Iron City Bham

Tonight was pretty amazing! The venue held a lot of people but it didn’t feel unsafe or stuffy. Great band tonight at the private event we attended and the acoustics were terrific. Staff was friendly and efficient! The valet parking was a nice touch plus the VIP areas upstairs were a good idea. Overall, 5 stars!

My favorite place around to see live bands. There are seats to sit at, close to the stage. Or stand on the floor in front of the band and watch from up close. There are reserved seats up in the balcony. We arrived early for the Samantha Fish show. I have seen Buddy Guy here as well. we had a good bar food dinner at their adjacent restaurant. Wings, burgers, and fries. Then we walked from there straight into the venue. All very relaxed and secure. There were plenty of well lit parking spots out on the street. I will be back!

Been here multiple times, Great venue. No matter where you stand you'll have a good view.

Great venue to see some indie and famous bands real up close for a great price, the sound is great I went to see Pop Evil and Polyphia the parking lot on the side of the venue is charged separately and the closest free parking lot is 1 block away on 23 Street S between 4th and 5th avenue S but you need to be early during big shows otherwise you'll need to pay close parking lot or pay for parking meter.

We went to see Samantha Fish and the venue was awesome! She was amazing and we enjoyed seeing her perform. It was an outstanding show and the best part was she came out afterwards and signed autographs for her fans! 🩷 The venue was top notch and we will definitely be back for future events!

Iron City is one of my favorite concert venues in Birmingham. It's the perfect size - intimate, but not too small and even in the back, you're still not too far from the stage. I've seen multiple shows there, including Steel Panther this week. They also always have an interesting lineup of shows. And, as they say, it's air conditioned!

Every concert I’ve attended here has been a great experience. If you prefer to see above the floor level, there is standing room around the sides.

If you're not aware, Iron City also does private events and we recently booked them for our wedding. If you love the look and feel of a classic Birmingham/industrial setting, book Iron City for your private event! First of all, it's such a fun venue, and having a full stage made us decide to hire a live band and everybody had SO much fun. Second of all, Kendall, the coordinator for Iron City, is so incredibly kind and helpful. If you're worried about table linens and how many sandwiches to order and those little details stress you out, she has the answers to all the questions you could possibly ask. I feel like everything was taken care of, and she was always happy to answer my random questions and concerns. It was also so convenient to have food and drinks as part of the rental, and it was nice to not have to worry about coordinating all of those things as well. All in all, I feel like my wedding was beautiful, SO fun, and Kendall at Iron City is one of the big reasons it went as smoothly as it did. Can't recommend it enough!

A great place for concerts, parties, and of course...The 99.5 Christmas Spectacular! 🎄 A great time was had by all!

Totally loved iron city! It's been a few years since I came here and the experience was just the same. The flow of the crowd was good and didn't feel stuffy. Will come again!

Great live venue! Awesome sound, big enough to feel like more than just a bar, intimate enough to feel close to the performers.

Had the best time at the Liquid stranger Dimensions tour concert! I was next to the wall of bass speakers. The sound quality was above anything I expected! Security was on point. No issues at all.

Would love to see even more edm artists get to perform at this perfect intimate venue

It was very chill! Great vibes! Excellent service and security. Very fun experience They hosted Isaiah Rashad's Lil sunnys adventure Tour and it was so fun. Splendid atmosphere, Dance floor next to the stage, outside smokers 'pit' still attached to venue, and gated. Clean and Wonderful place to enjoy a couple drinks. Reasonable price for shots 8$

Great intimate venue, convenient access to the bar while the band is playing. Bar tenders were very nice, helpful and friendly. Prices are not over inflated like they are at so many other venues. Band we saw played an acoustic set as well as their normal metal sound and the sound was great for both. Will definitely be going back to see other acts in the future.

Went to see Lil Wayne and I was impressed with how security handled a situation and they kept walkways clear. It wasn't hot inside at all and the line moved very quickly.

Iron City was an AMAZING venue for our wedding and reception. It exceeded our exceptions in every category. Iron City has a great space that allows for a large wedding guest list, a cocktail hour where our guests could enjoy drinks and appetizers while the main area was flipped from wedding to reception, and spacious dance floor while still offering plenty of high boy tables and seating. Michelle and her assistant Arielle are total wedding pros. They did everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly from the rehearsal the day beforehand to the sparkler exit at the end of the night. During our food tasting, we personally met the chef who made recommendations to ensure our whole guest list would be satisfied on our budget. As you can see, each aspect of Iron City is built for your perfect wedding venue. I could not recommend this venue highly enough!

Awesome venue!!! We upgraded to the 2 seater tables - SO WORTH IT! The middle (C5) table has an amazing view - dead center!!

Great venue and they bring in some awesome acts! We had such a great time checking out one of our favorite bands, Silversun Pickups, at Iron City. Birmingham was the 1st stop on their tour, and we couldn't have been any happier getting to see them rock out at Iron City. This was our 1st time doing primere seating, and it was pretty awesome. Great full veiws of the stage, and upstairs bar access was top teir. I love the location of this venue because we always come down a bit early to walk around and dine at one of the many great restaurants in the area before checking out the show.
