Mexican Gardens Restaurant

I cannot say enough great things about this place! I’ve been a patron since they’ve opened. I have never been disappointed by this restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere are always great. You are always seated quickly and the food arrives hot and fresh. Everything I have ever tried off their menu has been perfect. I usually only stick to my tried and true crispy beef taco dinner. I don’t know what they do, the way they season their beef is the best!! I just wish you could get more sour cream rather than those little cups they use. I don’t really care for the thick chips, but that doesn’t stop me from eating a whole basket! I love the hot sauce and guacamole! I will frequent this place for the rest of my life. Thank you Mexican Gardens for remaining the same, great, delicious, authentic Mexican food around!

We are blessed with many great Mexican Restaurants around the Downriver Area and Mexican Gardens is certainly no exception. This has been a long time favorite of mine for many, many years. I can always depend on consistency of delicious food, a friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Bravo to all who work so hard to make dining here a positive experience.

Went there for a birthday luncheon. The waitress was quick to the table and very attentive. Drinks were delivered and took an appetizer order which came out real quick. Our main order soon followed. Chicken burrito with two chicken soft tacos, beans and rice. Delicious 😋😋

Love the food. Servers are good, but seem overwhelmed, and ours had to be asked twice for salt and pepper, which should have already been on the table. Not so thrilled with how loud the guests are. If you're at a table of 16, don't be rude and yell conversations from one end of the table to the other. That said, we'll keep going back, for now.

Went for lunch and they give you complimentary soup with your meal. Split a steak fajita dinner with my daughter and we still had food leftover. Staff is so nice and really attentive. I can see why they were voted #1 best Mexican restaurant & best family owned restaurant. You can also download their app and save 10% on your first order with them !!

Came here for dinner tonight with my wife and Father-in-law. We were seated immediately and got chips and salsa almost immediately afterward.

We all ordered margaritas and let me tell you they were really good! You can read into that as meaning strong!

I ordered the Juanito burrito with steak fajita as seen in the pictures. That was one of the finest burritos I've eaten in a long time, I highly recommend you try it!

We're all looking forward to our next visit!

I’m so glad I spin the block to this restaurant. Chris my server was really nice! I only came to pick up my food and he was super kind to help me with the menu and gave me appetizers while I wait for my food to be done! If you go here, I recommend Chris.

My husband took me here for my Birthday yesterday! First off I'll start by saying our waiter Chris was amazing, along with our for and drinks!! Thank you again for the taco soup we got to try on the house!! We always love coming here!! Great job guys!!!:)

This was my first time here. Service was quick and efficient!! Food was flavorful. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone.

Went for dinner had burrito dinner and tamale dinner both were very good. Raspberry margarita was delicious. Service was outstanding.

Tried this place out. The food was good and service stellar.

I’m just obsessed with their chicken tacos and their Shirley temples. Service is always amazing. Decor is a little dated but that doesn’t matter to me all I care about is the food!

The service was top notch. Our server was friendly, efficient, always checked to see if everything was fine, asked if we needed anything, refilled our coffees, was just plain perfect.

The Mexican Sandwich is FANTASTIC!
Great food and service, but the dining room was a little crowded and the hostess stand was a bit disorganized, probably because it was very busy.

i come here all the time with my grandma. i never get sick of this place! food is fast. outstanding waiters/waitresses. and excellent authentic media an comfort food. wonderful job. keep up the good work staff!

2pm Saturday just after the lunch crowd and just before linner so it was pretty empty. Nice atmosphere and Mexican themed music. The food tastes great, came hot and fast. Everyone was very polite and friendly.

Delicious. Fast seating even tho we had a party of 11. Clean and friendly. Will be back again

Just got a beef and bean botana, ive been going to Mexican Garden for over 30 years. This is the best botana I ever got from there, from anywhere. What ever your doing keep up the great food! You guys are the best!
