Really enjoyed the ambience of the store. So peaceful & fun! They have a great Butcher 👍 He gave us a meat lesson 😍 they have a grab & go Dinner for two kit. 😉 amazing g hot food, groceries, produce, you name it! And they really believe in supporting local products! Amazing staff! They earned all 5 stars 🌟

Came in and grabbed lunch. I haven't been here sincebI was kid, my granny and great aunt shopped here. Anyway, grabbed some baked chicken(very well seasoned), fries(had a nice salty zing), and a cold pressed juice. All was great and the staffed recommend other items on my return. Good service and I will be back.

I have heard of Straubs for years but decided to check one out. It was a great store. The pastries were awesome and priced very low for their size. They had just about what ever you may need on a visit to pick up this or that. The biggest thing I noticed was their incredible selection of prepared foods that you could just take home and warm up to have dinner.

High quality offerings for a wealthy neighborhood so you pay a premium. Everything you need with some unique options not available at traditional chain grocery stores.

I love Straubs. Dropped in yesterday & picked up dinner & dessert for my husband & me. Everything was delicious, as usual. Straubs is a true gem. Employees are always so nice & helpful ❤

Really nice Market. You stopped in for some pastries donuts and cappuccinos. Service was friendly and prompt prices were comparable.

Probably my new favorite grocery store. It’s in the Central West End, they have great food and amazing customer service.
I especially love their deli meat. They make it in house, and it’s amazing! Try the Honey Ginger turkey.

I went to straubs today for a salad and I encountered Jo Jo. He was awesome, very pleasant and very prompt to help and respond. I really appreciated his customer service today. It was nice to be treated like a paying customer. Thank you Jo Jo.

When you visit St. Louis if you enjoy fine foods but don’t particularly want to go to a restaurant due to Covid try Straub‘s fine grocers, one is located close to our USA #1 ranked Forest Park where the Zoo, Art Museum, Muny Opera House, Missouri history museum and our science Center are located.

Straubs had a great selection of hot foods, fresh fruits and veggies, too notched pastries, cakes, pies and homemade candies. My favorite is Miss Hullings split lemon 7 layer cake slices, also in chocolate, strawberry, caramel, all homemade!

A wide selection of fine wines and alcoholic beverages as well as natural cold drinks such as raspberry lemonade by Oberweis dairy. You can create a fantastic feast for the ultimate picnic in the park, to make it the best experience ever!

Wish I would’ve remembered the workers name, but I came in tonight and was kindly greeted/told to ask if I needed any help! Really friendly customer service :)

Wow, what a really nice place to shop.
I discovered this little gem when I had 20 minutes spare before picking up my son and forgot my drink at home.
Went in to buy a bottle of water and left with 3 salads.
The chicken one, an apple one and one that turned out to be the absolute BEST salad I think I have ever eaten, the tomatoe salad. I'd happily drive the 35 minutes to get this again...which I will be tomorrow lol gonna buy a massive tub tho this time lol
The staff were also so very friendly and a real joy to deal with, they are a huge credit to the store.
If you're in the area and looking for some yummy food and excellent customer service then look no further, Straub's is the place....just don't take all the tomatoe salad 🤣

Fantastic store, fantastic employees, and somehow even more fantastic deli/lunch food.

Having grown up in the area, the CWE Straubs has been a favorite since childhood. Occasionally I pop in to grab some of the famous chicken salad and sweet treats and am never disappointed [though sadly, these staples have not been up to par lately]. Also ensure you grab some of the fantastic and fresh meat, fish and produce. Be mindful that while the store has everything you need, it is a fine boutique grocer and the PRICES (and products!) reflect that. I love how all the local favorites are available in house. Already planning goodies for my next pop in for holiday party fixings. Genuine staff greetings and smiles abound to the customers and further the warmth of the store.

This is the best place to get great quality groceries. I actually go here for my meat mostly but I cooked this entire meal with 100% of my groceries from here for only $30!

Dutch bacon gouda potato salad is very good.

Charming landmark store. Catering to fine foods and unique accessories. Staff is super friendly. Make sure to find your way to back deli and bakery section.

Going to this store is a treat in itself. I love the set up of the store. It is tidy, well stocked, orderly, and has great options. I tend to bring my adult client that has autism here. Not only is the staff generally friendly, they are genuinely friendly, personable and give Allan extra love and attention. He loves to get the specialty bakery items from here. They used to sell whipped orange Creme yogurt but not anymore but we have found a replacement that makes Allan just as happy. It is important that I take Allan to places that have positive, chill and friendly vibes as well as order. The set up of the store and the people make for a great shopping experience and Allan feels safe. Because of the location, parking is limited and sometimes challenging.

I've always love the quality food at STRAUB'S. Now I must drive over 25 miles to get there, but you can believe it is worth every mile.

I'm commenting in regards to the straubs on Kings highway.

The pastries, hot bar, deli, and meat department are all top notch. The service is friendly. The workers are helpful. Basically all the nice things you could say about a grocher you could say about this place

My stepfather before we passed away was a professional chef and he shopped here for his meat. He was the head chef at a luxury nursing home.

After living in Central West End for roughly 2 years, I finally took the time to stop by this grocery store. I love this place! They have a very unique selection of bottled sodas, and the bakery has several options for my sugar cravings. I like that the place is small so I can get in and out. The times I've visited, the lines were short or nonexistent. It doesn't feel as commercial and busy as Whole Foods, but the product quality is similar. The staff is helpful and friendly. If I ever want some upscale groceries, I will definitely stop at Straub's first.
