can be a bit more expensive than other stores.

Just like the Wheatsville on S Lamar, but in a more conventional place for the students... great selection of local seasonal, farm fresh, and organically grown foods. Helpful staff, delicious made to order sandwiches, and a great selection of home decorations and necessities....

I love coming here. Fresh produce and the employees are always so nice.

My favorite store in Austin. Full of organic goodness and they also have tons of great organic wines. Love this place.

I love Wheatsville specifically for their deli. Molly at the Guadalupe location makes the best veggie avocado deluxe ever. I’ve been ordering this sandwich for 10 years and nobody makes it like they do. Definitely a great place to go when you need something healthy, fast, delicious and satiating.

It’s a smaller co-op with a great selection! The prices aren’t too crazy and the staff are friendly and helpful! I’m always a bit annoyed by the fact that I’m always asked to give my change to some cause when I pay... but every store seems to do this these days! Makes it kind of feel like their kindness isn’t genuine! Still give it 5 stars!
Oh and the nitro coffee ... my god... talk about a boost after lunch. Heeeehaw!

I got in on the $5 dinner. Tonight, there was Cuban style chicken or tofu, rice, and a black bean & mango salsa. It was delicious! It was just the right amount of salty, spicy, and sweet. Wheatville always has a good food bar but today was really great! The lady in the herbal section is great, too.

I'm a regular Shopper and member. Nothing like a late night snack since they're open till 11:00!

This is just a feel good eat good shop and you have to put this in your mix of shopping every now and then or as your main. It has a great selection of hot food for lunch too and the price is reasonable. Definitely feel good when you shop here too while knowing it is a co-op!

Love this little place. Great grocery store and take out deli. I picked up a healthy lunch for under $10. Turkey and bean soup, barbecue chicken, a roll and a gingerade house drink. Picked up some local eggs too.

The selection and prices in comparison to Central market is on point. I will definitely be becoming a member.

We love wheatsville. It is an ethical, local business. They carry everything we need. I appreciate that I can shop there without getting a migraine from all the chemical smells of detergents and air fresheners. They carry a good variety of products that are safer for chemically sensitive people and the environment.
