Dedra and her staff are the best!!!! They are all great at what they do, Tapered Edges is the best place to get a great haircut and talk. I love the conversations we get into, I love going there and go out of my way to go to this shop, because of the atmosphere, totally family friendly, they are quick to get you in sit you down and actually listen to what exactly you want in a style. I actually go to Mike for my haircut and he is phenomenal!!! I always travel overseas for my job and Mike is very accommodating if I have to get in on short notice. You guys are the best!!!! I would totally recommend getting your haircut from tapered edges

The staff here are amazing. My son had some major anxiety about getting his hair cut, and the staff here not only listened to everything my son said but made suggestions and helped guide him to what he wanted. 10/10 would recommend.

If you ever need a beard trim, look no further than Tapered Edges!! Michael went above and beyond, shaped my beard to perfection and will be the only one trimming my beard in the state of Illinois moving forward. Thanks Michael - Flawless victory!!!

Been going for years and first time I had a cut by Deidre. She took the time to cut it as I suggested and to suggest anti hair thinning shampoo that she uses and thought could help. And she didn’t sell it or try selling me anything else. I’ll be back.

Given that I’m a mother, I haven't actually had my hair cut at Tapered Edge. However, I have taken my son there consistently for years and years. We will go nowhere else! Deidra and Michael are professional, knowledgeable, but most of all, down-to-earth, personable people. I sat waiting through so many of my son’s haircuts, and you can’t fake the vibe; it’s chill. But most importantly, they are both beyond skilled at what they do. If only they cut women! ;)

Whole process from booking the appointment to the haircut was super easy. Dedra did an awesome job and even recommended something different that turned out awesome! Will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience! Dedra is the best! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted without me explaining what I wanted. Great place, they are always booked a day or two out but it should only show they have people coming back. Dedra, mickey and the other guy with good music taste make a great team and do quality work together cutting my hair. I've tried them all and never had a bad haircut or fade.

First time at this nice, clean shop where I met Mikey and Micky. Both were friendly, welcoming and professional. Micky cut my hair and did a great job. He listens well and sincerely wants the customer to get what they want. I highly recommend Tapered Edges !

This place is great. Their prices are low, while the quality is high. It's a very cozy space that fills up quickly, so your best bet is to make an appointment through their website - which is super easy and convenient. I think they did a great job with my hair! So happy to have found a place in the area that matched the quality I've experienced in Chicago. Thank you!

Michael is amazing. I can't say how relieved I am to find a barber that doesn't spend more time on their phone than cutting hair. On top of that, he's super professional and very skilled. I'm so glad I found this place.

Courtney did a phenomal job. I've been to other places in the area and she was the only one to get a properly tapered fade right on the first try. Great attention to detail and the price can't be beat. Can't recommend her enough.
