NOLA's Rock Bar

This is a very nice bar in a very nice neighborhood. The drinks are strong and the staff is amazing.

As a recent transplant from a city where I positively haunted the local brewery, Blackbird seems a gem. The beer selection and pricing are good, the frequent live music (often without a cover!) is a great draw, and the patio is wonderful for group outings due to the abundance of games and ample seating.

The highlight of my experiences here, however, is the congeniality and attentiveness of the bar staff. After just a few visits, two of the regular bartenders knew my face and one even knew my typical order. Whenever I come here for a drink and some entertainment, I find that I never feel neglected, and always have a wonderful time.

Great cocktails and great prices. Dart board and Jenga are in great condition. Cool atmosphere inside and the dj played good music

Comfy bar. They have a nice beer selection and decent prices. You'll most definitely find a beer you like. On tap they have a varied selection and none of their beers tasted old. I'm guessing they clean their tap lines fairly regularly. They have Monellos pizza! Make sure they cook it all the way through though. Just ask em to cook it crispy or warm it up again if it's cool. They'll do it without a problem. Great service.

love their big patio out back, with ping pong and big connect 4 games to play. lots of fun. always good music and their drinks aren't too pricy....although i wish they had specials for a struggling college girl like me.

Fabulous establishment!! Staff is friendly and welcoming. Food was great and so were the drinks!!! Can't wait to go back.

As I sit back and reflect on the beautiful moments of friendship in my life, one word remains seared into my memory: Blackbird. From the moment I walked into this fine establishment, I knew that I was home. Jazz music fills the lobby and resonates in my heart, and cheap drinks ensure that connections are made as smoothly as the Nile on a windless Summer's day. I carry Blackbird with me, now and forever.

Nolas is a cute little gem. Always drink specials and they're definitely heavy headed with the pours. The djs sometimes are a hit or miss. They don't have a full kitchen but what they serve is decent. I think if they ever get a full kitchen and regular lit dj they well be A1 🤞🏾

Had a girls night out and it was the first time visiting. The drinks are on point and the finger foods are tasty. The staff is friendly and the environment is welcoming. I found my new spot.

Nola’s Rock Bar is a great place to be! The menu is delicious, and the hurricanes are delightful! The bartenders are amazing. Pam does a fantastic job running the bar!

Best rockin' dive in C/U with awesome weekly CU Comedy open mic nights and friendly staff!

Favorite DT Urbana spot, good Manolos pizza on deck, along with LA style options, themed nights. And a very hard working and fun staff!

Great spot for live music and karaoke on Monday nights from 8 to midnight really friendly staff not many food choices but still good and drinks are great too

Wonderful place! Upbeat atmosphere. Live music! Drink specials. Plenty of parking down around the corner.
