Excellent salads, pasta, and cocktails. The steak is great as well. My family has been here many times. Each experience was nice. This evening our server was Brie. She was knowledgeable about the menu, and she gave good recommendations. She was funny as well. It's refreshing when someone does their job well without taking themselves too seriously.

Was really impressed with all the food that we ordered from the appetizers all the way to the desserts. Every item was so rich and delicious. The service as well was so unbelievably kind and helpful. The only negative was that it was really loud in there which isn’t what I expected from a spendy place. There’s no soft textures anywhere to “soak up” the noise; it’s a lot of mirrors and glass and brick so it just gets really, really loud which was an atmosphere bummer. Once some tables left it was more manageable and enjoyable.

I love this place! Upscale, warm and friendly with great food! Found this place, while walking through the downtown area of Oconomowoc. Sat at the bar and was greeted by the friendly bartender. I was just going to have a relaxing cocktail, until I smelled the food and watched it being served to the other guests. I decided to order an appetizer of the fresh made meatballs and the bread basket. They were terrific!
I was so impressed, I called my friends and had them join me for dinner. They ordered a delicious cheeseburger and some fresh pasta. Everybody was happy.
I walked through the entire restaurant and was amazed by the beautiful view overlooking the lake. They have an open kitchen, where you can watch as your food is being prepared.
Parking is available in front of the restaurant.
I can't wait to come back, when I'm visiting. I believe this is one of the best restaurants that I've been in the area.

Amazing dining experience from start to finish. We had a reservation for 8:30 and got to the area earlier than expected. We called at 7:50 and asked if we could come in at 8 and they gladly obliged even on Saturday night.

The tableside pasta was amazing as always. We both got short ribs and everything was perfect.

Sandra was the absolute best waitress and took great care of us!

Office-building facade, but cozy inside with waterfront view during daylight. Disabled parking available in front. Very attentive host, waitress and chef. I'm usually not a big Italian food fan (the birthday boy picked this restaurant as his top choice), but all components of the meal were excellent, especially the table-prepared asiago mac & cheese (highly recommended!). We split it as an appetizer. Adequate variety of wine and other drink choices to complement the meal; generous wine portion. The two-top table by the window was chilly (winter time) and a little small and became crowded with dishes, but our waitress helped manage it well. A little pricey, but convenient place for special occasions. Look forward to returning and sampling more of the menu.

My husband and I went to Lago Su Bella for the first time last night for our 9 year “dating” anniversary. And WOW! Did it exceed our expectations. The starter bread was great! I had the Caprese salad for an appetizer and my husband had the Minestrone soup - they were both AMAZING! I had the table side pasta for my entree and he had the pesto pasta which again were both SO good. We also shared a meatball which was just as delicious. We were given a cannoli for our anniversary and then also ordered the Chocolate Mousse Dome for dessert to take home and they were both outstanding. The cocktails were great as well. Victoria, our server, was very attentive, kind and so welcoming! The whole experience was awesome and we will definitely be back!

We were here for Valentine’s Day. The restaurant was packed. But we were seated on time by the window. Service was prompt and attentive in spite of the busyness.

We enjoyed everything we had. Pictured is the frutti di mare. The seafood was quite nice…a big step up from standard seafood options in the Midwest.

I think we got out of there with a respectable bill. If you eat here and want to enjoy yourself, I’d anticipate $100/person. We had a bottle of wine, appetizers, entrees and dessert. This isn’t an Applebee’s…quality food and a nice experience is going to cost more.

We had two minor “complaints.” The first is that the tables by the window can get chilly in the winter (shocking!). My girlfriend gets cold easily. The view was terrific, but plan to dress a little warmer if you’re that person that gets cold. I personally was fine with the temperature. The second issue is the limited parking in front. Definitely not a big deal. Be a gentlemen and drop your date off at the front, then park across the street.

Update: some of the best lobster bisque we’ve ever had!

Absolutely fantastic time at Lago Su Bella. Came early on a Sunday evening. Not crowded, as was expected. Immediately greeted by friendly staff and was escorted to a nice table for the four of us. Atmosphere is warm and inviting, with wonderful views of Lac La Belle - a bit romantic too. Both the food and drink menus are complete, sure to provide something you're looking for. The food was amazing! Prices are above average, but average isn't what you come here for. My complements to the Chef and the other fine people here! We'll be back again for sure!

We had family in town and chose Lago Su Bella for an early Christmas dinner. From the moment we walked in the door the service was excellent. The Calamari and Bruschetta were both fantastic . Everyone loved their main dish. The grilled pork chop and lasagna were standouts. Everyone agreed to make Lago our new tradition for our early Christmas dinner!

Thank you to Mike, Kristine and crew for a great birthday celebration for my nephew. Great beverages, appetizers, dinners & deserts. Loved the lamb chops & spaghetti! We will be back!

Absolutely amazing. Only downside would be parking (unfamiliar with the area and trying to park in the dark - but did find public parking behind the building across the street). Gnocchi was fantastic, so good I'm not sure I'll ever try anything else. The amaretto creme brulee was so creamy and the flavor was so unique.

Great local food and upscale atmosphere on the lake. The wife and I shared calamari, and ravioli and both were cooked perfectly. The tenderloin was tender and we had the halibut topped with crab. The wine menu is extensive and the entrees are delicious. Looking forward to going back.

Food was to die for! Everything was amazing and Amy delivered impeccable service to my family. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there!

Went here once with my parents. Food had a little room for improvement but otherwise, everything was great. Also glad to see the owner standing up for himself in these reviews!

Outstanding service! Great food and atmosphere. I was with a party of six, the restaurant was full (how wonderful), people visiting and enjoying! However, it was loud and it was hard to hear anyone but the person next to you. Not sure anything can be done about that as it’s an architectural thing? Highly recommend this place.

If you want great, friendly, knowledgeable, 5 star service, then dine or just have a drink there. The maitre d, bartenders, waitresses, cooks, I loved everything about this place. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and view are top notch.

Spectacular food, lake view and service (server Fabiana was wonderful). Menu reminded me of being in Sicily. Such authentic menu. Best scallops I've ever had. Soupa was delicious. Nicely done decor. Has become a favorite restaurant. Nice Italian wine selection.
