El Rancho

From a Mexican person.. El Rancho is one of the best Mexican restaurant in holland. The food is amazing with great service. Totally recommend.

Loved it! This is now one of my favorite restaurant outside of Grand Rapids. 👏🏻 The food had lots of flavor. The service was also very friendly which is a plus to me. Good job! Keep it up!

Awesome atmosphere and very authentic. The service was great. Don't let the location fool you, this place is amazing despite the outside looking plain. It was pretty packed but everything still moved quick.

By far one of our favorite restaurants. One of the only reasons we go to Holland instead of GR is to eat at El Rancho. We have been coming here consistently since 2014 and have never had a bad experience. It’s always great food that arrives quickly, friendly and efficient staff, very very clean, good music, affordable authentic food. I literally have nothing negative to say!

I love coming here. Staff are friendly and nice. Quick service + atmosphere is good. Food is delicious! I usually come weekday during lunch hours and I’ve never had a bad experience.

Reliably good food and service! Very cool booths and seating, nice clean place and accommodating to larger groups. Same ownership and basic menu as Don Louis in Grand Haven but I like the margaritas better here as they aren’t sweet. I recommend trying their carnitas, super tender and flavorful!

Always great food. Always great service. Always good environment. Never disappointed when we go to El Rancho, no matter which location! Highly recommend!

They have excellent fajitas, and one of my favorites is pollo supremo. The chips and salsa are the best too. This particular trip I opted for their special, which was cheaper, but I really should have stuck with my favorites. Those will keep me coming back, over and over.

Great food, and a good atmosphere. I got the chicken burrito with a side of rice!! $10 ;-)
Very authentic place and great options for lunch, dinner, and drinks!

Absolutely loved it, it was amazing and nice portion sizes. We even had leftovers for later. Another Holland area date night win!

El Rancho serves the best tasting authentic Mexican food in Holland. Every dish in the menu will leaving you craving more. The micheladas elevate your beer to another level and the atmosphere is great. I can't forget the first class service. This is my go to Mexican restaurant.

Food was very good would definitely recommend! Service was quick waiter was attentive.

My husband and I stopped in for a dinner out and ere pleasantly surprised b the quick seating, heartwarming decor and music. We ordered carne asada and chorizo tacos. The meal came hot with fresh cilantro, onions and a lime on the choizo with salsa. The carne asada was good with fresh lettuce, tomatoes. The chips and dip were served warm and the wait staff was nice and efficient. All in all a nice relaxing dinner.

This is hands down THE best Mexican food place in Holland. I have not had a single bad dish here... ever. The service is awesome. They are intuitive enough to top off your chips and salsa with a mere look from you. The tacos are legit, authentic street style. Simple and perfect. There are veggie options as well.

Free chips and salsa are bomb. I've yet to have an entree here that wasn't fantastic. Prices are reasonable and staff are well trained. This place gets 5 stars across the board.

Loved the food!
I love Mexican rice, and this is one of my new favorites! The 'side' of rice was huge.
The taquitos mexicanos were delicious
The pina colada margarita was yummy. And again it's huge and around $12 on happy hour special.
Definitely worth a stop!

My last few visits have been with large parties and their service or food has never suffered from the size of our group.
