Algonquin Police Department

Today My car ran out of gas in the middle of the woods at Algonquin road. It was around 8:30 pm. I will like to give thanks to the Two police officers who helped me out and make sure I was safe. They put enough gas into my tank to get to the gas station. And one of them guarded me to the gas stations. Thank you for all you do. You were my heroes, And I could not
thank you enough. I am thankful and I appreciate you very much. God bless you all.

Somebody called the cops on us even though we didn’t do anything. But the police officers who came we’re extremely nice. 10 out of ten

Last evening traffic was stopped by lights from storm. Backed up from 31 to Barrington. Officers sitting in their cars, waiting to catch speeders, blaming electric company. Not one officer to get out and direct traffic. Hard to get good help

Telling businesses to not accept expired IDs even though the state has extended expiation date on all DL and state IDs thru 6/2022. Guess Algonquin dictates state law now.

Not willing to help animal life in the middle of the road. Asked for a different number to call as they seemed like they didn’t care. They didn’t bother giving me a different number because they didn’t seem like it a big enough deal. I’m really upset.

Petty meter readers. Might be too busy writing that $10.00 citation to see the real crime when it happens. But hey what ever, at least the cars look good when one can see them.
