TAP21

We came in the off season in early April and had low expectations since there would be so few tourists in town. We were more than pleasantly surprised. Great ambiance, terrific service, amazing beer selection, which is updated frequently on electronic board. Most beers reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.

We were on vacation and the atmosphere and food was great on a Saturday afternoon. Having appetizer of Bruschetta and Lunch 🍔 Burgers were SO delicious. Went back for dinner on our Anniversary after a long day of site seeing and they still had kitchen open. Fantastic Filets were tender, great flavor and cooked just right. 🥩 Ribeye looked delicious too ! Great staff, Clean and Upbeat Music. Don’t forgot the Dessert 🍨 We really had the “best seat in the house”

A wonderful find on a wander. Beautiful old backbar is host to a large selections of microbrews. Ten oz pours available for the driver. The burgers were exceptional - we tried the Tap burger and the Hangover burger. Both perfectly prepared, served hot with fries. Friendly service.

Wow..What a surprise! Loved this old time updated cool and hip place! Great food and selection of ciders and beers from all over Michigan. I had a blueberry cider from Spring Lake (vandermills?) and Mo had Rogue River Beer..delicious! Fun atmosphere and very friendly great service! Manistique!

The food and beer are amazing here! Best place to visit in Manistique! We had the prime Rib tacos, tap burger and prime rib sandwich. We are so glad we visited this place!

Randomly stopped in on our way through the U.P. and we so pleasantly surprised. The food and drinks were an 11/10. Tried out the Tap Burger (smothered in beer cheese sauce omg), Peanut Butter Burger, and garlic cheese curds…all to die for! Excellent service and the food was lightening fast. We’ll be back!! 😍

We had burgers and they were great. Recommend the Tap Burger. Great selection of beers on tap. They are all listed on monitors, making it easy to decide.

The service was amazing. The place was full up and the two gals working did a fantastic job. We didn’t have to wait for a second round or anything else.

Apparently, the French Onion soup is very popular. We’ll have to try that next time.

The atmosphere was just perfect. Music but not to loud. The lighting was just right as well.

We’ll be back.

If you are in the Manistique area, I highly recommend checking out Tap 21. As you walk in the door you will no doubt be blown away by the beauty of this place. Gorgeous establishment that is loving maintained. The great experience does not stop there. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, the drinks are great and the food is delicious! Beware...the serving sizes are generous and every bite will make you want to eat more. It's hard not to feel like you've got to roll out of there because you've eaten so much!! Check it out for yourself. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Stopped in for dinner. Tap 21 burger was very good, and Reuben sandwich also excellent. Fries are good as a side. Pretzel bites and cheese were a great appetizer choice. Fun to sample the various 21 beers and hard ciders on tap.
Service was nice, and the dining is very nice, long beautiful bar to enjoy as well.

Hands down the best fried mushrooms I have ever had. The portion size is enough to share. 10/10 will be going back again.

Love this back in time place. All craft beers are made in Michigan. Everything is all computerized. Prices average $12 on up. The back bar wall is history. Built in Chicago 1893. Shipped to Michigan. Has been there all these years. Only three of these were made. Craftsmanship ❤

Unassuming place so when you’re on the way to a better place and tired of driving stop here to eat. The Saturday prime rib found its way across the menu and doesn’t disappoint as oven cooked “burnt ends”, tacos, steak sammiches and more. The apps alone are worthy of call out much less the Tap 21 burger that is amazing. The “21” is a harken to the 21 taps from cider to thick oatmeal stouts, witbiers, ales, ipas and more.

The bar itself is beautiful and looks like it sailed from England through the Soo Locks.

If Shoney’s Big Boy isn’t calling your name then pony up to this bar, or grab a table, and be grateful you needed gas and a break from driving.

This was a great little find for me. I ate lunch here with my family and it was tremendous. Deep fried mushrooms were amazing, burger was good, Pretzel bites were great. Fry's were kinda poor though. Beautiful interior and the waitress was great with my kids.

I'm changing my previous review, for several reasons. Pricing being the biggest...
.79 cents EACH for tomato, lettuce, onion on any sandwich...
13.99 for a Reuben sandwich that DID NOT INCLUDE fries. Chips? Really?
Service was subpar but I guess that just what's for the course there.

We went during Folkfest, so the place was packed. I was pleased that they had extra staff. I enjoyed the pulled pork. If you do not want Cole slaw, ask when ordering. My wife said her cheeseburger hit the spot. The chips are ordinary store chips, so you may want fries instead. They are worth the extra charge. The service was great and they were really working hard. A very enjoyable experience.

We pass thru Manistique every 2-3 months traveling between MN and MI, and finally had the time to eat at Tap21 over memorial weekend. I had THE best rueben I've ever had - real Swiss cheese melted perfectly, hearty corned beef, bread grilled just right, and not a bit greasy. I ate the whole thing before I had the good sense to take a decent picture. A special thanks to Nikki (sp?) who made sure the service and food were both memorable. Will definitely stop again.

We went there for a double date others at the table got drinks which they enjoyed. I got an order of Tap fries which were delicious! The waitress was pretty attentive even considering it was a full house. Overall great experience and would recommend
