Adam's Bicycle Shop

Adam was super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Not normal in the current lack of area bike shop environments. But he helps with some dialing in and hydrolic brake set up on my 24” bmx race bike that I couldn’t figure out.

I ran into a equipment malfunction on the old plank trail, called the bike shop and mentioned the situation about my malfunction. He stated that he would be closing around 4:30 and I was at 116th and old plank trail a little over three miles away. I walked the bike the distance and made it well before closing, might I add he stated that he would stick around for a few minutes after closing if need be. Overall didn't need the extra time, thanks anyway.

I had a great experience. Price was very reasonable and the turn around was only a few days. Adam was super cool and easy to work with. I’ve become programmed to think I am going to be ripped off and price gouged, but that absolutely was not the case here. It’s nice to know that kind of small local business still exists. The way my kids beat up n bikes I’m sure I will soon become a regular customer.

Super nice and friendly guy. Took my old race bike in for a tune up and possible modifications. Very knowledgeable and helped explain what could be done and what would not be a good idea for this bike. Service was quick and convenient too. Highly recommend!

Very nice family run operation. Had my son's bikes there for assembly as well as minor repairs. It's hard to find a good bicycle mechanic in the area but Adam is the one you definitely want to go to. If you're looking for a bike he's got a great selection of BMX Mountain Bikes Cruisers Electric etc. What I noticed was his prices on electric bikes are quite reasonable considering what they're going for online. Keep up the great work and we'll see you next time!

I recently used this shop to replace my wife's rear rim that had split. The gentleman at the shop was very professional and when I asked to change the cassette as well, since it had about 15 years on it, after asking a few questions regarding shifting etc., he talked me out of replacing the cassette as it may not shift any better as the chain and the cassette wear together. Would have been an easy $50-70 sale for him but clearly that was not his main goal. Too bad all places are not this honest. I had also previously called Adam's about a year ago and whoever I spoke to gave me some good info regarding an issue I was having at the time regarding a seat post shim. He could have just told me to bring the bike in and he would examine it, but instead, gave me the info needed to fix it myself. I highly recommend this shop.

After purchasing a bike from a big box store, the front wheel wasn't true. Adam could have just ordered a new wheel but instead he tightened all of the spokes, making the tire like new. He also filled the tires to the proper pressure so that I was ready to go!

My 2 kids and I came in to purchase bikes a couple weeks ago since theirs were way too small for them. Adam helped us and found the perfect bikes for my kiddos. They love their new (actually used but tuned up like new by Adam and resold) bikes with their first ever gear shifts, hand brakes and kickstands! Adam even took the time to teach them about these bike features that were new to my kids. Such excellent service! Thank you so much for helping us out!!

Adam was very friendly and helpful. He helped me pick out the right style of tires for my type of riding. His price is great and he changed 1 inner tube some new spokes and changed both my tires in one day. Other shops were going to take several sayx to do the same work. Thanks Adam

Quick and to the point: I would rate Adam's workmanship and customer service a 10/5 if I could. There is nothing better than to support a local business, other than finding one who is professional, hard-working, extremely friendly, takes the time to listen, and delivers on what they promise. Adam recently tuned up two of our bikes, completing both in less time than estimated and exceeding our expectations in terms of quality. My wife's 25 yr old Schwinn looks brand new! There is no other place I'll bring my bikes to in the future.

Woke up to find that my sons new bike had a flat..he’s leaving with his dad tomorrow for a long trip with it…Adam was able to fix it in such a short time! Thankful for a local bicycle shop. Will definitely be bringing my bike in for a tune up.
