Pleasant Ridge Oil Change & Repair

This is the best place I have ever taken my car to, by far. They are truly the most genuine guys and they do great work. I’ve gotten my battery replaced, breaks fixed, wheel bearing fixed, every oil change, etc. I’m not originally from here and I always get skeptical of car places trying to take advantage. Over the last 5 years of living here I have built a relationship with Sal and Alex and they are truly wonderful people. This location was sold at one point and then bought back and I was so excited to see Sal and his guys back! Always willing to help me no matter what and always the kindest people. I have referred everyone I possibly can to this place and everyone has a wonderful experience. I am terribly sad to leave. Going to really miss you guys! If you’re looking for a place to take your car, without a doubt bring it here.

Did a Google search to find a reputable mechanic for oil change and other repairs. Read reviews and felt like I found the right place. I called before coming in and spoke to Mike. I explained my concerns and he told me to come on in, which I'm happy I did. We started with the oil change and radiator flush. They were informative, fast, friendly, professional, and feels trustworthy. Alex, the mechanic, checked things out and heard my concerns. Going to drop off in a week for a full diagnostic and go from there. I think I'm in good hands. So far, so good. Thanks guys!

I’m from out of state and my car wouldn’t start. I looked up an auto shop near my location and found Pleasant Ridge Oil Change & Repairs. I called in my issue and the team there was very responsive, respectful and helpful. The team was able to diagnose the issue in a timely and effective manner. Great Service! They got us in the same day for a brake job and an oil change. Fast Friendly and Fair. The shop was very clean, they clearly care about what they do and the reputation they they’ve built for themselves.

Came to here to get a plug in a tire and they got it fixed in less than 20 minutes. Super friendly and helpful crew. Highly recommend this shop.

I'm from out of the state and was in town visiting my great grandmother for her 99th birthday. On my way back home i had what seemed to be transmission problems. Mike and the guys absolutely took care of my Jeep to get me back on the road to my family in ohio. Great service, and even better guys!

My nephew came to town to visit for his great grandmother‘s 99th birthday.
On his way back to Ohio, he had car difficulties. The engine light came on the car, although it is an automatic it would not shift out of first gear. This morning we took it by Pleasant Ridge Oil Change it’s a Valvoline place. It’s on Woodward Avenue south of Oakland Park Boulevard in Pleasant Ridge on the right side of the street as your traveling southbound about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile south of 10 mile. We spoke to the owner there, Mike and he said his mechanic should be in within the hour.
When the mechanic got there he took it for a drive, put it on the machine to do a diagnostic checked over the items. He looked underneath and found that there were wires chewed. He ordered parts, put them on, called us to come because it was done, and it was under $249. When we got there, they had us to go take a ride to make sure it seemed right to us, and being perfectly honest, these gentleman didn’t know us from anybody, so the fact they gave us the keys and just said go for a ride, which we did. We were very very very pleased with the workmanship, the honesty, the trust I highly recommend Pleasant Ridge Oil Change, and specially the mechanic that they have on duty there also!

I am a new resident in the area and have officially found my new oil change spot. Efficient, helpful, and very friendly. Easy 5 stars.

The owner and employees here are amazing. The service was excellent. Sal went above and beyond to help fix the problem w my daughter's Camry. I recommend this place for car service. Sal is a guy you can trust.

I paid $140 for oil change and radiator flush and was done in about 20 minutes.

Had my oil changed here a few months back and suddenly realized today that my truck was leaking oil. Stopped in tonight (20 mins before they closed) and discovered a corroded washer was causing the leak. Sal replaced the washer and completely changed out the oil and didn’t charge me a cent! It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced this level of customer service.

Mike took care of me, the guys go above and beyond to make sure your car is running well and don’t upsell! Great experience and fast oil change.

I went to other oil change place amd they didn't properly reinstall my skid plate on my car. When I was getting on the express way it was making a lot of noise. I end up here and Sal and his employees were amazing they were very kind and took care of me and fix what they could fix. All around an amazing staff and place. I will be coming back here for all my oil changes. During this I was having a panic attack and they were so kind and got me calm down and give me a drink. Just words don't even describe about how much I appreciate everything that they did for me. Got me up a running quickly. So kind and amazing. An awesome experience getting an oil change here, and more. Sal helped me with a quick check up to make sure everything was running well on my car and was honest with his feedback. Some oil change spots take advantage of customers here but I know they are honest. They definitely have a loyal customer in me!

I brought my car here for an oil change that was 6k+ miles past due. Sal and his team took care of all of my needs in a friendly and professional manner, without making me feel like a dummy for putting off my oil change. I needed my air filter changed as well (which was so difficult to get to, they needed to completely remove my glove box) ... and they even sprayed it with air freshener to make my car smell good!
As a female, it's hard to find a place to get your car fixed where you don't feel like you and your wallet are being taken advantage of. I knew next time I needed something fixed, that it'd be the place. Low and behold, a few weeks later, after being annoyed with a slow leak in my tire, I brought it here to be checked out. Of course... it was a nail. I brought my car in on my lunch break and was in and out in 25 minutes.
Nothing but positive, thankful words for Sal and his team. He really goes above and beyond for his customers. 10/10. Would Highly Recommend.

This local place is amazing. All of the staff is very knowledgeable, kind and super helpful. I take my two cars here for oil changes and tire needs. Took my Volvo in this morning and as always was helped promptly with great expertise and sound advice. Their pricing is also competitive. Highly recommend this business, I keep coming back here.
