The food and entertainment the night I was there was great. The food was great and had the fish and cheese fries and my wife had the special of wings and fish. Everything was cool. Keep up the good job and hope to return soon.

My friend had his 40th birthday day party here. It was a great time. The event space was very spacious and affordable. They provided food and had a full service bar. Plenty of onsite parking. The staff was friendly. They helped out a lot during set up and was really accommodating. I would definitely use this venue again for a party.

Neighborhood spot. Good Drinks. They have two bars. I have hosted political functions here and birthday parties. John and his wife have refreshed the decor and it's nice. Too much Sauce - chicken and etc. Restaurant connected to them. Eat Up!

Legacy Books and Cafe is the longest standing Poetry Hub in St. Louis, MO. It's known with the Spoken Word community for Friday night Open Mic. The bar's known for it's grill's famous chicken wings and bartenders heavy hands ;) . Tell Mr. Nicks and Jay, we said, "Hello!" Everything from the bartenders to the events that they throw here are awesome. I really love the Word Up event they have on Tuesdays. Definitely a place to go if you're in St Louis for vacation or if you live here and just need something fun to do on a Tuesday evening.

Celebrated a friend's 70th birthday at the Legacy. Plenty of parking, spacious party room with good sound system, clean environment. Very nice place for an event.

The place has an atmosphere of GROWNUPS. Regular people with extreme and pleasant attitude towards old school chivalry with new school music. The owners Mr. & Mrs. Nicks or Awesome and community oriented not what you see now and days. They Bop and Step as well as line dances. Thursday night in the city is the place to be.

Went to a fantastic open mic night on a Tuesday at the bar! Word Up was the name of the mic. Great vibe from all the bar patrons and staff. Heavy handed drinks at a great price. Can’t wait to come back to St. Louis to stop in again!

Got 15 piece Henny wings 🔥 but I think they forgot my extra fries, not sure if I was charged for them. Fries wasn't really bussin but I came for the wings anyway. Will be back.

It is a great place to learn STL Bop on a Thursday night. Mark is a wonderful teacher.

I used to come here on Fridays for poetry and now I go on Tuesdays for Word Up Open Mic which has been running for 6 years. Good vibes, good drinks, great food from Too Much Sauce, and talented performers gracing the stage.

Legacy is a great event center for any occasion. They hosted a Family Repast for us. The owner and staff are 👍 great to work with.

I have attended The Church of Leroy and ordered from Too Much Sauce. Legacy is the perfect place to host your open mic type things. They also have a full bar. It's a yes for me.
