Nice atmosphere. Great pizza. I'm normally not into thick crust. Garcia topping and crust were definitely delicious! 😋 We will be back for sure.

The owner was beyond hospitable, accommodating, and friendly. We had brought in a larger Group last minute a little after the Lunch Hour and he was so calm and flexible with meeting our needs. The outside of the restaurant does not match the service we received; which was EXCELLENT! Always nice to find other kind Humans in the world.

I ordered cheese and pepperoni slices with breadsticks. The price was a bit more than it added up to but our food was good. I really liked how sweet the bread was. The pepperonis was under the cheese. Overall recommend especially if you want to support local businesses.

The best pizza ever. Great dough makes me addicted to the taste of the pan pizza. I and my husband have to eat twice a week at least. I am so thankful for this pizza place staying open so we can enjoy this pizza at home. The picture is of our favorite custom slice (pineapple, pepperoni, and jalapeno).

There will never be another Garcia's. I step inside, and I am a kid again. Can beat the service either.

A Champaign classic. Sweet crust with just the right amount of crunch. Great sauce. Both round pizzas and rectangle slices!

They may not have the fastest slice in town, but the turnaround time is still good and it's delicious, with an absolutely wonderful crust. I moved away from this side of town 15 years ago; recently returning, and I have found that the pizza has gotten better after a bit of a downfall in the late '00s.

The salad is above par, with green peppers, mushroom, etc instead of just some iceberg lettuce. The cookies are soft and chewy, next time,I might see if they can run them through the oven a bit too!

The bread sticks are great, not all drippy with butter, a nice, almost crunchy exterior with a very soft center.

The Gutbuster is still the go-to option with a good amount of cheese and a nice heaping of toppings.

If you're there for lunch, give the baby pan pizza a go as well, I still prefer the regular pan pizza, but it was good and cheesy.

The combos are decent value and I find it quite filling.

Every time I pass through this area I stopped by Garcia's to get a slice. Reminds me so much of the '80s when they were in Northwoods Mall in Peoria. This is the last remaining restaurant in the chain that was all over Central Illinois 20 plus years ago... Yes there's another one in Decatur but it's not the same ownership. Love that they have the Garcia's van in the parking lot that used to chase their hot air balloon. The inside of the restaurant has a very classic Garcia's feel.

Great service and excellent pizza. Can't beat the price for a huge pan pizza slice, bread sticks, and a drink for $8. Chatted briefly with one of the owners about Garcia's history. I used to go their often in the late 80's early 90's when by siblings attended the University of Illinois.

Super good! The service was great, the pizza might have been some of the best I've ever had, and the people who worked there were really sweet. It was very clean, and the atmosphere was very cozy.

The tastiest Illini tradition: pizza in a pan from the Flying Tomatoes! Go for the gutbuster, thick.

Great pizza, great atmosphere. Got there at 8 or after, with a group of 5 guys, my airsoft team. We're from mid Missouri, we love finding little pizza shops like this. One guy was running the whole show. He was spot on with our orders, we didn't wait terribly long and we honestly weren't bothered if it did. pizza was perfect. Bread sticks good too! Wish I would've got his name. Try this place!

The gut buster heavyweight no union should be on a food TV show. It is arguably the the original Pizza pie. It is literally a pie consisting of the most delicious pizza and ingredients imaginable.

This place, like the owners, is old school cool. Great pizza, made with love. Nothing quite like it anywhere else. Quality ingredients throughout. The original crust is fantastic, but the whole wheat crust is even better. Possibly the best spinach and bacon salad on the planet.

Any time we go through or around Champaign a pick up from Garcia's is a must since they abandoned Bloomington normal decades ago (except for the couple years they came back to downtown Bloomington). A local favorite for many the large deep dish take out was stellar as usual, and individual gut busters just as remembered. Inside of the restaurant leaves a little to be desired, very dated, slightly run down, dead plants and not very clean. But the pizza is still on point and that's what counts! C- on atmosphere, A+ on the food.

It seems people in town either love or hate Garcia's, but I'm definitely in the former category. Been eating Garcia's Pizza since I was a kid and personally, I think it's the best pizza in Chambana!

Suggest ordering a whole pizza because of how it is made and is like how the old Garcia's spots on campus used to be in the late 80s. Still great!
