I’m a young girl and I went in after I popped a hole in the side of one of my tires, I decided to get 4 new ones and was quoted 850 for four new tires, labor, alignment and balance, which is quite fair, I received an itemized bill when I was charge and the total was actually less @ $828. I went in on a Thursday afternoon was quickly attended too and given a price estimate, was told to come back Monday morning and I’d get my car back the same day. I did such and brought my car in around 11 and got a call around @3:30. Every one I talked to was very nice including a younger guy and two older men. labour is around 110 per hour which shocked me but in a good sense like maybe I should fix cars. To be honest I’m very happy and when I got my car was nothing was wrong actually better no more wheel vibration and quieter. Thanks guys I’m very happy:) I would def come here again

Drew and Scott are awesome guys! I've brought my Nissan Versa here multiple times (it's old and used, haha), and they've sorted out my car troubles every time. Plus, they're honest.

I had another car that had transmission troubles, and rather than telling me to get it repaired here, they told me to take it to the dealership and get it warrantied to save me the cost of repairs!

And every time they've worked on an issue, they walk me through what this issue was, how they repaired it, and what to watch out for in the future, keeping me informed. No part of the process was hidden or obscured.

I am so lucky to have found Dyno Tune and Drew! The customer service has been above and beyond. As a girl, its hard to find a trustworthy, professional mechanic. Not only have they been trustworthy, but they’re also very fairly priced. I know when my car is having issues, they will do their best to get me in. They will also explain the issues clearly, without talking down to you and educate you on why the issue is happening! Its not just “heres the problem and the estimate.” They also obviously really care about their job, and want to help you. I appreciate all the hard work, and hours Drew has put into my car. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for mechanic who truly cares about their work, and getting your life back on track. Very nice and professional. Needed some standard work done (brake change, coolant flush, brake flush) and they had some of the best prices. They even advised that the brake flush was unnecessary after a simple moisture test — always good when your mechanic tries to save you money. Would recommend!

I had a great experience with Dyno-tune! I had issues with my car starting. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and had my car by Thursday! I was soo happy! I really felt they were really on top of it and made sure I had my car back in no time! Its starting perfectly and runs great! I highly recommend!

Went in for the engine mount replacement + rattling noise diagnosis, all fixed now, super professional. They are the best!

Had an interesting starting issue with my truck. I had done a good amount of research on the issue and found out that it was a known issue with my truck. The team at Dyno-Tune was able to diagnose and confirm my thoughts after a little research and a quick reset. When I called the dealership, they would not even listen or converse with me about it. Just wanted to have me come in to pay their $155 diagnostic fee (which would not have shown up as I have taken it in a few times). You would think a dealership would know of the KNOWN issue, but they did not call. I would highly recommend Scott and the team!

Scott came highly recommended to me, and I am thankful for the advice to go to Dyno-Tune. Our Toyota Corolla was in desperate need of repair and was unsafe to drive. While the car was in Scott's care, I rented a car to ferry my mother to her health appointments out of town. It was fixed within a week, as promised, and dare I say that it now runs more smoothly and efficiently than the rental! It was costly AND it was worth every single dime and more importantly, our safety and others who share the road. Scott is very professional, friendly, and will give you an honest feedback/explanation on repairs needed. I will definitely return to his shop for future repairs, because he knows his stuff! When you find a stellar mechanic, you keep him.

Dyno Tune was extremely helpful and fair when pricing my broken window regulator!

I highly recommend this auto shop. Scott is sincere and truthful. I thought my front caliper was sticking, but he told me that there was no unusual wear and tear on my rotor and brake, and he even could not replicate what I noticed when I was driving. He let me drive, and he even spent time driving with me without any charge to ensure that the problem I experienced was not there anymore or to convince me that he could not replicate the issue. And the good news is that I could not replicate what I noticed three days ago. He told me just to come back when I experienced it again.

Scott and his team of talented mechanics are fast, accurate and competent. We are happy with Dyno Tune. Our Nissan is also, as well as our puppy who loves the walks to and from there when we drop off or pick up the car. We value having such a good and friendly car repair shop in our neighborhood, and we recommend their services to everyone.

This is by far the best shop I have been to on years. I have been through so many different shops & mechanics over the last decade.. I've had people lie to me about what is wrong with my car, over charge me, I have paid for services that was never actually fixed, I have had people get over on me & so on & so forth.. it got to a point where I just let my car go years without being fixed & the issues just accumulated over the years... But luckily I heard about this place & was told to go there & I have been twice now & they have fixed the issues both times without a problem.. this place is trustworthy & has Great work ethics.. I will keep returning so I can get all the issues fixed on my car.. one appointment at at time lol

I cannot express how impressed I am with Dyno Tune. Over the last 3 years I've gone to them for things ranging from routine oil changes to "help, my car won't start". The mechanics are knowledgeable, friendly, and transparent in their procedures. Every time I've brought my vehicle in for a non-routine issue they've contacted me multiple times throughout the process to give detailed explanations of the problem and how much it will cost to continue diagnostics/repairs. I've never had a bad experience!

We've been taking our cars to Dyno-Tune for about 8 years, and Randy and Scott have always done solid work at a fair price.

UPDATE: OK, let's make that 13 years, servicing four different vehicles between me and my wife... and let's also give an additional shout-out to Drew, who joined the team sometime after my original review and is another equally helpful and professional presence in the shop. We started going to Dyno-Tune when we first moved to CU mostly because we lived right down the street. Now we live almost as far out on the opposite side of Champaign as you can get, but still make the drive over to Dyno-Tune for all repairs and maintenance. I can't say enough good things about their honesty, prices, and quality of work.

Scott and Randy are hard working and high quality mechanics. As an Illinois grad student they have taken care of my car the last two years and completed a brake job, alternator replacement, and changed my tires. They have prices below the national average and are very efficient servicing vehicles. I recommend this shop to my family and friends

Came into town just as my car started making a disturbing grinding noise and I couldn’t figure out what was making it. It’s a 2005 and I know it’s probably time for some costly repairs soon… in the mean time, I needed to figure out if it was safe to drive the 150+ miles home, so I called them up and the next appointment available was almost a week away. The gentleman who took my call said to bring it by anyhow and he could give it a listen and point me in the right direction, so I did fearing that I would be stuck here for some indeterminate amount of time and would be out a bunch of money.
Well, he turned it on, decided to put it on the lift, and found that one of the bolts holding my heat shield over my gas tank had rusted and broken off, but my car is safe to drive home.
Naturally, I was thrilled not to be stranded, and if I’m ever visiting my friend and need car services, these guys are at the top of my list to use.

The guys here definitely know their cars and are super friendly! Was recommended by a friend and I’ll be doing the same. If you have car troubles you should come here, they’ll get it done!!
