Main Quad

A quite large park with several cute doggos 😅. Sometimes there are events, but I’d say the main beauty of this place is its view and size.

But the best quad of all universities in America.

Beautiful courtyard and nearby architecture

Not much to review here, but this place is so vibrant! There is always something going on, especially during the summer/fall. They have the summer quad cinema series (every Thursday at 9 pm). Its a fun place to chill, eat, work, enjoy the weather and basically take a break from hectic work/studying schedule. This definitely is my favorite place (during the summer when its not too busy) at UIUC.

Simply put, the Main Quad is a fan-favorite for students, alumni, and locals. Highly recommend relaxing here during spring, summer, and autumn seasons! The summer season is more relaxed, as most students are home on break.

It's exactly how you'd expect a college's quad to look. When the weather is nice, there are always people playing frisbee, walking their dogs, and laying in hammocks.

Spent many a beautiful day between classes (and skipped some classes too) with friends - just chillin with some great people watching and conversation. Whatever day it was during the week, there was always someone I knew hanging out on the quad. We had a sense on community there, always welcoming, no matter who you were or what you were about.

Of all the quads this one takes the cake. Main quad will always have a special place in my heart. Quad/10. Here you can learn, pee, whatever you want. You name it. This place has it all. Also there's a 24/7 camera watching you on it from Foellinger. One time I saw a lightsaber fight on it. Good vibes. Kill it on the quad.

Great place to hangout with friends and play frisbee or various other games. Always filled with people but still remains in great condition. The main quad is also a good place to study on a warm summer's day.

Great place to walk, lay out in the sun, play Frisbee, eat a meal. It's the center of the university so it's about 5 minutes from anything you need. There are still some large trees for shade.

There's not much to review here. It's super nice to hang and chill and relax on the grass when the sun is out. There is a lot of activity going on when it's the warmer months. There's a lot of space for frisbee or football. And there's good spots for hammocks.
