We came to hear The 1985 Band, but arrived early and grabbed some chow at the bar. The food was good, but they only had one gal working the bar and she was slammed. Hopefully the new ownership is able to staff the place better, especially on event nights.

This place is now called the Base but they have the same menu as advertised on their website. We went really early during a snow storm but the food was amazing. Pizza and Mac and cheese were amazing. Our waitress was awesome and attentive. We will definitely be back to try some other things.

Went for a Kiss tribute band show. It was a great time. The atmosphere is electric and the crowd was the perfect size. I would definitely recommend a show. Didn't get a chance to try the food but I will be back because everything looked great.

We visited after a funeral. We had a group of over 40 people with one waitress in a private room. She handled us all within one 1 1/4 hours. The food was flavorful and she maintained patience and even refilled drinks promptly. I recommend this place. I had Mac n cheese with pulled pork added. So tasty.

Had lunch for the first time here! The southwest chicken salad was amazing! Looks like a fun place on the weekends!

Today I got a mushroom and cheese pizza which I highly recommend just so delicious.

We were there for a music event. The cheese breadsticks were delicious! The staff at the outside bar were so very friendly! After this experience we will return just for a meal.

Our waitress was amazing, and the nachos were so good we had to go back the next day to get some more

Thursday night is the best night for your first time there ... 75 cent wings with a huge viety of sauces ... best Mac 'n' cheese in town BY FAR

Words can’t even describe on how impressed I was with this place! I am down visiting, so my friend and I checked JB’s Whiskey out and it did NOT disappoint. Food amazing! Staff excellent. Waitress Alexa knew what we needed before asking. I have been a waitress for 11 years now and I felt this place give the service I give off and I love that! I couldn’t get enough with the outside seating, bands, and it was trivia night place was pack! Even got to meet the owner. What an amazing guy. He was helping in the kitchen but also coming out with food with his waitress and checking on the customers. Outstanding! 10 out 10. Next time I come to Battle Creek this is a must.

Great food and drink,lots of live entertainment and the service is awesome.

Amazing food lots of space drink choices and they always have a special going on this is my new goto place for salads tacos pizza and steak cannot forget the drinks !

Food is pretty good but it’s really the atmosphere that is laid back and chill. New name is Base I believe.

Had the prime rib, cooked to perfection, paired perfectly with their mac and cheese and incredible mashed potatoes, great place to go for plain old good food.

We enjoyed sitting on the patio with our 🐶 doggos. We both ordered the black porter, which was amazing. Our beer cheese nachos were great as well. Great to find a place open on Monday.

We saw the ZZ TOP Tribute band ThunderBeard at JB's Whiskey and they were amazing! We had dinner and the staff and food were great as well. 5 Stars!

Always have had very good food. Our waitress was awesome.
