Arcadia Salon

I needed my hair styled for a wedding. I have long, thick, curly hair that frizzes easily! I am not from Birmingham but decided to schedule to get my hair done there since that’s where the event was. Making my appointment was easy and the reminders were helpful. I found Arcadia Salon easily and loved the location. The salon itself is very nice! I’d seen great reviews for Claire and I’m so glad I requested her because she did a perfect job! Her shampooing felt great. Then she blew dry my long, thick, curly hair with a round brush. (I know it has to be an arm workout but she powered through.) She did the most amazing job and the products she used smelled so good! Thank you, Claire! 2 days later and my hair still smells and looks clean and it’s STILL smooth! 👏🏼 (This pic is from a concert the NEXT night!)

Great salon. Love Lis - really kind and has me smiling when I leave. I don’t get a hair cut super often, so I always go for a drastic cut when I do. Overall good atmosphere and would recommend!

Stopped in today to get my hair washed and brushed because I have not been able to do it myself after surgery. I have tons of long, curly hair and it was NOT in good shape. Nichole took great care of me and quickly and gently took care of the horrible tangles and mats in my hair. The experiencing was so relaxing and the price so reasonable that I can’t imagine I will ever wash and brush my own hair again!

So relaxing and spa like in the salon. I love my haircut and have gotten numerous compliments about my hair.

Macy taught me a lot today about how to care for my hair. She listened well and gave me the cut I requested. She does an amazing shampoo with lots of scalp massage!!

I started going to Arcadia after many bad or just okay experiences at other salons in town. Arcadia is totally different and I have an incredible experience every time. Theo is the best!

Theo was great! He listened to what I didn't like and what I am trying to accomplish with my style and a cut that I can do many things with (style up, curl, length to pin up or leave down). Location is great and easy to get to with parking right next to it!

Amazing!
I have been coming to Arcadia for about a year and a half and have always been satisfied. I would recommend seeing Alyssa she’s talented and wonderful. The salon is also great with its customer service. On one occasion my stylist was out sick and I received a call at 9 am, an hour before they were supposed to open. Thanks to them letting me know so early I was able to plan my day accordingly. Reasons like these are why I would advocate for this place over any other.

Lis is amazing. I recently started seeing her for my hair needs, and she exceeded all expectations. In fact, everyone I've come in contact with at the salon is incredibly nice and welcoming. My hair looks fabulous as well. I would recommend this salon to everyone!

I got a wet cut and brow wax from Nichole, and it was lovely! She listened to what I wanted, gave advice based on it, then executed it perfectly. She didn’t try to upsell me on anything or comment negatively about my self-colored hair, but we had pleasant conversation. The salon as a whole has a nice calming atmosphere and everyone was warm and courteous! 10/10 will be back again!

I have never been to Arcadia before.
Great place, with a lot of parking space. The staff was very nice too.
Most of all, very thankful for Theo who cuts/blow dry/style my hair.
He’s very nice and gentle. I'm loving my hair. He did an amazing job.

Love Arcadia Salon! The atmosphere is pleasant, the people in the salon are super friendly, and I always leave the salon feeling like a new person! Theo is the best stylist I have ever known. I highly recommend his expertise!

Theo is a MASTER hair stylist!! Perfect every time even tho I have super curey/kinky hair to deal with. Great salon & people also!!

I cannot recommend Arcadia enough! It was a warm and friendly salon to visit.
I had a wonderful experience getting my hair cut by Lis. She took time before getting started to ask me a couple questions, look through some photos I had brought with, and to talk me through what she was going to do. Also, the hair wash felt magical.

I’m writing my review right after my appointment because I can’t stop smiling! I had never been to Arcadia before and the welcome I received was so warm. The shop was beautiful and everyone was so nice, but Nichole was the best part! Such a kind and lovely person—she took my boring hairstyle I’ve had for years and gave me something totally unique. She completely captured my vision and I have never felt more like myself. Thank you Arcadia and thank you Nichole, I am a new person!!! <3

I absolutely adored my visit with Theo here! I sometimes feel judged at salons because my hair is so fine and thin, but Theo was so kind, warm, and fun that I had a blast the entire visit. This salon is so welcoming and cute and I am obsessed with them and my super cute new cut!

Part of me is hesitant to even post this because 1. I’m not the kind of person who ever leaves a review and, 2. I’m afraid if someone reads this review then Theo will be so booked up I won’t be able to get my own hair cut again! I was referred to Theo at Arcadia at the recommendation of a friend and WOW I was not disappointed. It is a beautiful salon with easy parking and gorgeous layout, for starters. The products they use are fantastic and left my hair smelling so lovely and felt so soft. But most importantly, Theo gave me the best haircut and blow out of my life! I had an event later in the evening and most people don’t even usually notice my hair cuts since I often have to go home and “fix” whatever mayhem has happened to my curls, but I went directly to my event and received tons of compliments. Theo himself is an incredible hype man and will leave you feeling beautiful. I’m SO excited to have finally found a salon I love in bham and can’t wait to go back!!
