Lowe's is great. But I really think Home Depot is just a tiny bit better inside. Location-wise, Lowe's is better.

TT helped us out in the paint section and was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and happy to help us, her cheerful energy made our night and our visit! She has got to be one of the nicest and most inviting people we’ve ever met!! Next time we’re at home depot we’ll be sure to see if she is there!!!

Our second home. We spend a lot of time shopping here for our small business. Always friendly staff and usually have what we are looking for.

TeTe in the paint department was very friendly and knowledgeable about her department. She made my shopping experience very enjoyable.

I come to Champaign and savoy from New Orleans for construction work every couple weeks. Every time I come to these Home Depot’s service is excellent. It’s a pleasure to shop here.

Home Depot has almost everything you could need to maintain or renovate a home. They have plants, lawn mowers, tools, lumber, and everything you could need to build a home as well. Their prices are usually cheaper than Lowe's also.

I went to Home Depot to get some shelves for a bookcase that I had which had none. I am a 82 year old senior citizen and know nothing about wood or shelving. I walked into the department and saw this already busy salesman and told him I wanted shelving. He asked what kind. I told him the cheapest kind he had. He asked garage? I said yes. We walked to another department and saw plastic shelves. I wanted just the shelf I had the wood frame. He was so nice and patient and helpful and generous with his time because he was busy when I approached him. I then followed him to another place with plastic unit shelves. I told him I had the wood case & only wanted the shelves. He said there are three possibilities. Plywood, ready made colored shelves and the. Regular wood. He went on to say now u want the least expensive . Let’s figure this out. I declined plywood. After checking the other two. We determined it best to get the colored shelving and cut it How nice of
Mr. John Tully I saw his name on badge. This is long I know but how often does one run into a salesman that will walk to other departments to help a customer. I have never had such a pleasant experience gaining knowledge about what I want when I really didn’t know what I needed. Thank you Mr John Tully at the Champaign store in the wood department.

Mr. Jimmy, one of the staff members, was super helpful. He helped us with a project for our home, guided us through the choice of the appropriate tools, and was very knowledgeable.

Great prices! Good customer service! No delivery fee! Haul away of old only $25. Free instillation with small fee for hook up parts. Very satisfied!! We have bought our fridge, stove, washer, and dryer from home depot and definitely will be back!

This is like the best Home Depot I've ever been to! Everybody was very nice, knowledgeable and efficient. From me pick ing out the product all the way through me getting checked out.Jeff and Kathy especially helped me with my needs. I've had a rough time moving back to Illinois and with experiences like this, makes me feel happy to be back home.

Went in needing a new dryer and possible washer. After search local scratch and dent products we decided to go new. And employee not in his department offered us help when department employee was busy with others. Her was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. He did not try to up sale us but helped us with our purchase. After all was said and done the dryer was on a month back order. He helped us find the same product at rival store for about the same deal. I'd shop home depot every day for this kind of service even though we purchased elsewhere.

Got my veteran discount of 10%. They had every item I needed. Part of return for spring screen door, colors of painter's tape in various sizes and amounts, staple gun and staples, ice melt pet Friendly, spring curtain rods, outdoor rolls of artificial grass, cleaner/polish for wood furniture, indoor and outdoor mats to protect floors from wet weather, inexpensive storage tub for seasonal decor, window plastic to prevent cold air from entering windows. Etc, etc

Every time I go there I get a tremendous amount of help. Like just recently I was there and a worker named Ivan helped me from start to finish pick out the best products for my product and then cut the wood exactly how I wanted it. People here truly care about your home proctct and want to help you buy the things you need to make it happen! No wander why my dad loves the Home Depot so much!

Chris S. and Pedro were so helpful tonight. My fiancé purchased Traeger smoker, and Chris was very knowledgeable of all of the models in stock while helping guide us through our purchase. Once we got to the parking lot we realized it would not fit in our truck. Pedro graciously assisted us with taking the legs off and making sure it fit. They were simply amazing.

Alex was incredibly helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. He walked me through the various products needed for cleaning and sealing my deck and gave me tips for how to apply them. Definitely saved me a lot of time and made me feel confident about this project!

I have had a lot of great experiences and customer service here. They even custom ordered a product for me and didn't charge the extra "pallet fee" that many hardware stores wouldn't typically do. My favorite part about home depot is that it will tell you the specific isle and bin number online, making it quick and efficient to find things in the store.

I go to this location for almost all of my home repair needs. Never a a problem worse than just some long lines. I am writing this review because I had a particular good experience getting some advice from Tom in the plumbing section. He know what I needed to get the job done and gave honest advice.

I can assure others champaign home depot service is above and beyond the champaign lowes. After being a dedicated lowes customer for decades, I have now become a dedicated home depot customer.
H.D. staff are polite, professional and helpful. Delivery is timely and they keep you informed of your delivery and then stick to the schedule they have given you. Wish I would have purchased my dishwasher there.
