The Dosa buffet is something to definitely try. Unlimited kinds of dosas. Only problem is it will take a while to get the dosa, as they make it fresh and cooked to order, which increases the taste. The owner Kiran is humble and always is looking to make customers happy.

Tried some more dishes here which were also great.
A little on the pricey side but still well worth it

We have been visited Aroma few times, food taste was always outstanding! Staff is very humble and generous, good service.. improved a lot after the new management! Price is worth for quality and quantity. Keep up the good job!

Aroma is quite frankly the best Indian food in metro detroit right now. The restaurant is a quiet and cozy space, and the manager and staff are very friendly. Everything we ordered was served promptly and tasted incredible. The flavor of the food is not simply due to grease, as many indian restaurants do. Rather, the food at Aroma is intricately prepared and great care is taken with all ingredients. We ordered grilled fish, fish curry, and chicken curries. All of the food was phenomenal. Rice and Naan were very tasteful and were not an afterthought as in many other restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant and their catering services as well. Posted is a picture of their gajjar halwa which is made very well!

We got take out pre-COVID because we were told by friends that this is the place to go, especially for the malai kofta. So glad we went because it was amazing! Some of the very best malai kofta I’ve ever tried! The customer service was friendly and considerate. We will definitely be back soon!

Food is always fresh and tastes great. I usually get two portions from one meal. I find that they are a little pricey but it's typical for the area.

I came here specifically to leave this review... the customer service in this establishment is amazing !! AMAZING !! I have never in my entire time ordering from an Indian Restaurant had such an incredible experience. I got an email about Biriyani Wednesday, and honestly who is going to pass that up, especially since they make the absolute best Chicken 65
Biriyani I have ever had ! Well, it seems I was not the only one, and they had a ton or orders... well, I ordered 2 Biriyanis and a 32 ounce Mango Lassi and other items... upon coming home my Chicken 65 Biriyani wasn’t there and neither was the 32 ounce Mango Lassi... I called and spoke to Mr. Kiran who happens to also be the owner, and he apologized so profusely and said he wished he had a delivery guy available to drop it off, but that I could come in anytime to pick it up. Today I called, and had the most polite exchange with another person who knew the story and was prepared for me to come in and get my items !! Mr. Kiran was actually concerned if I would have enough food (I’m a foodie so I notoriously over order) but it was that kindness that meant so much to me !

Honestly, with business having to close down because of the pandemic (my heart broke when Aroma was closed... and I called and called to see if they were doing carry out) If you have been thinking about ordering and eating from this restaurant... what are you waiting for ? GO !! The food is good, service is awesome... I ask other Indian restaurants to please take note... this is how you get people to come back !! Thank you all Aroma Indian Cuisine... I wish you nothing but success !! ☺

My wife and I had dinner here last night and the food was FANTASTIC!! We were slightly turned off by the plastic utensils amd paper plates, but we found out that they were completely short staffed- like most restaurants these days! There were only 2 people working on a Friday night, our server Elton and someone else in the kitchen. It was slow when we first arrived, but soon after the tables were filled! The phones were ringing with orders coming in as well as people picking up their food. Elton held it down like a boss!! No doubt they were serving on paper plates and plastic wear- I wouldn't want to do dishes after running around like that either!!

The services was GREAT!! And they did an AMAZING job of keeping things in order like they did! My wife and I will definitely be back! Don't let the negative reviews on here turn you off. Everyone has an off day so give them a chance with an open mind! You won't be disappointed...

The place is really best and worth every penny. Food, gratitude, and price everything is so much better than all other Indian restaurant. Specially the guy who served us is really good and with lots of patience, I appreciated his attitude and started speaking with him. Then I understood he's the owner and I felt amazed. How can a owner have that kind of great attitude. Trust me, just go once to this restaurant and this will be your permanent place.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Michigan. Ambiance, taste and portion size are worth the price. More varieties in lunch buffet than any typical Indian restaurant and desserts are always fresh. Polite and attentive staff. Wednesday night Dosai buffet is one of a kind in town. Keep up the good service Aroma team

So far best Indian buffet place we have been to. Butter chicken is my favorite.

Ran out of paper towels in the bathroom.
Can understand.it was a busy lunch day.but there was a hand dryer in the bathroom.
Bathrooms were clean though.
The best quality is Indian food in Farmington hills.

Amazing biryani especially the Vegetable 65 Biryani . Portions were large and the Worth the price!! Will visit again

You know we only write reviews when something is horrible or outstanding. This place is Outstanding! I love, love love the lunch buffet. Unfortunately I go can only during the weekdays during my lunch break because it's too far from where I live :(

The people are so friendly and inviting. Several times the nice tall guy at the front with the ponytail has suggested new delicious items to try in the buffet.

The food is so delicious and consistent (never have to worry about the cooks trying something new on your favorite dishes)

If you love indian try this place also they don't make their butter chicken disgustingly sweet like other places. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect Food! We tried vegetarian lunch items in buffet. Both south Indian and north Indian specialties were too good; they keep non vegetarian items too. The food tasted fantastic. I really liked the Rose Milk and the fact that menu was unique. The staff was very kind and respectful. We will definitely visit again.

Met some friends for a Sunday buffet. The place was very busy and the food was great! Such a nice variety of both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes as well as desserts. My Indian boyfriend and his friends enjoyed the food as well so to me that is the ultimate sign of approval. This place is definitely worth a visit!

We used the website ordering process and picked up the food. It was very good. I would say the mild is just a hint "spicier" than one person could handle. Be careful with the lamb biryani as there is no heat choice. The garlic naan was delicious. I would ask for 3 rices for every 2 entrees, but this is minor.

Best Indian cuisine we've found in the Detroit area and Kiran is the best host, making the dine in choice worth it! I've been to several other Indian cuisine places in the Detroit area and my cultural husband has had it through the states and after I took him here we both agreed this was the BEST place we've found! AND for INTRODUCING Indian food to others like my parents Karen was again the best host, helping them understand what they'd like most and spending much time talking to them about each dish. He set the scene with music and is just always a delight to see!

This is not the first time to Aroma Indian Restaurant. My husband and I have frequented this place quite often. I decided to write my first review to my most favorite cusine and the restaurant that consistently has served the best-thank you Aroma. The Valentine dinner was exceptional and really touching to see what care and attention to detail was taken. It is hard to pull if off with a packed restaurant but you guys did a great job.

This Indian-style restaurant is a must-try for anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine. The interior atmosphere is not as stylish as a million-dollar-corporate-owned establishment, but the food easily makes up for it. As a newer business, they have expressed plans to expand the size of the building very soon. The location is very clean, the staff is attentive and the experience is something worth having.
