Each time I dine at LS, I’m incredibly impressed that we have this gem nearby. The quality is what you would expect in the city…just top notch. My friends and I enjoy getting different dishes so we can try everything. The cocktails are incredible too. Highly recommend for date night, special occasion or to hang in the bar with friends. Don’t miss out on the amazing desserts too!

This is THE place! We went to celebrate our anniversary and had one of the best nights out in a while. Chef John was wonderful! We had the chef's tasting which was 3 courses. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful it all was. The sorbet was one of the best I've had, and I don't normally like dessert! Very refreshing. Overall a wonderful evening. Thank you to all the friendly staff for taking great care of us.

Wow! What a fantastic place serving excellent food with great service. We enjoyed the rack of pork and the bone in ribeye. It’s located in a small town outside of Bloomington but worth the trip. Music was a tad loud, but I loved the tunes.

Everything we ate and drank was absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional and the restaurant was very inviting and comfortable. The only negative thing I can say is there was a sizable group of bones left in my trout. It happens, we will definitely be back!

A very nice place. It reminded me of some restaurants in New Orleans that are in old houses. For dinner, I had the half grilled chicken, which was done very well. I followed with a cake made with dark chocolate. It was also very good and actually quite light. Since their menu changes seasonality, I look forward to seeing what is next.

If you’re looking for an unique dining experience, look no further! Lexington Social combines high-quality ingredients, talented staff, and a retro, post-modern environment wrapped up in a menu that changes often, and isn’t overwhelming...all in small town USA.
It includes an intimate, yet spacious dining room that allows private conversations to be had at the table without feeling too close to other customers, and well designed in terms of the layout. The drink menu has an unique selection of beers, wines, and cocktails that also cater to a variety of interests and taste buds. The menu contains dishes, that while unique and likely using ingredients/food you are not likely to experience anywhere in a 60+ mile radius, is diverse enough for a variety of tastes.
The desserts, all prepared homemade by the chef/owner’s mother is filled with powerful flavors that will satisfy anyone who is looking to satisfy a sweet tooth after a meal. The servers were well disciplined, attentive, and courteous. Their small-talk at the table was appropriate and catering to the needs of those in attendance. The chef and owner, made it a priority when having some down time in the kitchen to make an appearance on the floor welcoming people and asking about their experience; a friendly and nice touch for the patrons.
The restaurant itself was clean, appeared organized, and the seating was firm, yet comfortable. Pricing will likely be perceived on the high-end, but not inappropriate for the quality of food, service, and experience that you will receive, and certainly not as expensive as a similar experience in a bigger city. A perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, date night, or just to experience something new, while supporting local business and likely local farmers.
You won’t be disappointed with the experience unless you’re expecting food items that you can often get at mainstream restaurants or are wanting a “budget meal.” I highly recommend it, especially if you’re a foodie and enjoy trying new things while supporting local, small business owners, farmers, and communities.

A gem! Every item my group had from the menus was incredible. The drinks, starters, entrees, desserts, all amazing. It's a small place, so a reservation is essential. The staff is warm, funny, friendly, and willing to get customers just what they want. They support local producers! Great vegetarian options, too!

We are truly blessed to have this gem! The food is next level. The cuts from Slagel are superb, the oysters they get flown in are the best and the only time we splurge on dessert is here. The staff is an amazing team of people! Everytime we go we learn something new and are impressed. The mixologist, Luna is seriously the best!

Very good. Small menu, long alcohol list. Anything you get here is delicious. A little pricey. Great for a special occasion.

I lived the charm of this historic building. The decor is modern and the restaurant was impeccably clean. The service was great and knowledgeable. We had the berry ginger jam and biscuits, chilaquiles and biscuits and gravy. Everything was full of flavor, fresh and generous in serving size. I especially loved their salsa verde. I had the house bloody Mary, which I thought was good but I would ask to make it spicy next time because I like some kick. We also had the "Pay it Forward" and "Are We There Yet" cocktails. They have a good selection of gin and an intriguing cocktail list. The drink selection will seem to rotate depending on what can be acquired but they seem focused on introducing new and unique labels to the liquor selection. Over all, it was a great stop for brunch and worth the drive. We will definitely be back!

Had a lovely dinner at the Lexington Social for the first time recently and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The drinks menu is extensive and wonderful, the food was delicious, and I loved the atmosphere and decor. Well worth the trip if you're traveling from Bloomington-Normal or elsewhere.
My only gentle suggestion is to consider lowering the music volume. It made it difficult to carry on a conversation and I was a little hoarse by the end of the night.

The food, service, and atmosphere are absolutely amazing. We recently went for a birthday celebration and were not disappointed in the slightest. Our server (and the bartender) were spot on. Every single thing we ate was pure quality. If it sounds as if I'm raving about this place, you're right. It's that outstanding. Extremely high recommend.

Just an amazing experience. My wife took me to the Lexington Social for my birthday. I am a huge fan of raw oysters and cooked mussels, having grew up in Boston and traveling all over the world.
I can honestly say that the cooked muscles I had at the Lexington Social were the best I have ever had in my life. They were so juicy, fresh and tender. The broth was simply magnificent; we went through three orders of bread to sop it up. So so good.
As for the oysters, they were out of this world. Fresh as a daisy. The pollock main dish was so good that I debated ordering a second course to take home. The night was simply magical; one of the best birthday dinners ever. Well done Lexington Social!

We went for brunch with our 4 year old daughter. She has autism and dining out can be stressful. Our waitress was AMAZING! She brought biscuits to our daughter to keep her happy while we waited for our food…which was amazing BTW. Try the Eggs Benedict and the lemon cake is delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

What an incredible experience!! The owner John was very involved with the crowd and serving everyone. The bar manager Greg was very hospitable, accommodating, and welcoming in every aspect. We ordered everything and didn’t have a bad word about any dish. Absolutely a great experience from beginning to end, a hidden gem in a small town.
