Both restaurant and market is great! Authentic. Chicharron Might be spicy for American but I love it lol

Finally had opportunity to slide by. Today we wanted some chicharrones and guacamole for a snack while we were in the area. Very friendly staff we will definitely be back I even seen some candy I grew up on while living in California I didn't have much time to look through all the candy but I was excited to see they had a nice selection.

So glad to have stumbled upon this place. The staff is warm and friendly and the food is quick and delicious. Everything was made with care. We ordered the Al Pastor Tacos and the Caldo de Res. The tacos were plump and juicy and the soup was easily one of the best we've had in the metro area. I almost forgot to mention the salsas. The verde was easily my favorite but zero complaints on the roja. Will absolutely be stopping to eat here whenever we're in the area.

The store and restaurant are super clean and organized.
I decided to get breakfast while I was there. They serve instant coffee and give you a hot cup of water to make it. Even though they do it that way, the coffee , cream and sugar measurements made it delicious & perfect!!
The restaurant custom make orders. I ordered a breakfast plate (ham & eggs a la mexicana) and they modified it to my request with no questions asked. The salsa verde was super fresh with just the right heat. The serving was more than enough for 2 people.
As I was eating, they must have had about 20 walk up to go orders in the 30 min time frame.
Even with current dine in restrictions, it was obvious the loyal customer base is there.

*update Jul 2022- went last week. There’s construction and the prices went up. Lunchtime on Sunday is busy. I recommend going for breakfast.

Wonderful food, fast service (Sunday morning breakfast), excellent service by a beautiful server. Will definitely return. We had huevos rancheros, chorizo tacos, horchata and coffee.

Foods fire good portion size 6'6 300 have gotten the burrito fajitas nachos and today fajitas cant finish it. U get ur moneys worth. The margarita is good but could use more tequila in them. The waitress make me want to learn Spanish

Charming little Mexican cafe in the back of the grocery. The sopes were excellent. If your looking for something more authentic in the St. Louis area, come across the river and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious food and great service 😋!

Wonderful service and excellent chicken fajitas at this restaurant! Side salad was fresh, with tomatoes, onion and avocado slices. Chips were fresh and crispy. Salsa was different from the Tex-Mex I know and love...but was good. You need to try this place!

The freshly made corn tortillas and gorditas make a huge difference in how good a taco is. I get the carnitas usually. It's expensive because we eat a massive quantity of tacos, and it's not cheap to have someone mixing masa harina by hand and pressing it into tortillas.

Fantastic authentic Mexican food! They give you a lot of food for a very affordable price. This is a very nice place to bring family!

Awesome food, great service

Delicious and authentic Mexican. There's a variety of agua frescas, and the orange margarita was absolutely delicious. I got the asada burrito which was also tasty. This place makes their own tortillas and that freshness really shows. Be sure to also check out the store!

The only place near me(1,5hrs) to get arachera which was a must for dinner, the staff were so polite and accommodating. Definitely will shop there again

Our meal was delicious! The owners are terrific and the little store sells some really awesome organic haas avocados along with other fresh veggies and fruits!

Great food small but cozy place to eat, their tacos on flower tortillas are my favorite, love that the store is in the same place, always walk out with some groceries out of there, their to go tamales are awesome

Delicious take out. Man and woman so loverly. 1.00 tacos on thursday. Carnitas, al pastor, yummy. Dont forget the avocado sauce. Mini grocery store to get all your needs. Already cooked or buy it and cook it. Authentic
