Hampton Inn Bloomington-West

For a budget friendly hotel, this hotel was clean. The rooms are showing some signs of age (like our bathroom door wouldn't stay open without the use of the garbage can) BUT I will say that this staff was so friendly and above and beyond with customer service. Breakfast service was prompt and attentive to detail..the employee hustled at the just 7am hour! The wait for the raffle machine was about 15 minutes but everything was was hot, filled and ready to go. Would definitely stay again with the proximity to ISU and the service. Thank you!

Booked a room to celebrate our little girl's birthday, who wanted a little pool party. Teresa and Andrea were wonderful and accommodating on her special day. Pool was the perfect size. Room was clean, location was convenient as well.

Looks like this place was remodeled recently. Rooms were clean and bright. Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't not use the pool, but the area looked nice. Breakfast was great, plenty of options and the area was clean. This hotel was dog friendly and had a nice area to walk the dog. Bags were supplied in the area for the dogs. Plenty of places to eat in the area and the hotel was close to the university.

We had a great experience! The room was very clean and nice. Teresa at the front desk was so nice.

A good Hampton inn. The rooms are bright and seem well maintained. The breakfast offerings are typical but nothing to get excited about (don't worry kids they have a waffle maker). The pool does not seem to be heated. The gym has free weights, treadmills and bikes. I stayed here for business and would repeat.

This was our 4th Hilton hotel and 3rd Hampton Inn on this 8 night vacation. As with all of the Hampton Inns we stayed in, this one was super! The staff greeted us with smiles and even greeted our pup upon arrival. I appreciate that all of the Hampton Inns we researched not only allowed, but welcomed our dog. Traveling from Wisconsin to Dallas, TX and back, this was appreciated. The room was spacious for an average double queen room, the bathroom large and the entire facility was clean and inviting. Breakfast was plentiful and warm and hit the spot before heading out for a day of softball. There was a Steak and Shake right next to the facility, and several more just minutes from the property! This was the only Hampton Inn that we stayed at that didn't have the large pump soaps, lotions, shampoo, and conditioner. I was running low on all of these things and didn't bother buying more because of this. I was bummed that they didn't have that. However, they did provide the small little bottles. I was just spoiled. Thank you Hampton Inn and all of your staff from 2pm 4/1 to 9am 4/2!

We were upgraded to a bigger room which was a nice perk for being a Hilton honors member & perhaps due to the hotel was not full. My pups definitely enjoyed the extra space to run around after being couped up in a car all day. Beds were comfy & room was clean.

Hotel is great but the staff is incredible!!!
Paige & Alexis went above and beyond to help us through a few hiccups. Lobby renovations and record high temperatures of close to 109 did not stop these ladies (and other staff members) from being kind, and professional. I can not speak highly enough of our experience. BRAVO to whomever does the hiring for this location, you nailed it!

We had 1 room with a family of 6 (2 queen beds with a sofa bed) and the room was very spacious and clean. Great and friendly staff, they have an awesome pool that the kids really enjoyed. The location of the hotel is great...stores, restaurants, and the zoo all near by. Definitely would recommend.

Great stay - with a roomy suite for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. The hotel was fully booked but we couldn't even tell because everything ran so smoothly.

We loved having access to the heated, indoor pool.

I'd love if they'd add baby beds/pack & plays to their options for families, but we made it work.

The staff was very helpful & accommodating throughout the stay. I'm an early riser & was thrilled that there was fresh coffee in the lobby at 4:30am. Rooms were clean & the breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and quiet! Super comfortable beds. Breakfast was great (mini omelet was delicious) and good coffee. All of the staff members were so friendly too!

Nice hotel. Clean rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. The pool was great for our kids. They had a coffee bar out all day with various creamers that was very good. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast but the pastries were above average. Very friendly staff went above and beyond whenever possible.

Great location with many amenities close by. The property and rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The bonus was the amazing staff!!

On a road trip with a rental. Breakfast was ready even early for us at 5:50am. This allowed us to get on the road early. Also had some ice and snow on the rental car, appreciated the window scrapper we could borrow to not have to wait for the heater to clean the windows.

We have been traveling for treatments of health conditions I have and bloomington is our half way point. This was our 3rd trip and every time we have picked a different hotel because we were never satisfied. This stay at Hampton inn was satisfactory and we will be returning on our next trip through. It is very clean, there were no stains or odors. The only thing that made me question cleanliness was some hair and a razor cap on the bathroom floor behind the open door. The hotel seems to be taking covid cleaning seriously. We had a sticker sealing our door to show no one had been inside since it was cleaned and the remote for the t.v. was cleaned and sealed in a plastic bag. Staff wore masks. They had covid breakfast and the pool was open with restrictions. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature stayed comfortable. The room design felt modern compared to the other places we've stayed, as if it has been updated not long ago. The staff was friendly. There wasn't a lot of options of tv channels for our 4 year old to watch, but there were a couple channels. The fridge was a good size. I recommend.

This is a really nice hotel for the cheaper price each night. I liked that there was a cold indoor pool, but I didn't like that there wasn't a spa. I don't know if they have a workout room, but they do have a business center. It's not a closed off business center though, so anyone walking in the front door can see what your doing. In conclusion, if you want a decent hotel for a good price, go here! You won't regret it.

Stayed here with my wife and two young kids during a cross-country road trip. Room was clean, and the rate I booked ahead of time was very affordable. Two queen beds and a pullout couch with fridge and microwave was around $100. Breakfast area was nice and clean, staff was friendly, and the pool was OK, although the concrete pool deck was extremely slippery!! I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice, clean, friendly and just a great place to spend the night ! We had a fantastic breakfast the next morning. And we were shocked at how big the room was. Definitely a good stop on our journey !

The shower nice with great water pressure. It also had a soft, comfy bed. The staff were exceptional and the breakfast was tasty! We'd gladly stay here on the future.
