Uccello's Ristorante - Grandville

I’ve had dinner here with a family member a few times now, and it’s always been pleasant. Service is friendly and quick, and the food’s been decent. This last time I tried their chicken marsala, and it wasn’t as good as I’d have liked. In some ways it reminded me more of sweet and sour chicken from a Chinese restaurant, but it wasn’t bad. I’ve tried Uccello’s pizza and wet burrito before, though, and those were all excellent. If you’re looking for a place to watch any sports games, they have lots of TVs showing the games. It’s definitely better than the national chain restaurants, but I wouldn’t plan on fine dining. They have solid meals served in a casual setting with good service.

We go here often because my daughter has Celiac Disease and this is one of the few places she can truly trust. The food is always delicious and I've honestly never had a bad server here. I highly recommend this place!

Food: I had house salad, puff, shrimp, scallops & crab risotto.
Food was very delicious.

Service: It can be better. I felt delay in Service.

Atmosphere: Enjoyable place to hang out with your loved ones, friends and family.

Only came on here to say how amazing my server Jon was! He was handling the entire dining room by himself, you can tell he’s a seasoned server. His attention to the small details, ability to multitask personality were all very impressive. He just gives off the most warm, genuine energy. He’s great :)

We love this place! Uccello’s has become our Monday Night Football go to because of the bartenders! Alisa and Justin are always there and they are both great! So fun and easy to get along with. They remember our drink orders before we even ask! Even when it’s busy these two always provide great service and make it an enjoyable place to watch the game. Great service, great personalities.

Delicious hamburgers. I do wish they had more booths because that's easier with young kids. Their chairs are too low for the tables (for toddlers), booster seats aren't safe on chairs, and they're too big for high chairs.

Food and service A++, & atmosphere A+ if you are looking for a sports bar. However wear an extra layer or two it is always freaking cold in there - even the servers wear a 2nd layer during the dinner rush.

Very nice spot with great service, tasty food, nice beer selection, and good drinks. Only hesitation is prices. Still a good occasional stop though. The mushroom risotto is fire.

We decided to go out to eat last minute as a family tonight and chose uccellos because a friend had brought us there before and everything was great. Everything was fine until we got our food and i cut into my first piece of chicken and it was very undercooked. No biggie, things happen. We asked our server if she could have the kitchen cook it a bit longer to just get rid of the pink and she took it back. She came back a few minutes later and told us they would have to completely remake the dish instead of popping it in the oven. Again, no biggie. I just asked her if she could put it to go since we had our 3 kids with us and didn’t want everyone waiting for me once the food would eventually get there. She then decided to drop the check in the middle of everyone eating and didn’t return. We wanted to order more drinks and dessert but were never given the option. We had to ask the food runner for boxes and bags to pack up everyone’s food and no manager ever came to check on us. My remake took longer than the original food and then the food runner was the one who brought it out to me in a box. I have been a server and front of house manager in many very busy restaurants for the last 16 years so I am extremely understanding when it comes to restaurant mess ups but this was ridiculous. We only saw our server at 2 other tables the whole time so its not like she was weeded, she did not take 1 dish/cup off our table the ENTIRE time we were there and then rushed us out for no reason. The only reason we had any room on our table is because we were stacking dishes ourselves to make room. Very disappointing night out spending over $100 on dinner. Makes us very wary to return to that location.

UPDATE
The manager got in contact with us and sent us a couple vouchers to go and try the restaurant again. We decided to go today for lunch and everything was great! Our server, Caysee C., was wonderful. Super attentive, refills before we could even ask, checked on us multiple times, and made us feel very welcomed even though she had a completely full section. All of our food came out correct and very tasty. Portions were enough for us to leave full and still have more for later. Very happy with our experience this time and will gladly be going back in the future

I love their food! Good sized portions with quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and I like the many TV's with a variety of sports games to watch.

Ordered food to go. Stromboli was a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but was very filling & good. Pizza puffs were OK, but could use a sprinkle of parmesan to make them better.

Great time out with my wife. We enjoyed the food and the experience. We had an excellent waitress!

One of my favorite restaurants that has the best pasta. Very cozy and warm where you can watch your favorite sport team and have a drink or two. If still hungry have good desserts as well. Can stay warm by the fire place.

Tasted like a trip in the DeLorean—crisp, ingenious, and every bite a leap through flavor time. This pizza is truly awesome

Smoked Gouda chicken wrap and bruschetta. Delish!

The picture is of the pizza puffs!! They are so addicting and good!! Our waiter Bob was awesome!! He was on top of everything!! Now back to those pizza puffs . They are basically balls of dough dip in marinade or cheese sauce. I had the chicken pesto wrap with chips was very tasty. My husband had the meatball sub. 4 big meatballs on a roll he said thumbs up best sub he had.

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner Oct 24/2023. Nikki the event manager was terrific in helping plan. The food was excellent. We got many compliments from people attending how good it was. Buffet style and there was always someone in the room making sure the buffet was stocked, drinks were flowing as requested and all needs were taken care of. Pizza, pastas, salad, breadsticks, tiramisu and cheesecake were all great. Can’t tell you how many people complimented us on choosing Ucellos. “Great idea.”

Great food. Cheap drinks. Berry mojito in picture. Had Bruschetta and Margherita dip! Was delicious! This was the pick me up I needed!

This place is always a great experience especially during big games like lions, Michigan or even Michigan State games. The food is always good and servers are always helpful and quick.

Excellent celebration dinner! Food and service was excellent!!
