Bueches Food World - Ortonville

Awesome grocery store in the Goodrich area.

Stopped by on the way home to pick up groceries instead of going to Meijer and glad we did.

Very clean and well stocked store. Very unique compared to a larger grocery store.

Staff we're extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommended over the chain supermarkets in the area.

Great store great people. I prefer local, people who don't are asking to have less local stores and more foreign items, which will also become more expensive and worse quality, like foreign tilapia!

Been shopping at the Ortonville store since it opened. Compared to Ortonville Foods, Bueches is a 25 on a 10 scale. I am glad they picked Ortonville to set up shop. Great store and employees.

One of my favorite local grocery stores. Small town feel with good selection and well stocked. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Nice touches like having paper bags at checkout and will load groceries for those that ask. Meat and produce have always been good.

It's convenient, clean and staff are great. The prices are a little higher, but selection is great, and food is fresh.

Love our hometown grocery store!

Fantastic place!!!! It was very clean and well organized. Stock was plentiful and fresh seafood/ meat displays looked fresh. Aisles are wide and for some reason I didn’t feel as overwhelmed as I usually do in grocery stores. They had everything I was looking for too.

Had just what I wanted and some more. Best banana cream pie.

A few weeks ago we had company coming to our house. We have bought pre cooked chicken from Bueches on several occasions over the past several years. Due to Coved and being shorthanded they have signs at the Deli counter letting everyone know the situation. We placed an order for some chicken and when I went to pick up the chicken (after the Deli was closed), they could not find the order. The person helping us went to the store manager Kari. Kari went above and beyond to help me figure what to do in order to feed our company. Bueches has never let us down and I would say the customer service is great.

1st time in here. Upon asking staff was very helpful, letting me know where everything I needed was. I was in a huge hurry. They came through for me and I quickly was able to find my stuff and check out. Great variety of deli items, even near closing time. Was impressed. Reminded me of my days working at Hillers Market. Great variety of everything.

Bueches is the only grocery store in a 20 mile radius. So it is busy. A little more expensive than big box stores but it is convenient ,and the employees are pleasant. Especially the check out guy with booming voice and meat counter butchers.

I wish they would bring back the daily lunch menu with the $1 tacos. I know many people that still wish they did that. Make them $3 tacos, I'll still come get them. Way better than taco bell!

Bueche's has become my favorite place for fresh meats & produce. Everything is kept clean & neatened. I especially love the wide aisles. So much easier to push a cart around. Checkout is always friendly. And sometimes your groceries are taken to the car for you. By the way, their cake donuts are the best!

Step through the doors of your local bueches and be transported back to the dark ages. This place has the feeling of the 1950's, and I can't quite place my finger as to why. The people are pretty nice, and there is a good selection of food. I myself have eaten atleast 36 pounds of potato wedges and fried chicken which I have absolutely zero regret. There's something in the air, I'm not sure what it is but it feels heavy, like the burdens of my sadness when I see my receipt and see how much I spent on bacon. Thank you bueches for being who you are. Strange but beautiful.

Bueches is a nice place to shop, been shopping there since 1999 when we moved to the area. The employees are friendly, the Deli's great & the Paczki donuts this time of year are delicious & have tons of filling in them!! 😋 Thank you & keep up the good work!! 😉

Bueches is our local mom and pap shop in Ortonville. I spend as much as I can in there to support their business, even though it’s a bit more expensive than Meijer and Krüger.
