Readers World

Readers World is a Holland staple. Small and narrow, but a warm and cozy place with an astounding selection for it's size. They have about 10% the space for magazines such as Barnes & Noble, however the variety of offerings is amazing and seems way least daunting to browse.
I also love the local section near the door. It has really opened a line of interest for me in local marine history through casual reading.
In short, it is such a great place to browse that you feel the natural urge to explore something new. Nothing better than stumbling into a new author, subject, or genre that leads to another reading horizon that you weren't even aware it was out there.
...And thanks for being open on Sunday in Holland!😁

A great bookstore in downtown Holland!

A lovely little shop with an impressive selection. Their graphic novel selection was well curated. I was happy to see Giant Days and some Image Comics titles.

Very friendly. I was greeted as soon as I entered. I found a great book and the history of passports and then found all these great local books. Downtown Holland is amazing.

I stopped in at this bookstore while exploring downtown Holland and was delighted by the selection of books, magazines, and other fun items. This store is very well-curated, with an abundance of interesting publications on offer. I picked up an issue of Timothy McSweeney's Quarterly Concern, a beautiful book on seasonal embroidery, and a few other things. I highly recommend a visit to this gem of a bookstore.

They have every book you can think of and the librarian was so, so sweet and knowledgeable! 100% recommend this spot to anyone hoping to pick up a good book over their vacation

Beautiful bookstore! My fiancé and I were driving through town and I just had to stop. So glad I did. We picked up a children’s book by a local author and then a memoir. The store was perfectly sued and had a great selection!

Larger than expected. Very friendly staff. Great selection in lots of categories. Good kids section. Lots of magazines. I feel like I’m just listing things. We stopped in twice in the last two weeks and found new things both times. Stop in and support your local bookstore!

Cute store with wonderful staff. They have an amazing selection of books, and the couple of times they didn’t have what we needed they were able to order it for us!

Wonderful small bookstore! Staff are very friendly and helpful. This tiny shop has a great selection of children's books, magazines and cookbooks. For such a small footprint it really packs a punch! What they do not have they will gladly order for you. If the “corner book store” from You’ve Got Mail was real, this would be it. I also appreciate their seasonal window displays. Can’t wait to return.

This is a very pleasant place to go when your downtown! Me and my sister went here looking for a book and the lady who there helped us find it in less then 5 min. It's also a great place for Christmas gifts!

This is a great small bookstore... the kind that makes you wonder if Amazon is really worth it. When you are in downtown Holland this is a must stop, even if you are like me and have barely read much lately due to how much awesome content there is available to stream. They have all the magazines too and a beautifully curated selection of puzzles.

My family has been making our annual Holland, Michigan trip for many years and only now found this awesome bookstore. They have a nice selection with many socially diverse and inclusive books that are so important in today's society. They also had a great selection of graphic novels which my kids enjoyed as well as many other options. Readers World became an instant must stop shop for our future trips.

I appreciate their willingness to hold items they have in-stock or order what I am looking for! I've been impressed with how quickly orders come in. They also have a very relevant and rich children's book selection. I appreciate being able to find important and unique books for our kids.

What an awesome bookstore. Friendly service and an awesome CURATED selection of the best and most interesting books. The sales person helped my son discover a favorite new series by asking him some questions about the kind of books he enjoys and enthusiastically led him to the series while describing it for him. Additionally, fantastic magazine selection for car buffs (and great auto books too).

Reader's world has a great selection, Wonderful and helpful staff, and will go above and beyond to get you what you want.

I brought my 11yo son in to find a detective/mystery book. He's never been interested in this genre, but needed to read one for school. We asked the lady who were there to help him pick one and she was fantastic! She enthusiastically grabbed a bunch of different books from different shelves, giving him details about each. He decided on two and hasn't put the book down since! Thanks for a great experience!
