Outstanding Meat Market! I came after I read of the large selection of bratwurst. Wow! They did not disappoint. So incredibly delicious. I had a chance to look around, seems there are lots of things there that I want. I will be back

They never disappoint. Great meat always. Friendly neighborhood shop. Have wine tastings and awards customers a prize when you spend a certain amount $$. Nice little token for loyalty. Great weekly savings on specials. Deliciously Sandwiches.

This place does absolutely everything right. From the top quality of meats, to genuine customer service, to a nice variety of items in stock. We drive 25 mins from our house in to come here every weekend because it is so good.

The BEST PLACE. Everything here is amazing. Great deli options, service counter, and layout is very efficient. Everything I eat here, I love. Meat prices are very great value and fantastic quality.

Good grief, the lobster bisque. It should come with a warning: this soup is so good that you may never get to the sandwich.

Great deli, great meats, great soups. You really cannot go wrong. Don’t forget to snag some crab-stuffed mushrooms by the register.

The only butcher in Lake County that advertise their prices and specials. And the quality of beef, burgers, brats are top notch. Along with a fantastic specialty store and deli. We need u to open a location about 20 miles North East!!

We shopped here for the first time last week. We purchased two filets for New Years Day dinner. We will be back!!! The filets were the best.

I love this place! The selection of meat and fish is better than any local grocery store. If you want good sandwiches, the deli counter has some real good options.

This is a local gem. How lucky we are to have a place like this to get high quality meat and groceries.
Their prices are fair (their sales are really good), the quality is unquestionably high, the service is quick and friendly, and their rewards program is pretty good.
So glad my parents recommended this place, it truly is amazing.

Hands down the best butcher in the northwest suburbs. My go to spot for quality steaks and burgers. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of craft beer and fine wines as well. And to top it all off there's a deli counter making fresh sandwiches. Highly recommend you stop in here and check it out.

Now that the Hofbräuhaus in Rosemont is closed I had no choice but to make my own 'Schweinshaxe'!
Shout out to Butcher on the Block for providing me with stunning pork hocks/knuckles to make one of my favorite German dishes.
It was special order but so uncomplicated and fast, all thumbs up!!
And as you can see, it turned out amazing... 🤤

Well orginized from fresh cuts to deli with carryout sandwhich, corner displays of all the fixings especially the Idaho potato bin. There is a craft beer shelves and competitive display of wine. Staff was especially helpful for questions from those who have the name of a cut, menu or just in this time try something beyound beef patty. Health safety feature in place complement existing over all quality. Second visit and found this is no one trick pony or flying pig

First time using Butcher on the Block for a BBQ and it definitely will not be the last. The quality and taste of the bratwurst and brisket/short rib burgers was unsurpassed! The deli salads were also of the highest quality. Everybody raved about how terrific everything tasted! Customer service from the ordering process to the picking up the food was flawless. Can’t wait to host my next gathering with BOTB food on the menu!

Only good things to say about this place! I called looking for Portuguese breakfast sausage and they didn't have it, SO THEY LOOKED UP A RECIPE AND MADE IT SPECIAL FOR ME! HOW COOL IS THAT!? Thanks for going above and beyond! They called to double check it was the exact way I expected it to be and it was! Once we cooked it, it tasted awesome- 3 pounds went quick! Put it on the menu! Love everything you guys are doing!

Great staff and the meat here is always way better than the chain grocery stores.

Just visited for the first time and picked up a ribeye and the Philly cheese steak brats. Both were absolutely incredible. Awesome atmosphere and great service - I’ll be back often!

Hands down the best sausages, pork and steaks I've ever bought! The customer service is great everyone is always nice and friendly.

Service was so fast! We've gone a few times and its always been great. We go for the flavored brats. The selection is "something for everyone" style. I was looking over at the other case and they have the best looking cuts of steak and even the infamous Tomahawks as well!! Their prices are fair too. They have so many other things aside from meats so make your way in and check them out.

By far the best butcher in the area for what I like. I am not a filet guy unless it’s my own Ruths Chris in the oontz cast iron at 750. Really good unique and delicious cuts for Brazilian, Table top Korean, and I also love the $1 sliders! Fantastic well done butcher on the block.

The pic is their short ribs cooked @250 for 5.5 hours on electric smoker with mesquite-EVOO, Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder. Fantastic quality meats.
