Excellent location of this nice pizza chain. I formerly stopped here when on business day-trips to Peoria. Have loved the Monical's thin crust pizza and simple tossed salads since going to the Champaign location decades ago. The simple salads (lettuce, shredded cheese and carrots) are very tasty for those of us who don't care for veggies.

Passing through on a quiet Monday I was on a quest for authentic pizza & snacks and found it!
Their specialty Italian is exactly the pizza I dream about. I didn't know what a pepperoncini was, but now I know it's a heavenly addition to olives, mushrooms, and onions on pizza. Mozzarella sticks we're delicious and crispy.
A spacious dining room has room for one more; perfect for big families or friends. The front dining room is cosy and decorated in all things El Paso, Illinois and Monical history.

Came in 10 minutes before close, the lady working was so very nice! The pizza was delicious, and the service was excellent. They made the wrong size pizza so they made us an extra one for free. We are from mn on a trip but if we pass by here on our way back I would definitely stop by again.

We ate at Monical’s after shopping at the antique store across the street. Thin crust pizza was good, the kids loved it! Our waitress was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. We would definitely go back.

Very tasty subs. I had the Buffalo chicken sub and the wife had the Turkey BLT. Both were good. Especially liked the sweet roll sob bread

Flavorful pizza and family restaurant atmosphere. A Central Illinois speciality and popular favorite. A little pricier than some pizza places, but many love their thin crust and delicious Italian seasoning.

Great food and great service! The lunch buffet during the week is a great deal. The garlic cheese bread is a great choice as well!
