Hotel Indigo Birmingham Five Points S - Uab, an IHG Hotel

Very exquisite hotel room we had. From check in to check out and everything in between was a pleasure. I do extensive travel for work and stay in several hotels. The staff here was about the friendliest I have encountered. Very pleasant people. The location is great and the scenery from the seventh floor was spectacular. If your staying in 5 points south area I highly recommend this hotel.

To begin with, I stumbled across this hotel and instantly appreciate me finding it . As soon as I arrived the check-in process was seamless and easy thanks to Cartasha the receptionist who also went out her to ensure we had a great stay. The rooms were big as seen in the pictures, provided parking and also in a great location. My boyfriend and I will be returning!

This hotel was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Our room was perfect size for a getaway. We were located close to everything. We never had to use our car. Charlea and Nita made us feel at home. I highly recommend the cosmo to drink at the bar and the breakfast burrito for breakfast.

My wife and I stayed overnight to celebrate her birthday and enjoy nearby fine dining. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very nice. Nita at the bar treated my wife to a glass of champagne when she heard it was her birthday. Thank you Nita, you made her feel special.

I had one of the best experiences at a hotel at this location. I work in an industry where my schedule is a suggestion. I had to extend multiple times and the staff accommodated me exceptionally well. The front desk staff, Cartasha, Marci and Kadavrus (valet), and the bar staff Nita made my experience! The hotel is a vintage historical site. One of the most beautiful repurposed buildings in the city.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, from the amazing front desk and valets, the amazing and wonderful bartender. My husband had brain surgery at UAB and the staff were so helpful to me and my Dog( Goober). They were so attentive to my needs and my husbands. We will be staying there again next month when my husband has another surgery.

The staff here was so pleasant and funny. My boyfriend and I travel a lot and sometimes we need a in city stay. We stayed the weekend downtown due to the Alabama Greek Picnic and this hotel was ideal. Everything about my suite was what I needed. One of my friends had air issues they were attentive and moved her room and belongings quickly and efficiently. I will definitely stay here again. Every single valet we encountered was awesome i didn’t get everyone’s names but Edwina, Sharykia, and Rick were just a few of the amazing employees at this location.

Absolutely loved this little boutique-style hotel. The valet was very friendly and courteous. She offered to take my bags and was overall very hospitable. The two ladies at the front desk were super kind and attentive. The hotel itself was gorgeous. I love the modern, sleek furnishings and how large the rooms are. Plus is so close and convenient to all the restaurants and nightlife in 5 points. Highly Recommend. I'll definitely be staying again next time I'm in town!

This was a great place to stay. The room was nice and comfortable, and the staff was amazing. It's within walking distance of several restaurants, and the area was clean and seemed very safe.

My first time staying In Birmingham. It was for my dad’s surgery, so it was only one night.

Barbara, who checked us in Wednesday night, was AMAZING and made us feel comfortable and satisfied with our room and stay. She helped us with any and all issues (including room temp and suggestions for restaurants nearby), and was prompt and professional with assistance. She was super nice, professional and helpful!

Latisha, the GM on Thursday was also wonderful. She assisted us at the bar for our breakfast drinks and showed us the upmost hospitality. Although she was not the assigned bartender, she made us feel like we were very special guests and helped us order our drinks. We had so much fun talking to her and we felt very welcome.

Good experience overall, but the assistance of Barbara and Latisha absolutely enhanced our stay and comfort at the Hotel Indigo for the night.

If either of those women are taking care of you, you won’t have a better stay anywhere else!! Loved you both! :)

This is one of the best, if not the best 3 star hotel I've ever stayed in. The ambience was great. The hotel was very chic and stylish. I couldn't ask for a better location in Birmingham. I feel that this hotel was in the hub of the city. The hotel was extremely clean. The staff went over and beyond my expectation, althought everyone were great two that really stood out were Gabriel and Shakira. Hats off to the staff you guys are the best. Thanks again for making my stay remarkable.

Michelle goes above and beyond to make sure all hotel guests are happy. She’s always sympathetic with client concerns and is accommodating with reasonable requests to make sure all guests enjoy their stay. She’s pretty awesome and she’s why my company chooses this hotel.

Please note there are parking fees because of the location. In historic Five Points. There is so much to do in this area. Pizza 🍕, Chinese, Kabobs. Public parking garage is located behind hotel and is $25 a day where the hotel costs $35. This hotel is right next door to The Infamous T-Bones Authentic Philly Cheesesteak & Hogies. Burgers 🍔 and more don't miss Dat Dam Dip !

I am not a guest of the hotel but I was a walk in at the hotel. I just want to lint out that the lady at the front desk she gave her name as Anthyia gave exceptional services and answered our questions very well. Secondly your bar lady Keke she was very pleasant with her service and the drinks she made was exceptional

Stayed here overnight a few days ago. My son goes to school in Birmingham and lives near the hotel. I usually stay at a Hilton property, but have been unsatisfied with that hotel so I decided to give Hotel Indigo a try. I was not disappointed. I ABSOLUTELY loved the suite I stayed in! It was beautifully decorated and spacious. The bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable! I have never slept so soundly away from home. The staff was friendly, especially Stephen at the front desk! He went ABOVE and BEYOND to assist! My water was cold on the morning of checkout. Not only did he assist with the issue, but he adjusted my check out time so I didn't have to rush. It took a while before the water got hot again. I am a frequent traveler and when I choose a hotel property to return to, at the top of my list is not price or amenities. The employees make the difference for me. The location, amenities and price are an afterthought. This was well WORTH the money spent. I visit Birmingham at least twice a month, and I will ALWAYS stay here from now on! Already booked for my next stay!

The staff was so helpful. They spent more time than necessary, helping us sort through activities and restaurants. The room was well stocked, very clean, had wonderful views, and was quiet and peaceful. We paid for valet parking and I'm glad because the street they had to go down was so tiny and I'm glad I wasn't stressed by parking. It was pretty expensive but I would splurge there again!

A cute little boutique hotel right in the middle of everything - restaurants and night life - and easily walkable.

Great customer service and clean rooms with a nice view of the city. You’re surrounded by all sorts of restaurants and bars within walking distance and a nice small workout area for a quick pump. Can’t wait to visit again!

I have never stay at the hotel but I have been to the bar several times and KEKE is the best !! She makes awesome cocktails and her personality is beyond excellent !! I wish they had more selections of liquor but KEKE make it do what it do and I love it. I make it my personal business to come see her every week at the bar !!! Thanks To KEKE 😁
