Honestly, I think this location is great. The customer service I have gotten from each employee has been super friendly, kind, and honest. The service at this location is starting to resemble the service I get from Sweetwater, which is great! Love everything these guys and gals have done for me so far, from guitar maintenance, gear questions, product quality (used and new). Sometimes they are short-staffed, but that's something that can affect any business. Just stay patient and don't be a jerk of a customer and you'll get 5 star service! I hope this location keeps growing and improving and never goes away--super convenient to have a reliable music chain in the area.

Huge thanks to Ryan for helping me locate some gear that I really needed. When it turned out they didn't have it Ryan called around until he finally found a store that had it. Helped me out big time!

Good selection and the people that work there are kind and helpful. I like the store and have purchased many items here. I'm glad it's in the area.

I know Guitar Center sometimes gets a bad reputation for being a big box music retail store, but their employee in the drum department, Alan, just sat with me for almost an hour helping to tune up two of my snare drums that needed new heads. Excellent customer service! I will be back!

Very friendly and helpful anytime I have the need to stop in for anything.. or even to ask about something. They can usually help you out, the best they can, as far as what is/ isn't available in store and online order on site if need be. Glad we still have at least one music store left around here.. 🤟

I usually shop the Naperville store but stopped in at the Joliet store since they had the guitar in stock that I was looking for. I purchased a PRS Acoustic & the staff was SO super friendly and helpful, there was an issue with my Guitar Center card & they got the problem resolved & I was able to take my new guitar home. I got a follow up call days later (which went to voicemail) asking how I was enjoying my guitar and if I had any questions etc. I may not have answered the call but I seriously dig that type of customer service, it makes a customer feel valued. This Guitar Center will be my go to from now on.

I love this Guitar Center location. Dennis and Carlos are the absolute best. They are very personable and wonderful to work with. I could not have asked for a better experience at a music shop and I was so impressed with their positive attitudes and friendly dispositions.

I was looking for a new acoustic and wasn’t really sure what I was looking for. Niko from Joliet helped me figure out and find the perfect guitar!

Just came in and bought a new Mitchell acoustic and the employees were awesome. I know he isn't working there anymore but the old Manager Tyler was always super cool and knowledgeable. Bridgette (I apologize if I didn't use the correct spelling), The drum manager, Has been there since I started coming to Guitar Center almost a decade ago, And is always helpful. While I was in just now, We all joked around and had fun before they closed for the night and had great conversation. Will be back when I grab a new drumset later this year.

Carlos did an exceptional job helping me today with an issue I had. He went above and beyond what Guitar Center normally has their employees doing. Sometimes it can be forgotten that customer service is the only thing keeping it in business. I can always go to Reverb or Sweetwater online for what I need, so why spend the drive to Guitar Center? Well, that is customer service, and this is the only thing keeping me there. Because of Carlos and his great customer service, I will continue to shop at this location.

I just had my old guitar tuned by Jess (the Joliet Center Tech) and she did such a wonderful job. Cleaned, polished, new strings; plays and looks like NEW!!!! Thank You Jess for all your hard work!!

Guitar Center has always been my go to for all my musical instrument needs. Super friendly staff, great prices, and they price match. Definitely recommended.

Great employees here!!! They seem to be used to people just coming in n rocking out on their equipment so they are really laid back n friendly, very knowledgeable. The prices seem about same if you were going to buy the same product at a different music shop. Overall it's a fun place n clean in there. Its kinda chilly in there though so bring a sweater or something inside w you if your always freezing

David knows what he is talking about when it comes to Bass and equipment. I see him about all major purchases. If you want a great customer service experience, come on down to the Joliet branch! The management is great!

This Is the best Guitar Center I've been to because of the staff. These people who work here are great and very knowledgeable about the instruments. Customer Service was an A+. This experience was worth the 45 minute drive.

Joe was extremely helpful with an online order I placed. After the store near me was unable to fulfill my order, I saw the same guitar was at this location used. Joe answered before the store was even open. He took down my info, solved my problem, and called me back. I have the guitar I want coming to me and I'm thankful to Joe for all of his help and communication.

The stock is varied, if they don't have it in store you can order it & have it delivered at no extra cost.
The staff is extremely friendly & knowledgeable. They can offer you advice on everything from music tutors to the best venues to see a concert.
The store is always clean, you can generally hear someone trying out an instrument, it's just a great musical place and it's close to home.

Updated Visit. Had a much better experience than the past times i have been here i would say that the store has greatly improved their customer service skills. The staff were very friendly and helped me out. Great work on the improvements made here
