Kind Roots Yoga & Massage

I love Kind Roots!! I have gotten a few massages from Abbey and she does a wonderful job! She always customizes it to make sure I feel my best.

The place itself is so cute and welcoming. I feel warm and cozy when I'm there. It's a relaxing escape. I'm excited to try the yoga classes some day too!

Kind Roots is one of my favorite places in the world, and the instructors are some of my very favorite people. The classes are affordable and fun, and there is a wide selection. Everyone is so welcoming, kind, helpful, and inspiring. The instructors have always made this older, plus size, decidedly not graceful woman feel at home and capable. I would recommend Kind Roots to anyone looking for a beautiful, magical place to practice yoga and to connect.

This is the nicest group of people you'd ever want to meet. The Reiki treatment left me feeling refreshed and revitalized. My wife does Yoga there and it makes her so happy.

Such a great yoga studio!! I love practicing here. I had a great yoga studio in Omaha and I struggled for a long time to find an alignment based yoga studio in Birmingham. So if you're looking for a yoga studio that encourages props and focusing on your own yoga practice this is the place for you. They have a variety of different styles of classes, from vinyasa flows to yin to restorative. The teachers are all very encouraging give great cues and offer modifications for poses. A safe space for your yoga practice.😍

Also, Abbey is hands down the BEST massage therapist in all of Birmingham! I send everyone I know to her if they're looking for a great massage experience. She's so down-to-earth and her knowledge of yoga, the body, as well as proper alignment leads to a well-informed massage especially if you're looking for functional and pain targeted massage.😍😍

It's in the name- KIND ROOTS. What a beautiful owner who is responsible for the magic that is this yoga studio. I have attended classes myself and walked away completely happy and at peace with my instructors and experience. They frequently offer specialty classes and are great at building community within their yogis. As the downstairs shop owner- I love seeing such happy and restful faces exiting the yoga studio daily. It's a joy to share the building with Kind Roots and watch them grow!

Kind roots is the most MAGICAL studio in the Birmingham area. All instructors are welcoming and kind ( aka KIND roots ). 10/10 would recommend this studio to anyone wanting to have a meaningful practice ❤
