No Limits Hair & Style Salon

Peter and Cindy Ferraro, the owners of No Limits, are among the best people I know! I have been getting my hair cut there for over 30 years and always leave pleased. They are professional, kind, caring, and always willing to listen to what I want for my hair. Their salon is a charming little spot that is always clean and sanitized.
I would strongly recommend their services if you’re in the market for a hair cut or any of their other services.

Have known this great couple Peter & Cindy, since their days of running the Pizitz Salon in the main store downtown in the 70’s before they got their own Salon “No Limits”, where it is still, just off UAB campus next to Epic School and across from a little park. I use to fly down from Buffalo NY to get my hair cut when I visited home. Luv U guys!!

I go to this salon all the time. im 15, and i think they do great work. im not one to say much, but some of these people on these reviews are being plain jerks. susie, is my brothers mom, and she does great hair. ms.cindy, is really good too, and so is mr. pete. these are some great people. not only do they treat you nicely, they treat you like family, instead of a customer. I love you guys from No Limits :)

Being a military brat Im not used to a decent haircut and being a guy I've never had a razor used on my hair before...needless to say this was the best haircut I've had to date and I would highly recommend trying these guys out. Peter, the owner I believe, is who cut my hair just for reference.

I have been going there since rhe opened over twenty five years ago. Peter has been my barber since 1978 when he worked at Lovemans hair salon.

I know of no other hair salon that meets the quality and friendliness as does No Limits. I've used any number of other choices since 1983 and none matched the excellent customer service of No Limits. I will be a customer forever!

Peter and Cindy are great folks. They've been cutting my hair for years. I've never been disappointed.

Fun place to get haircut to meet your expectations.

Suzy is the well-kept secret here at this salon. When I first moved to Birmingham, I looked at a few fancier salons trying to find a place to get a reasonable and yet good haircut, but couldn't. I eventually stopped into No Limits just to try it out, and have been there ever since. Suzy does top-notch women's hair cuts. She is systematic and very capable. I also love conversing with her in general. While I can't recommend the whole place, I wholeheartedly can say that Suzy is great.

The salon was very accepting and I had a great haircut would recconnend.

Looks like a good place to take the lady in your life for her hair to get done.

Tried this salon after getting a groupon deal. Glad I didn't pay full price. Cindy cut and highlighted my hair. She began cutting my VERY damaged ends dry -- when I questioned the process she said "I've been cutting hair for 30 yrs. This way I can see where the damage is." I assumed she was just getting rid of the obviously bad ends before giving me the highlight and would go back and give me a real cut. Wrong. The highlight came out beautiful, and her process was very fast -- faster than most since she uses paper instead of foil. I'm very pleased with the highlight and the processing time, so that's a big plus. BUT, after washing out the highlight, she proceeded to style my hair- no return to the cut or any effort to ensure the quick 6 snip cut was even. (I went to my regular stylist the next day and she cut (fixed) my hair. My stylist said it was uneven in back - no surprise - and she gave me a real cut - wet, small sections at a time, and comparing lengths from side to side and overhead.) The salon is unique, Cindy is a very nice person, and I liked being there. As a colorist, she did a great job! But my cut was like a bad $8 Cuts By Us job. Would NEVER go back for a cut, but may consider going for highlight only. Watched Susie cut someone else while I was there, and she appears to do the "normal" process. Gave Poor to Fair because of the cut. Highlight was Very Good.

They made a very wrong haircut to me. I went once, but I will never go again. They have $5 student discount though.
