The reviews are correct! This is a homey, small-town diner with great food. Most of the patrons are locals, but the staff are very friendly to travelers as well. The chairs are nicely padded, which we really appreciated. The bathrooms are clean. Most importantly, the food is cooked perfectly and served hot. The prices are great as well. Breakfast is served all day. Be sure to ask about the daily special. It was chicken when we were there, and the meals coming out of the kitchen looked incredible!

Stopped in here today and had a wonderful meal. I love that they serve breakfast all day, they also offer lunch choices. Super fast service. A delightful hometown restaurant in Saint Elmo, IL! There's a special feeling of friends and family comeradity amongst the obvious locals who come to eat and visit. It's such a great place to get quality homestyle cooked meal breakfast or lunch. And the staff is wonderfully personable. Prices are reasonable also.

Everything e love going there for Sunday breakfast before church. Their food is just good home cooking; we are never disappointed. Their meatloaf (Thursdays only) is the best I've ever eaten, including my own! It's worth the trip.

We have Family near St Elmo. We visit a couple of times of year and always go to Mary Ann's for breakfast and are never disappointed. Great selection on the menu and, if they are able, will get you something off menu. Your coffee cup will never be empty. If you go in around 7, look for a long table in the second room with an interesting group of characters.

This place has great food and great service, expect down home hospitality! Great biscuits and gravy! Shout out to you Mary Anne!

This place is off the beaten path but....if you are looking for breakfast that taste like you are at Grandma and Grandpa's, this is the place! Restaurant was clean, service treats you like friend/family, food was fresh and delicious. If we are ever back in the area, we will be back. God Bless❤

We were very lucky to be visiting this weekend, as it just happened to be the first time this season. Jim, the owner, had the smoker going for ribs, pulled pork and other amazing selections. Always great food, great service and a nice, friendly atmosphere.

Great home cooking, friendly staff. If you have questions about the area, come in for breakfast between 6:30am and 9am and ask. There are usually plenty of local people relaxing and eating more than willing to answer questions. And feel free to join in to the multiple different discussions
