Bistro Wasabi

Bartender and staff were friendly and great. Food and drinks were amazing.. They may have one of the most amazing burgers I have ever had. Looking forward to future visits...

Bistro wasabi is one the top restaurant in town. I enjoyed the sushi boat and all the food were really great. Once you eat at this restaurant, you can't go anywhere else :) Highly recommended !

Delicious food and the outdoor seating is great! They changed our reservation to outdoor when I asked because it was too loud inside. It does get very busy and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, but the service was still really good and we didn't mind waiting a bit longer since the food is great! Highly recommend for a fun date night or get-together.

Hands down best sushi place in Chicago area. We occasionally try other spots downtown or even abroad but this place consistently outperforms any others. FRESH and delicious! None made-ahead.
Owners had Sapporo restaurant years ago in Crystal Lake, then sold to Kyoto (over by Harbor Freight) and opened Tsunami in Chicago. We were thrilled when they came back!
Godzilla roll, seared tuna, Raspberry-Chipotle shrimp, list goes on! And their martinis? Unbelievable and hand-shaken at the table. Always crowded so make reservations... not recommended for takeout. It's just not the same.

The drinks were epic. The food was delicious. So many new sounds and smells. It was a great date night. It was on the loud side. So if you are looking for quiet then it may not measure up.

One of the most amazing dining experiences of my life. Everything was perfect. Cocktails, food, atmosphere, service. I had an 8pm reservation April 25th 2023. I can’t remember my server’s name but she had mid length black hair. I hope management knows how awesome she is!

If you haven't been to bistro wasabi you've got to come.

Lot to offer great sushi but besides the sushi right next door is El Cohcino Mexican food around you can order well at bistro wasabi or go next door they are connected.

either way you'll find great stuff from bartenders waitresses hostesses to go order staff everyone is always upbeating friendly here.

I love this place it's a Fav.

Very nice atmosphere, super chic, and PHENOMENAL service - Nikki was super sweet and attentive! Sushi was delicious and out quickly. We'll be back!

Favorite sushi place to Dine in at around the Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills, Algonquin, or Huntley area. Have been here several times. Sushi & Drinks are always phenomenal. Service and Setting are always exceptional.

We love this restaurant so much, and it never disappoints. Great martinis, excellent sushi. Crab Rangoon roll is incredible.

Been here numerous times and it's always a great dinner . We enjoy our date nights here . We usually start with martinis. My husband had a dirty and I had a French both were very good. A couple next to us had a melon martini and they said it's so good unlike anywhere else . We started with 2 appetizers the Jeffrey salad and the Dynamite which is crab shrimp and scallops on top and comes served to your table with a bed of fire underneath so people turn and look . Don't need to blow it out goes out on its own. The Jeffrey salad was yummy sesame flavors and sashimi pieces so delicious. I ordered the Sashimi entree and my husband ordered the Sapporo roll and forgot the other one but it was deep fried. If you can make a reservation by calling The reserve a table on their site said no time slots were open. So I called and got a table about an hour before we got there it was a Thursday. The service excellent and food superb.

Always, and I mean ALWAYS have great time here! Service is excellent, food is wonderful,and atmosphere is phenominal! Love that you can order food and drink from El Cochino (as is co-owned by same people). We went for my birthday July 28th and Aleia our server was fantastic!!! Sandra is the best bartender too, even though was not there that time!

As well as the restaurant in a restaurant that's next door, El Chochino.

Both restaurants are impressive,
with their service as well as artful presentation & innovative dishes.
Whether you feel like Sushi or Mexican, your taste buds will be overwhelmed & the service is spot on.
The staff's demeanor makes you feel Pati's and if this it just might be one of the best places in the world' to work. Always a good vibe puts you in a good mood - better appetite .

P.S. You Have to try the Chili, Hannah's Grandma recipe, and the Pescado / Fish, tacos. Best I have ever had in my life....!
