Got to mention the BBQ.. It's simply awesome!!!!! Love it!!
Here is one bit of advice.
Whenever a customer comes to shop in a store, he is looking at the character of the employee. If it's not friendly, the customer will not want to go to that cash register at all..👀👍😉
So, always be friendly to all people..

It's one of the biggest piggly wigglys I've ever been in. They had everything including excellent sushi

This is the best grocery store in Bham.....Maybe Alabama.
Pigs are like a box of chocolates! You never know WHAT it's like!!!
Bham has Pigs all over, and the Liberty Park one has as much in common with the Forestdale one as a Hog and a Hershey bar do.....
This one leans towards the Liberty Park version but it's bigger. LOTS of vino and craft beer, plenty of nice meat and produce. It had a recent MAJOR upgrade, It still has a lot of Asian and Latin specialties along with simple budget level stuff. Eclectic clientele, nice staff. There is a shortage of prepared foods- it just isn't what they do. There's a conventional Meat and 3 deli and some sandwiches. Nothing like a Publix or Greenwise location but...guess what? You don't need a co-signer at the checkout either...The store is very clean, well stocked and has friendly employees. Parking is usually no problem. I guess the 20th Street Publix is its natural competition, and the Pig is a clear winner on price, parking, selection, and ease.
If the Homewood store gets this treatment, Publix may as well shut down the too-precious Greenwise experiment.

Amazing variety, especially for pantry items. It's the only grocery I've found in recent years that carries pretty much all the ingredients I need to prepare my go-to dishes, ingredients such as stewed tomatillos in a can and whole wheat macaroni pasta. It's also a fun place for people-watching. Lots of well-dressed patrons with sartorial style!

I shop here all the time prices are low I come from irondale and it's worth the drive there meat and produce always fresh no complaints and I am a woman of color I know I save money and get fresh food 2 thumbs up for me

Been shopping at the Piggly Wiggly on Clairmont for 15 years now. It continues to get better. They carry locally grown produce in addition to the regular produce. They have a good beer and wine selection and the staff are always friendly. Love that they carry Owls Hollow lettuces along with other local favorites. They are in the process of significantly expanding their footprint.

My family shops here a lot. The staff is always super friendly and helpful if I'm having trouble finding something. Selection is good, produce and meats are excellent quality. Manager is always visible and engaged.

Love the staff and convenience. They will even supply items I request. They have 3 or more rows of any wine you can imagine and they have a large selection of gluten-free items. I walk there once or twice a week.

This Piggly Wiggly is very pleasurable to shop at. I like it much better than the one close to my house in Montgomery. The manager and staff working there are wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Another thing I want to mention about this particular store, the show you the real price of everything. No wondering how much it is when you add 10%. I very much appreciate that. They also have high quality draft beers which is a benefit.

"The Pig" is a Southside staple. Prices are a bit high, but the service is good and the store is clean. My only issue is with the store hours, they close at 9pm. I then have to go to Publix, or heaven help me, Walmart that stay open later.

My family loves the pig. We don't shop here all that often simply because the prices are higher than some of the bigger competitors. We love the awesome variety they have. I really don't know how they fit so many different foods and brands in a relatively small grocery store. The staff are friendly and helpful, the store is clean and well stocked and overall it's a great experience to shop at the pig.

I've been shopping here for 18 years. I do not live local but work down the street. The people that work here are the most friendly and polite you'll ever encounter. The deli prepares some of the best food you'll ever put in your mouth. I've eaten everything on their menu and only one time had something I didn't like.

Very friendly staff. The prices are definitely higher than most Piggy Wigglys I've been to, but the atmosphere was welcoming.

The only retail location to find Traditional Medicinals schisandra tea. I love the stuff (labelled 'detox' but actually has been studied for helping out your liver)

Nice deli hot bar. Good mix of young urban professionals and, local retirees, working class individuals. Did not spend much time browsing the grocery aisles. Day before Thanksgiving. Parking lot was very crowded.
