What more can I say then... they saved the trip. Not only was I able to rent the car one way (our original plan)... when Ravn airlines cancelled our Homer to Anchorage flight 10 min before boarding they had my back. They let me continue to use the vehicle to get to Anchorage so I could make my connecting flight to Fairbanks. They were even helpful in giving us instructions on how to accomplish check in and parking quickly so we would make our flight.

As a family business ourselves I can understand the struggles. The cars may not be new (as I was told when I booked) but I can agree they are well maintained as we did well over 600 miles with no problems.

I would be glad to recommend them and I can't thank them enough for saving the day.

They are great! My truck was broken down and they got me into a car that same morning after leaving it at a repair shop. Trace was awesome and gave me excellent customer service without charging me an arm and a leg. If you need a car rental in Homer, definitely go through them!

Genuinely Amazing! I don’t know where to begin or even the proper words to use to express my gratitude towards this company and especially the owner, Trace. Wonderful customer service. Genuine care. Affordable prices. Relocating to Homer Alaska would not have been possible if it weren’t for Alaska Adventure Rentals, and Trace. I relocated from Florida. When I arrived in Homer I was exhausted. My rental was there and already set up for me. I got in the car and drove to my tiny home. They have even gone so far to take the time to educate me on when winter comes how to prepare and prep my truck. Just amazing people. They will never let you down. Thank you Trace for everything you have done.

We were in Homer for just a day and came by ferry son a Sunday most places were too far to manage on foot and the car rental was closed. I was still able to contact them and rent a car for the day with the kindest and friendliest service imaginable.

We had a great experience with Adventure Alaska. Booked a car on short turnaround as our camper van broke down unexpectedly in homer. The folks at Adventure Alaska set us up last minute, and the whole process was very easy and smooth. They even gave me a ride to my lodging after I returned the vehicle. Definitely recommend!

Trace, a very friendly person, picked us up at the ferry in Homer. He was so helpful. We drove the car to Seward, then returned it to Anchorage a few days later. When I realized at the airport that I'd lost my phone, they located it in the car and promptly mailed it back to me. I appreciate them and it's pleasant to deal with real people who care instead of a person at a counter that just does the paperwork as required. Personal service counts! Thank you, Trace.

What a wonderful owner (Trace) is. He saw us walking from airport due to limited number of Taxi's available and stopped. He let us know he could rent us a car and removed all the stress of looking for Taxi's. Honestly he gave us the freedom to do what we wanted, whenever.
In Homer we planned on using public Transportation or taxi, but with most drivers were out due to being sick. This being tourist season they were at a high demand.
I highly recommend renting from Adventure Alaska Car Rentals (Trace, one of the kindest people you will ever meet. You don't find this too often in our times) Super friendly and very helpful.

We rented a one-way rental from Anchorage to Homer and the service here was fantastic. It was really easy to contact them throughout the lead-up to our trip and they were very accommodating with our schedule even allowing us to return the car one day later then we originally planned with no extra charges. Even more impressive was the fact that on the drive to Homer an 18-wheeler kicked up a huge piece of asphalt that put a massive crack in our our windshield. Adventure Rental completely understood it was an unavoidable accident and let us return the car no questions asked. Overall this was some fantastic service! I'd definitely recommend them and plan to rent from them again when I get the chance.

Exceptionally good customer service!!! Every staff member treats you well, they address concerns, and work hard to make your rental experience an excellent one. Easy to access off the main highway. They picked us up promptly at the Homer Airport. Can’t miss the bright yellow building! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I rented a budget SUV camper van for 2.5 weeks and had a really great time. Alaska adventure car rental are 10/10! Really excellent, wonderful people. Knowledgeable and kind, at the start of my trip they gave me advice for places to explore and to help with the project I was working on, and then at the end of it, when my flight was changed to a much earlier time than they came out at 6:30am to drive me to the airport. I cannot thank them enough or recommend them more highly!

Top notch service. I've rented from them many times and have never had a complaint. Their cars are very nice and clean, and they have a model/will work with you for almost any need or budget. They're always professional, flexible, and reliable. Rented from them last Friday and we ended up needing the car longer than we first thought and they were very understanding and accommodating. Pet friendly too, just be sure and let them know in advance. Use these guys, I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Great experience. Highly recommend. These guys saved my vacation. Long story, so suffice it to say they really bent over backwards to help me and my family enjoy our time in Homer. Honest, fair, and helpful... with a great sense of humor, too. Very upfront about what to expect (what we rented was older and not exactly a pretty thing, but it was completely comfortable and reliable even going up and down some steep hills and a gravel road while we were on a scenic drive). The friendly folks at this small company were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience. They picked me up and dropped me off on each end of the deal. Honestly, if given a choice again, I'd choose to rent from these guys over any of the national chains every time. Their service and personal touch out-shined every rental experience I've ever had. If you go to Homer and need a car, go here. Even if you don't need a car, go here anyway... they're just cool people.

I have rented from Adventure multiple times. They are super helpful. One thing I like the most is that they rent pickup trucks (F-150's), which is nice to have when you are visiting Homer. They offer personal service and will pick you up at the airport when you arrive, as their office is very close. I have also gone by several times to get refills on propane and to buy packing/moving supplies. Trace and his staff are great people to work with!
