The brisket had lots of flavor to it and the potato medallions were definitely better than fries! Nice atmosphere and large tables made it more comfortable! Friendly staff came around and talk to us a couple times that our table. The soda was great too!

The staff were great & helpful & this macaroni is the BEST I’ve ever had in my life! loaded with meat of your choice and a small is just the right size to fill you up! The house salad was also amazing I would have visited twice in a row but they’re closed on Sundays lol

Let me start by saying: this location is great and you should give it a shot.

I ordered my meal through their online ordering platform. The site was well laid out, the item descriptions seem helpful, informative, and accurate (at least as far as the items I ordered). The checkout process was smooth as well, seamlessly blending access to both Google pay and PayPal support.

On to my order. I chose a pulled pork sandwich with honey BBQ sauce, an order of potato medallions, and some cornbread. The cornbread was moist and delicious. The addition of finely chopped jalapeño bits (obviously trimmed of webs, seeds, and inner skin) was brilliant. Plenty of flavor without using capsaicin as a star player.

The potatoes were fried golden and crispy with a center of perfectly fluffy delight. Seasoned with (presumably) a house rub, this is a side I will be coming back for.

Last but not least by any stretch of the imagination, the pulled pork sandwich. I am at a loss for words, yet not for lack of praise, but from an excess. The meat was terrifically Juicy and flavorful. The somewhat unremarkable bun served as a vessel for the meaty goodness without hiding or detracting from the experience. And the sauce: an awesome blend of sweet and savory brought out some of the best the sandwich had to offer.

Okay. Now a believer! Colleagues have been raving about this place esp. the tacos. And I know they just opened a second location in E. Peoria. But only today was able to try. Did take out which was easy and safe. Had the Cuban tacos with side of beans. Wow! Just great. Tacos had amazing flavor and the beans equally addictive. Can't wait to try other items. Great staff as well working hard.

The food is AMAZING!!! Stopped here with the gf for lunch on a Monday and it was my first time. Will definitely be returning! I had a brisket sandwich with loaded potatoes for a side and she got a pulled pork horseshoe. Both were fabulous! A little pricey, but that’s to be expected at any decent smokehouse. If it’s cheap bbq then it’s junk. Couldn’t bring myself to spend $8 on a small mac n cheese tho. Quick service, friendly staff, had a great experience! Will be back soon! I’d put this up against the other bbq joints in Peoria and as a self-proclaimed pitmaster, I give it two thumbs up!

This place is amazing! Great food for every taste along with gluten free beer! Awesome staff and superb experience overall. Real southern taste here in Peoria. And they will do catering!

I had the Brisket sandwich, and a side of fries with cheese and bacon. I am very satisfied with both. Brisket was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sandwich didn't have excessive fat, it was all meat/onions/sause. Fries were crispy, cheese was fresh. Overall, I was a happy guy. The food was worth the wait.

We tried quite a few meats and sides and they were all amazing! The brisket is the best I have had in my life and the wings were awesome as well. Try the Mac n cheese, you won’t be disappointed!

Dac's is a real gem! I've eaten there several times, and I've never been disappointed. The chicken tandoori nachos are outstanding! I've had Dac's cater lunches several times for my staff, and it has ALWAYS been a huge hit! The portions are always generous and the service is phenomenal. Keep up the great work!

Hands down best BBQ in Central Illinois. The strawberry lemonade was so good! The brisket was the best I have ever had. The portions are generous! A tad pricey but the food was 100% worth the $$. The homemade pickles that came with the sandwich were unreal. I would buy those to take home if they were for sale! If I could give 6/5 stars I would. We will definitely be back!

First timer. Went to Campus Town location for lunch.
Restaurant is located in a strip mall and looks small from the outside...this is not the case.
It's a good sized restaurant with large tables and plenty of room.

I ordered the smoked turkey club sandwich with Sante Fe slaw and sidekick had the brisket sandwich with Carolina slaw.
Both came with homemade pickles.

We decided to share each other's and give a review.
Both sandwiches were very good, the brisket perfectly smoked, tender, and moist.

However, the Turkey club was fantastic!
The flavors of this sandwich blend perfectly.
A must try.

The homemade pickles have a unique taste and are good, but are spicy!

You will not be disappointed here.

Was in the area and decided to give Dac's a try. This was the pulled pork blue cheese salad. Kept the blue cheese crumbles, added the strawberry barbeque sauce as dressing. Wow. Highly recommend..!!

My wife and I ate at Dac's Smokehouse BBQ in Peoria this past Saturday as part of our wedding anniversary celebrations.
Everything was wonderful!
We started with the Brisket egg rolls. They came to our table hot and HUGE!
Our meals were delicious!!
The meat was tender and juicy.
The fries were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
The cheesy corn was just plain TOO GOOD!!
The staff was friendly and made sure anything we needed was taken care of promptly.
We will definitely plan to go again and again!!!

Great BBQ and sides. I had a sandwich at their East Peoria location, so this time I tried their straight BBQ and wasn't disappointed. Well-smoked pulled pork and chopped brisket that isn't hidden behind a ton of sauce. Both were juicy and flavorful. The potato salad was good, but I particularly liked the jalapeno corn bread and the cheesy sweet corn.

Food was super yummy! The corn and bbq pork were fantastic. Owner was friendly and spoke with our table for a few minutes.

Dac's is amazing! I absolutely love their smoked meatloaf. The flavor is something you can't put into words! A must try!

Visiting family from out of town and they brought us here. Absolutely amazing brisket. So flavorful, juicy and tender. It didn’t even need sauce but I was recommended the strawberry sauce by Matt and it was delicious.
Matt (I believe one of the owners) was attentive and very kind. Made sure we all enjoyed our food and even offered to do the dishes 😂🤣

Hands down one of the best food joints in Morton. The servers are so nice and the atmosphere is quite inviting. Their large food and drink menu leaves you wanting to try it all. The meats are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying out Dac's Smokehouse if you're on the fence about it.

Outstanding! We were in town for a wrestling tournament and looked up local BBQ restaurants. We were lucky enough to stumble upon this gem. The BBQ was stellar and the sides were lights out. If you have the option to get the jalapeno corn bread it is a life changer. We wish you had one near St. Louis.

I've had the opportunity to visit Dac's in East Peoria twice and really enjoyed the food. The brisket was perfect and loved the potato medallions. I ordered a pound of brisket to share with family and they enjoyed the food as well. I'll be back for more!
