Iron City Grill

The Grill at Iron City has a LOT of amazing options! We try to get something different every time we go but are always drawn to getting the Fried Green Tomatoes! They are each topped with Pork Belly, Pimento Cheese, and Homemade Tomato Chutney! The staff is friendly, the drinks are great, and the service is fast!

I had the time of my life at the Thundercat concert 9-16-22. The venue had great service, lighting, tight security, low key vibe with intimate feel, and option of reserved tables on the balcony with a "private" bar. I highly recommend it.

It was great! Live music was a plus! Good food, good drinks! Customer service was pretty spot on. The bartender was super cool. She even came and chatted with us!

I loved the atmosphere of the iron city grill. Summer vibes drink was really delicious. Ordered some pimento cheese and pita chips as well. They were delicious and it was a pretty good size for an appetizer. Waitress was amazing as well.. Definitely worth stopping here if you are in the area.

This is an outstanding concert venue with an impressively professional and friendly staff. The facility itself is well setup to accommodate different sizes and types of events, and the way they make the crowd flow easily is so smooth that you don't even notice. You're in. You have a great time. You're gone, and in a fantastic mood! I highly recommend!

Excellent food, wonderful staff, great ambiance and with natural light. This was an awesome lunch experience, the grits were smooth and flavorful, the burger exactly as it should be, and the buffalo cauliflower bites were super tasty. Will definitely come back, highly recommended.

Got together with friends for brunch. We decided on Iron City Grill. It was a great time! Service was excellent. The food was hot and delicious. Eventhough there was a slight error with our order, everyone was polite, professional and worked together to make it right and now, its just a funny story we tell each other and laugh making it a memorable brunch and good time had by all. Thanks so much Iron City Grill for helping facilitate a great time with friends and family, y'all ROCK!

Creative dishes in a cool venue. Service had been great both times I've been there. Menu changes seasonally, so check back!

Update 8/6/2021: The short ribs sounded great and looked amazing, but they're even better than that! And my wife had a blackened tofu salad that was great too. They always have some interesting choices for vegetarians and pescatarians (fish eaters).

Love their cauliflower (I think bbq), love that they have vegan options and that their options are so delicious! Staff has always been lovely the three times we've visited. The staff even made sure every time we've been not to put the dipping sauce that's not vegan on the same plate as the cauliflower we ordered to be vegan! Small things like that are very nice because sometimes other restaurants will still put it on the plate and it spills and touches my food and then those are pieces I can't eat.

Wonderful experience in dining in a casual atmosphere. We enjoy the free and easy parking adjacent to the restaurant. My wife and I shared the Wings and the Corn Crab dip. They were both outstanding. We then ventured further into the menu and shared the Cuban Sandwich with a side of Cheese Grits. Incredibly tasty and delivered hot and fresh to the table. We ended the evening with a Creme Brûlée with Fresh Berries. It was delicious but alas we were unable to finish it. The specialty cocktails are all the rage here. I’m a Bourbon Drinker and enjoyed the Alabama Dram. My wife’s Savignon Blac was chilled and very good. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout dinner. We can’t wait to come back and dine again.

Cool spot that will get the job done for drinking concert goers. They don't have much food selection but it is tasty and will cut the alcohol. The staff are nice and fast too.

We had an awesome time The Purple Experience was off the chain! Bobby Miller takes on the entire Prince persona. It's a must see! The sound system at the Iron City Grill is always on point! The drinks from the bar are nice as well.

Popped in to grab dinner before a show, didn't expect much but was very surprised! The food was great, although it was a little overpriced (what isn't these days?).

Great way to get some food and avoid waiting in line, and they'll let you take your drinks into the venue. Will definitely return!

Basic bar food, but the staff put this place at 5 stars. I took my daughter to a concert at Iron City Bham, we decided to grab a bit to eat prior to the show. The staff were on point.

Amazing food, their burger was absolutely out of this world. Corn cheese dip with fresh corn chips were great as well. Music was rocking, my mom and I couldn't help but sing while we ate and had a blast. Staff were kind and friendly. The restaurant itself was incredibly clean. Will return!

Had the opportunity to visit Birmingham Alabama for the second time with my niece. This time we ate at Iron City Grill. The interaction with the staff was great fun as we clowned my niece! The food was oh my God!! I had Cajun and Asian fried cauliflower, a Greek salad with blackened shrimp and some collard greens. The food was excellent feel myself going into the talked about food coma knowing I wanted to take some of the food home I just kept taking bite after bite going oh my God, oh my God!!! And you know the test of good take away food right it was even, it was even good cold y'all!!! Can't wait to come back to Birmingham in 2 weeks so that I can get some other vegetarian delight for myself off the menu!!!!

Brunch was great! I had the Alabama Cheese grits bowl and the Blue Crab and Shrimp Creole Dip with fresh chips. Serving portions were generous. Food was delish. Friendly service, full bar and huge TVs for viewing the football games. Will be back.
