Kirby's Tire & Service Center

I needed 4 new tires on one of our vehicles as they were past the expiration date. 😃 I shopped a few places to see what the best deal was after researching which tires got the best reviews. Kirby was extremely competitively priced and got us in and out quickly. They had the tires we wanted in stock so it worked out great! Glad we were able to support a local small business over a big box store!

I've taken my car to Kirby's now for the last 4 years. They have done a great job keeping it in great condition and always going the extra mile in their customer service. When I needed a new set of tires for this winter they got me in quick and found me what I needed at a competitive price.

We had a problem with the car's battery and locking system. The problem was diagnosed quickly and we were given extremely helpful advice on how to address it. I couldn't recommend them higher! They were courteous, responsive and patient with our questions as we decided what to do with the car. We live in Chicago and my son is a student at U of I, so especially appreciated the excellent service for a student away from home. 5 Stars!!

Josh and his crew are rock stars. They have gone above and beyond for everything I have taken to them. And I have some extremely difficult problems.

Over the years I've always felt like these guys are straight with people. Never had a bad experience.

I can honestly say Kirby's is one of my top 5 favorite businesses in town. Is that weird to say about a tire & service center? It's true! The employees are what make me choose to come back time & time again. Their great customer service starts with a phone call. Josh is a pleasure to work with - he's organized, knowledgeable, remembers details about my car (which is crazy b/c my car is reliable & therefore only needs oil changes every few months - no major repairs, thankfully), and is flexible working with my schedule. The building is clean & comfortable to wait in while your car is serviced. The guys doing the work are always thorough & clean - never making my car leave smelling like a shop. I have routinely been pleasantly surprised with their fair prices for the amazing work they do. As if I couldn't love them more than I already do, they really made an impression when they showed kindness to my dog. I had an unexpected issue arise with my car & needed it seen ASAP, but had my dog with me. It was insanely hot outside, but I was prepared to wait out in the shade. They invited both of us in to wait in the air conditioning while my car was being worked on. I will never take my car anywhere else & would happily refer all of my friends and family to Kirby!!

I had them put on tires in the summer this year and they did a great job. Today I got them rotated and they were plot and fast with their service. They also checked other items out and noticed the oil was a little low and topped it off. Great to know since I'm going out of town this weekend. Thank you for the fast and friendly service!

After two years of experience with Kirby's I feel comfortable in saying they have been consistently honest, reliable, and up front about their work and the cost they charge. Being a graduate student at UIUC it is difficult to judge who in town to trust with auto repairs. They've been in business for decades and have convenient bus service to and from the shop for most of CU. They offer a seating area, tv, and refreshments to customers and have experienced professionals working there. I have found their service discount card, which they offer on their website, to be a great deal. Finally, if you are new to having your car serviced be sure to listen carefully to their recommendations and ask questions if you are unsure about any aspect of the process. I believe they are there to help their customers stay on the road while charging a fair price for their services, you can't ask much more than that from a service center.

Josh and the KF team are the best! Friendly, competent, honest and very reasonable. So grateful to have them here in Urbana. Building is a historic train station, too.

I had a flat tire during my commute to Urbana and Kirby's was able to get me a pair of new tires the same day, plus an oil change. Very happy with my experience here.

Needed 2 vehicles that had been sitting unused for a couple of years, checked for road safety before a long drive. Kirby's thoroughly checked them both and got them ready for the road with classic speed and professionalism! Thank you, gentlemen!

Victor Price is the best. All the guys there so friendly, and prices you can't find anywhere else

Have been here several times and have only had good experences. They are transparent about their prices and have been patient with my questions about my vehicle's maintenance

As usual, they did a great job.

Got oil changed and mechanic was nice. Went above and made sure all oil was cleaned off the motor from when I spilled it.

Got a free air pump and two cap for my tires
