Auer/Broshears Park

A quaint area to park yourself and enjoy a park.

Nestled along Veterans Drive in East Peoria, Auer/Broshears is a nice little park that offers the bare minimum, in terms of a park.

The park itself is nice. It has ample parking in comparison to how little the park is. The reason it is so big is due to the fact that it doubles as a court for a few basketball hoops. During my visit, the park and equipment were in great shape. The grass was freshly mowed and the area free of trash and debris.

The playground area itself is small and offers just some basics. There is a main pit area that has some swings, a jungle gym and some various other little things. Next to there are some swings in their own pit and a bench swing that is positioned for parents to sit on and watch their kids play.

Overall, it isn’t a bad little park. If you want a quietish place to bring your kids so they can be the king/queen of the park and have full access, this certain fills that role.

This park is more for littles.
