What a lovely peaceful spot with a fabulous selection of books. I love all the upstairs rooms!

A wonderful used book store with a large and varied selection. From the outside the shop looks small but it has an upstairs as well. Rooms focused on various themes. I found several great business books and some hobby books. I encourage anyone who likes used bookstores to stop by. It has that used bookstore feeling and smell that gets an old guy like me ready to spend all day looking through titles.

We enjoy searching for treasures at Jane Addams Book Shop. It is a lovely way to spend a leisurely weekend morning, and there is something to be found for everyone!

Really amazing bookstore with every book you could want. They range from biographies to puzzle books. I'm honestly surprised the third floor is still standing with all of the books! Store is very well organized and most books are more than 50% off retail price. I purchased a nice puzzle and Scrabble dictionary. Really beautiful vintage books too of good quality.

Wonderful selection in a very cozy shop. Prices are fair and the staff is helpful and courteous. I'll be getting my books here more often.

They have a great selection of used books. The store is well organized and sections are labeled. It's an interesting building with 3 floors and several rooms. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is very helpful.

I didn't expect to visit a bookstore during my visit with my son and his family but I'm glad he suggested it! I had a great time looking through the books on sale and I even bought a few! I really enjoyed my visit to this shop.

Jane Addams is an excellent used book store with a wide selection.

This is what used bookstores should be like: the old book smell, three stories, creaky stairs, sizable sections for all conceivable topics, reading nooks. Delightful blend of old and new books. My kids found plenty to interest them in the sizable second floor loft dedicated to kids’ books. Religion section was adequate and an interesting blend of old and newer books, if a little light on commentaries and such.

It had a lot of rooms and was fun to wander through.

Whatever books you're looking for chances are they have it or they can get it.

The store atmosphere is wonderful filled to the brim with all sorts of books. I ended up picking up an anthology of 90s feminist essays and a puzzle (at a great price). The clerk was really friendly and helped me place an order for a book they didn't have in stock. Really happy to support a small business like Jane Addams Book Store.

Great selection, nice staff, great prices, cool building, this is totally what I think of and what I want in a used bookstore. Fantastic. Only issue is parking--because of where it's located you're going to have to park a block or two away or get dropped off. Which, ok, I'll cope, it's not a deal breaker. The other sterling qualities of the place make it worth it. I'm glad I live close, I'll be going back often.

This is the kind of bookstore I could get lost in for an entire day if I had time. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a large used book store organized as well as this one. The third floor surprised me with how large it is. If you enjoy browsing through a large selection, including older used books, I highly recommend this bookstore

3 stories for winding rooms and nooks and crannies and creaky stairs. Good selection, and you get used books for appropriate prices. Always find something new and that I want. I take friends and dates here as an experience, because every single one of them I have has loved it and wants to go back. Feels like a real bookstore with towering shelves and overflowing stock.
