Fairfield Inn by Marriott Battle Creek

I want to clarify my post from yesterday. We had a situation that we had gotten upset over. The manager, Ms. Tracy, got with my husband and not only fixed his issue but also got his room cleaned and said next time it will definitely be cleaned when he asks for it to be cleaned. So if we have another issue we will be patient and see how they handle it before we take our anger out on a review. If you go stay there make sure you get with the manager, Ms. Tracy, so she can get on top of it and handle it. She is good at her job.

Very nice upscale hotel nice service clean hands and food as well as rooms. Runs are very nice sized and very comfortable. I absolutely love the carpet that was in my room 324! It popped out n I loved it.

So far every time I come here I get treat basically like family. They like to go swimming all year round. Plus it's a nice getaway for me and my kids.

Only reason for 4 stars was there was a smell in our room(like yogurt or cheesecake). Didn't go away even after three days. Some things in room were not cleaned either. Window was left open and a 90% drank diet coke on windsill. An old room key was on the floor next to the bed. Candy from a previous guest in dresser drawer.
The staff was wonderful and breakfast was fully stocked and good.

Very clean rooms. Awesome pool and hot tub. The lobby was very relaxing. Although I didn’t partake, the included breakfast looked amazing and had so many options. I had checked into a competitor (similar price point) that I booked online. The lobby and common areas were dirty. The room was dated, had several rips in the carpet, and had a funky smell, and to top it off, the pool area was closed for “usual repair and maintenance”. I look out the window and saw “Fairfield”. I looked up the number and called. Mark saved the day. He gave me a great rate for my room and allowed us to apply my military discount for two additional rooms for my extended family traveling with us. We moved next door and we were checked in and sitting in the hot tub 15 minutes later. Thank you Mark and Fairfield!

This is a beautiful hotel to stay in. Clean, nice, centally located to where I was. The staff was awesome. I stayed on a Tuesday night, and they helped me with my weekend stay also. I won't stay anywhere else. I

Everything about this place is better than anywhere so far we have stayed in or around battle creek

Staff was great! Very nice and courteous. The breakfast was good for a continental breakfast. Our room was nice and clean. I would stay here again.

What a great place to sleep when you are staying in Battle Creek or just passing through, as I was. This hotel is set in a quiet, beautiful and wooded neighbourhood just off the Interstate. It is clean! The staff is very friendly and helpful with answers to all of my questions.

It is an easy and quick drive into downtown Battle Creek. And there are several gas stations in the area.

nice clean place, good food, pretty cheap

Front desk was really nice and breakfast was amazing with lots of options to choose from. Room was very clean and pool was a nice size.

The hotel has had some new renovations that include brand new carpeting and flooring (on the second floor for sure), so the rooms were super clean, felt very new, smelled very new, and the service/check-in was literally no more than 2mins.

I've been to alot of hotels, and can honestly say I don't have any complaints. I know they had a leak and that's the reason for renovations, but the renovations are done well.

Clean, well maintained with pleasant staff.
Beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was well stocked, tasty and had alot of choices. Well above average for a hotel free breakfast! They even kept it up a few minutes extra for the late comers.
Would stay here again and highly recommend.

Friendly front desk was able to accommodate my request to check in 3 hours early. Room was as expected and had suitable amenities. Despite being close to I-94 the room was very quiet. Free breakfast was acceptable but the hotel was hosting some large groups, so seating for breakfast was limited. Otherwise a great stay!

This is a great hotel! The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was clean. The beds were comfortable. There was no noise from other rooms or the highway which is nearby. We have young children who love to swim and the pool was clean and very warm. There is also a nice hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was great with a lot of variety. Several restaurants and shopping options nearby. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Stayed here for a wedding with a wedding blocked off room rate. It was such a nice hotel! Very clean and comfortable beds and amenities. Close to the highway exit but no highway noise from our room (208). Didn't try the breakfast but heard that was an available option. Loved our stay!!

Very clean, accommodating and EXTREMELY nice staff. From the front desk to the cleaning ladies. Always greeted me, always asked if we needed something. Brianna is such a sweetheart and always helpful any time we came to her. Even the day we checked out, there seem to be many guest checking out or coming to her at the same time. The entire time she remained patient and made sure she did everything she could to help the guest.
We travel often for my daughter's softball tournament and this was by far our best experience with a hotel.

Best customer service ever. Sprite to front desk staff over the phone after a horrible night stay at a crime scene down the road and they provided a top floor room right away, allowing us to check in 4 hours ahead of schedule just to help us get out of that past place. Room was comfortable, quiet, spacious, and relaxing. Highly recommend!!!
