Another great transaction with Hunters In Sight. Love this place not just because they are local but the owner and staff are very knowledgable, friendly and fun to talk to. Always enjoy stopping in to see what’s arrived and conversing with Tonya and Brian and Al! Transfers are easy and prices and great! If you haven’t checked them out I highly recommend doing so.

Found this place about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, they are a long way away from me, or I would have given them 6 stars. However, I always enjoy talking to Brian,Wally, Gertrude, Lisa, and Tammy. Whenever I am in the area, I make it a point to spend money here. Anyone who has left a negative review of this place is notably of questionable character at minimum. I'm not a fan of corporate owned FFL's. If you support your 2A, find a reputable family owned business and support it. Great place.

This place is small but packed with almost everything a hunter or pistol man could want. Very friendly staff, owners are great and almost always there to help when busy. Reloading paradise, if you haven’t been to Hunters Insight Firearms your missing out in a jewel of a small town gun store. They’re located in Ortonville Michigan just south of Goodrich or north of Clarkston on M-15.

We've been driving by this place for years. Literally. They are usually already closed by the time we pass by in the evenings thus the reason we haven't stopped in until now.

Wow! If you need reloading supplies, this is your first and probably last stop. We invaded the shop with a truck load of people and rattled off several things we have been looking for. I walked out with the first item I've been searching for.

I've been doing business with Hunters In Sight for years. Walley,Tanya and Brian are tthe best. They conduct business fairly and won't compromise. They shoot straight!

A reloaders ‘honey hole’ if you will. They have just about everything to reload a lot of different cartridges. I’ve found quite a few hard to find dies here as well. The team there have been a huge help since I first started reloading with guiding me in the right and safe direction. A bonus is they are a Dillon and Henry dealer!

Every single person at this place was friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I are new to gun ownership and they were very patient with us and answered all of our questions. Their selection is fantastic and I quite honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Their shop is about 45 minutes from our house, but this will be our go-to for guns and ammo. Highly recommend!

Great place to buy your shooting needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was put on a list to buy a very hard to get product 8 months ago and when it came in they followed thru and called me when it came in, just like they said it would.

I had a great first experience. They’re busy so it might take some time for them to get to you but were friendly and helpful throughout the process. They have some ammo set aside for if you purchase a fire arm you can purchase a box of that caliber. Great idea! I’m glad I stopped to check them out and will definitely be back.

This is a great little gun shop. The owners are actively involved all day long. Brian who works in the sales side is very polite. It's small, they are keeping inventory even now when stuff is hard to get. They have a full selection of reloading equipment and accessories. They give fair prices on trades. EVEN NOW WHEN FINDING AMMO IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE... THEY GOT IT IN BULK... 9MM, 223, 308, 45. People are lined up to get help in this place so be patient. So stop in and tell them you saw this review!

Btw.... In my opinion the owner aka "owners wife" is actually very nice and helpfull. So, I think from reading Dwayne Hunters review he miss read what actually happened.

Anyways right now is not the time to be kicking around a gun shop unless you intend to actually buy something! Every shop is in warp speed!

My wife and I traveled to Ortonville Michigan this past weekend from Jeffersonville Indiana for our grandson's birthday party. I saw this store and had to go in (being the gunaholic I am) . I was surprised to see the amount of amazing firearms they had in stock ! I truly enjoyed the great conversation with the staff. I ended up buying a gun case for my AR pistol. I know on my next trip I will buy much more.

These folks are great, very easy to work with and always polite. Tanya is personable and easy to talk to. Brian knows just about everything there is to know about firearms and he likes to share what he knows with others. Great place to shop, glad they are close to my home. Thanks guys!

This is an excellent local shop with a family atmosphere. I have 3 gun shops within 10 miles of my house and I drive 20 miles out of my way to come here. Tanya (Tonya?), Wally and Brian are all fantastic! As a new member to the handloading community, Wally and his shop have been an amazing resource. Reloading equipment and supplies are well stocked and appropriately priced. Even if comparing prices to the various online sources, when you take out shipping and Hazmat fees, prices are right on par and often better. Plus, every time I go to the shop, I learn at least something about handloading that has improved my efficiency and/or quality of my loads. I'm very impressed with all components of this shop. I feel very fortunate to have this within half an hour from my home.

5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! I've been to this store 3 times and I will continue to drive way out of my way to support them. The owner Wally and his wife are great! Everytime I ask Wally annoying newbie reloading questions, once he's done laughing at me (kidding), he patiently and thoroughly answers all of my questions. He's a really cool guy. Wally is The Man!! EVERYONE local who is in the sport should be supporting our local gun shops! And these folks here are GOLD!! Only negative I noticed is that they still don't have draft beer on tap yet!! Ugh!
