I had the best experience with Hairfolk! My stylist was Lauren and she was tentative, sweet, and precise. She did highlights without a haircut on this visit. I would recommend Hairfolk as a reputable salon.

I had a fantastic experience here! First walking in, it's super beautiful and very clean, and everyone was immediately kind and helpful. I saw Lauren for my cut who is incredibly sweet and professional! I showed her some inspirational pictures and asked for her advice on how to make the style work for me/my face shape and she knocked it out of the park! I had longer layers done as well as a bangs trim and walked out feeling great with exactly what I wanted. Couldn't recommend this place more, and I will definitely be back!

Hairfolk is the only place I'll get my hair done in Birmingham! All
the staff I have interacted with are friendly and inviting right when you walk through the door. I have had my hair cut twice with Whitney Warner, and cut once and colored twice by MacKenzie Dean, and I have never walked away disappointed.

MacKenzie is incredibly knowledgeable and talented. I walk in with a couple inspiration photos, and she talks through what I liked about each so we can build my perfect vision. She also asks me questions about how I style and maintain my hair so we can adjust the color and style to something that would better fit my lifestyle. My hair looks perfectly sunkissed, and MacKenzie places the highlights so they grow out naturally and don't require much upkeep (a goal of mine). Selfishly, I want to keep MacKenzie as my little secret so she doesn't get booked up and make getting an appointment too difficult, but her work is too amazing not to share!

Finally found an amazing hair dresser (Josh) and wonderful staff at Hair Folk. Josh is definitely talented and cut and styled my hair exactly the way I wanted.

10/10 experience. The staff is great and everyone is so knowledgeable. I was paired up with Jesse, who is phenomenal. My hair hasn't looked this good in years and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. What I had done was a little pricey, but it was worth it and Jesse made sure to explain how I can manage the upkeep to prevent spending a fortune next time. I will highly recommend this place to family, friends, and strangers.

The new salon is absolutely gorgeous! Eric did an amazing job with the design, a totally pampering experience! Devin always does a fantastic job on my hair~cut, color and style! He is so much fun to work with! All of the stylists and staff are amazing, you can't go wrong!

Hands down, the best salon in the Birmingham area! Devon and Whitney are both amazing with blondes. Whitney has been doing my extensions for over a year and is a GURU. From the consultation to upkeep - she is always there to answer questions and keeps my hair looking fabulous! The salon itself is decorated with a sophisticated elegance and the people that work there are even more wonderful. Cannot say enough great things about Hairfolk!

Hairfolk is one of Birmingham's finest salons. The overall interior is enough to draw people in, but the talent of the stylists is matchless. I recommend each and every stylist because Eric does such a good job at picking his stylists. Hairfolk has my heart and hair.

Visiting this salon is always a delight. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, customer service is wonderful and during the pandemic they have really taken public health seriously. I usually see Whitney and always love what she does with my hair!

I love Hairfolk! I’ve been going to Kristie Michaels for years and can’t say enough good things about her. I live in New York and literally fly back to Birmingham to see her - she always does an amazing job, both on my color and my cut. The salon is beautiful and everyone is so friendly. If you’re looking for a salon with exceptional stylists and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend!

Hairfolk is hands down the best salon here in Birmingham. The new salon is gorgeous! All of the staff are very attentive and amazing at what they do. I left there with my cut and color looking better than I ever thought it could. I am already looking forward to my next appointment!

Best salon ever!! Great new addition to the Avondale area. Beautiful and great parking.... but the best thing are the stylists!! Eric has my heart... but everyone is amazing!! As a 58 yo, he fixes all the issues with my hair ( color, hair acting crazy) and I walk out feeling 38☺!! Treat yourself today to Hairfolk... you will not regret!

Today was my first time having Eric color and cut my hair. He really took the time to figure out the look I was going for and exceeded my expectations. I’m a so impressed by his professionalism and of his staff as well. From the moment I stepped into the salon, the whole staff treated me like royalty. And, not to mention that his salon is simply stunning!! I recommended this salon to all!!

Both Devin and Eric are amazing stylists! I've been seeing Devin for my cut and color for almost two years, and every time I see him, my hair looks so good and I get a ton of compliments! I always tell them it's the work of Devin Ford at Hairfolk. You don't even have to know exactly what you want! He has this fantastic ability to know what would look good on you and then delivers. So glad to have found Devin!

Hairfolk is the spot! Everyone is there. But I must say, it’s all about RYAN! He is Amazing. I hadn’t had a haircut since before Thanksgiving and Ryan worked wonders! Hairfolk is the only place you should consider for your hair styling. Eric and the entire team are consummate professionals and collaborate together to make the clients happy and satisfied. The salon itself is gorgeous, and no detail has been spared. I recommend Eric, but really you can't go wrong with any of the team.

The team is both friendly and attentive, the gorgeous salon is equipped with the best tools and products, and my cut and color are perfection thanks to Eric Goss! Loved my first visit at Hairfolk and looking forward to next time!

Y'allllll this place is just THE BEST! I've moved around a fair amount and tried out my fair share of salons, and this was hands down the best experience. The receptionist is warm and inviting both on the phone and in person. The decor is beautiful... I wish my house was so beautifully decorated. The services provided by Devin were AMAZING. My haircut, color and blow out were perfect- exactly what I asked for. I already booked my next appointment because I was so impressed with Devin and the entire salon. I even enjoyed a beautiful glass of Proseco while receiving services. It was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Hairfolk.
