We just happened to stop by the Chicken House because we were hungry and in the area. We are from Albion. And before I say anything else, I have to say that we will be back for sure!!

The chicken sandwiches are AMAZING!!! I got the mother clucker and my husband got the Nashville hot. Soooooo good!!!

The owners are really cool too!!
Don’t drive by without trying their food! If it wasn’t winter, we would have tried the ice cream and sundae selection. Darn, I guess we will have to come back a few more times.

Best chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten, highly recommend the Nashville Hot with added avocado and ranch to drizzle on each bite—it’s the perfect balance to the heat. Shockingly good.

Super cute little spot, I have a gluten sensitivity and I was able to get a fried chicken sandwich! So crazy and awesome, everything tasted so good! The location right on the lake is also really cute, definitely well priced and a great spot for lunch!

This place really hit the spot today when it came to a chicken sandwhich. I got the nashville hot chicken sandwhich, my mom got the cali chick. It was so good! I highly recommend this place. Also grabbed a chicken pot pie soup. Haven't ate yet, but after eating these samdwhiches. So good. Be aware. This is not a sit down restaurant. They have picnic tables outside. It is just too cold to be sitting out there.

I like the Nashville hot. It has the juiciest chicken thigh nestled under that fried exterior. Layered with some coleslaw and that Nashville hot sauce.

First visit after hearing many compliments about Chicken House. The Nashville Hot sandwich was very good followed by fresh and tasty Plainwell ice cream. Staff was pleasant, professional, efficient and run a tight ship due to a very busy summer season. Support these bright young people and enjoy great food in a scenic setting - highly recommended!

Nashville hot is fantastic! I recommend putting cheese and bacon on it! Just the right spice, and not to mention, the prices are VERY good! Highly recommend, made a 25 minute drive just for a sandwich!

Chicken House was amazing! My in-laws had been there a few times and raved about the place - so, I knew I had to go when I was next in town. I was able to get a bit of a custom sandwich with just bacon, white cheddar, and mayo and it was great! The four others in my party all got different sandwiches and all of them enjoyed it. Great, great service - including the order being brought out to our car in the cold winter!

Amazing Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was seriously so good. If I was in town longer I would have gone back again in a heartbeat.

One thing to keep in mind about this place is that although they are open until 9ish they stop serving chicken around 4pm. After that they go to ice cream only. Idk why they do this though, because that chicken sandwich would make a great dinner.

The Nashville Hot is hands down the best spicy chicken sandwich you can get.

The best anyone else can hope for is “as good” since I don’t know what they could do to make it better.

They also do a great job with their other products and have amazing “off menu special” sandwiches.

Don’t go to a chain for your chicken sandwich because it will only taste like disappointment. Keep your choice fresh and local.

Food is always bussin 🔥 never disappointed with it. Same price as KFC and Popeyes but definitely way better quality. REAL FRIED CHICKEN not that processed stuff. 11/10 recommended if your looking for a new spot. Also have amazing ice cream and shakes also. I just finished my sammich I think Im gonna go get another one it's that GOOD.

My wife and me happened to come across this cute shack while boating for the first time on gull lake. We absolutely loved the food! Chicken is my favorite food and these girls working here know how to cook chicken! Best chicken tacos I have had! We are foodies and this place is a for sure stop every time we are that way! Can’t wait to try more on their menu! Definitely recommend! Thanks for the great experience and food! We will be back!

One of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. If you don't like HOT stay away from the Nashville hot chicken, but if you like really hot then you've found it. Everything I've ordered on the menu has been amazing.

Stopped on our way up from Indiana to Traverse City. MUST STOP. It was so good and the folks there were so friendly. If I could give more stars I would.

New to the Gull Lake area & just tried Chicken House & loved it! They make some good chicken sandwiches! We tried the special, the Nashville Hot & the California Chick... they were all delicious! Looking forward to trying a new sandwich next time!

Chicken tasted awesome! The tater tots were huge. Everything tasted so good! Accidentally got tomatoes when I asked for none, but you can always take those off :) A+ staff, everyone was super friendly and very covid minded. Will definitely come back for more on their menu!

Once again Great meal … we have eaten at the chicken house many times and it is always very delicious! It has become our “ go to “ local restaurant !

You just need to try it. Nothing better than catching breakfast sandwiches with homemade biscuits and doubling back for a good ole mother clucker. Prices are darn fair too!

GF Peeps, AMAZING fried chicken sandwiches!!! And u get to choose anything from the menu and just substitute with a GF bun because their fried chicken batter is GF!! Also love their chocolate peanut butter milkshakes!
