Hard to find good BBQ out of Texas for us but this place had great reviews and I had smelled someone grilling earlier and soooo.
We split the 2 meat plate consisting of brisket from the marbled end and ribs, both of which required a $3 upcharge. A little excessive.
For the two sides we upgraded to onion rings.
The brisket was tender, juicy and had wonderful flavor. The sauce is a little thin but also has a good flavor.
The ribs were just as good. Tender and a very good smoked flavor.
The onion rings were crispy and tasty.
They also brought out some small muffins that were great.
Tabitha was our server and we recommend her to anyone going there.

An Alabama barbecue restaurant chain. Very nice inside. There is a bar area and a room for gatherings. Always awesome BBQ no matter to which location I've been. This restaurant is at least as good as any of the other Jim N' Nick's. We came in for a late lunch (1:30pm) and were seated right away. Service was very good. Food was too. Usually pretty busy at dinner time. Small corn muffins are complimentary and delicious. I ordered the full rack of baby back ribs, bbq corn on the cob and collard greens. This is messy but awesome tasting food. Corn was fresh and crisp, ribs were genetously meaty, and greens were good but a tad salty. I couldn't have finished all the food. The ribs were so meaty I had 2/3s boxed up to go. I finished up with the banana pudding which was awesome too.

We enjoyed a very tasty meal...BBQ chicken quarters, back ribs, corn, fruit, and the corn muffins with honey butter...all of it delicious. Shadow waited our table, she took care of all our needs and was very pleasant to talk to...forget the other food choices in this area, Jim 'N Nick's is where you want to eat...

First visit to this restaurant. The food was surprisingly good. Nice portions . I didn't know what to expect The service was Great. Our server was very polite, personable and attentive. Thank you Crystal. Crystal If you visit Michigan or Ohio watch out for the snow this winter.

One of the better BBQ places around. Everyone at the table had something different and it was all good. Chicken, bbq loaded potato, wings and even the deviled eggs were great. Oh and the bread rivals the cheddar bay biscuits at Red Lobster. I could have eaten a dozen of them.

The service I received was exactly what you’d expect from southern hospitality. I came and ate alone and sat at the bar, Jameka (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was so friendly and helpful. This was my first time here and it won’t be my last. They serve these delicious little cheese biscuits and the salad I started with was so good. They use real bacon pieces, and the salad tasted very fresh. Then I had the brisket and okra and both of them were delicious. I can’t say enough good things about this place. This is the 3rd bbq place I’ve tried in Montgomery and by far my favorite!

Our server was top notch funny and accommodating she was great.. food was good as usual

If you're looking for excellent southern hospitality, this is the place. My waitress, Cailey, was the best. Friendly service with a huge smile. Besides the service, the Pork on a Bun with fries was really good. And can't forget about the butter biscuits and sweet tea full of crushed ice. Definitely will return next time I'm in the area.

Jim 'N Nick's in Prattville nice and clean looking. The server was really nice. Delicious cheese biscuits. My smoked turkey and caslaw were good. The grilled cheese sandwich with corn on the side from the kids' menu tasted good. They didn't have crayons to draw anymore for kids to interact with them while food is coming. They should bring them back. They provide a high chair.

First time here and it was wonderful. Brisket sandwich and turkey sandwich were delicious. Good size portions and the little cheese biscuits are out of this world delicious! We even bought the mix to bake them at home. Staff were great as well.

I had a 3 meat combo with Ribs, Turkey, and Catfish. It was excellent! Catfish was clean and light. Turkey was moist. Ribs were meaty and just the way I like them where they stay on the bone with good flavor. The two BBQ sauces provided were good I like the red better than the white. I had BBQ beans and they had pulled pork and good flavor. The cole slaw was great with the right amount of sauce. The deviled eggs were sweet and spicy and as always I love deviled eggs. The half (top) of Cheese biscuit was good with honey butter. I would go back.

I had the BBQ baker, and it was phenomenal! We went about 1:00 pm and did not have to wait. Our server was professional, friendly, and efficient, but he didn't hover. Great food for a good price.

I don’t think you can go wrong with ordering anything here! My food is always fresh and hot and the corn is so good! And the biscuits?! Takes the prize every time 🥰

Absolutely delicious!!! This was our first time eating here and we were very pleased. The service was great and the food was absolutely wonderful. The ribs were flavorful and tender!!! Their complimentary mini corn muffins were amazing!!! We'll definitely be back!!! Thanks.

My first time at Jim N Nicks in Prattville, Alabama tonight. Great service and excellent food! Love the BBQ. The sauce is spot on! The biscuits are some of the best I’ve had. A huge thank you to Destiny, my amazing waitress.

Great place to stop on way home from PCB! The cheddar biscuits were stellar! Hubby and I got the smoked turkey sandwich and loved it! The white bbq sauce was perfect addition. The sides were excellent as well, collard greens, potato salad, bbq corn cob, fries and Mac and cheese were all selections in our party. The chicken tenders were nice and crispy and well seasoned. Tabitha was an excellent server, kind and attentive. Nice atmosphere and clean. Would definitely return! Sorry I didn’t get any food pics!

DELICIOUS! I was in the area for about a week and ate here three (THREE!) times because the food was so good. The portion sizes are generous and the service is great. Also, they have a drive through. I usually don’t have high hopes for chain restaurants but this one proved me wrong - I’ll definitely go back.

Manager Earl & staff has been nothing short of amazing! They graciously helped us with our local high school marching band’s annual competition! We can’t thank them enough for their excellent customer service & going above & beyond! Not to mention the food is always top notch! Their pulled pork plate is so yummy. I prefer JNN over Dreamland and Full Moon BBQ. Baked beans and Mac n cheese were delicious. Highly recommend!

Delicious! Today I enjoyed the Quarter (leg and thigh) Bar-B-Q chicken plate with white sauce. The cheese biscuits, baked beans, and corn on the cob were also very tasty. The food is always great, and the waitstaff is friendly and attentive.
